in the early seasons of supernatural, sam wears unique clothing. he wears jeans with detailing on the pockets, his signature hoodie, and lots of graphic tees. even his computer has cute little stickers on it.
yet as the seasons go by, he loses more and more of his unique clothing until his wardrobe is nearly identical to deans. this loss of personal style tracks with his willpower and willingness to fight with dean and his assimilation into the hunting lifestyle.
It's a lot healthier to go for a daily walk than to sign up for a gym membership you won't be using because you hate that kind of exercise. It's a lot healthier to eat a frozen meal than to skip a meal because you were too tired to cook something healthy. It's a lot healthier to take a quick shower than to procrastinate an elaborate routine for days. Don't aim so high that you won't be hitting anything!
not to be insensitive but some of the salem witch trials were so funny bitches like “i saw her at the devils sacrament!!!” girl... what were YOU doing at the devils sacrament 👀
reblog if you’ve read fanfictions that are more professional, better written than some actual novels. I’m trying to see something
I’m always thinking about how Sam Winchester, who’s always believed in God and Angels even when it feels like they don’t care, even when it’s proven that they don’t care, or despise him for ‘his nature and existence’, who prayed every day for a long time in hope someone or something was watching over him, found out that demons had been watching over him ever since he was a child
Dark flowers appreciation post
the fact that i'm no longer the same age as the protagonists of novels and films i once connected to is so heartbreaking. there was a time when I looked forward to turning their age. i did. and i also outgrew them. i continue to age, but they don't; never will. the immortality of fiction is beautiful, but cruel.
everything is right in the world (misha collins said something deeply, deeply insane)
