The rough and tumble combat medic comes through strong.
A couple more Emryn outfits! I really like how rugged the brown one looks in particular.
To Vette, Crodek is very off putting, because he he values her and treats her with more dignity then she’s accustomed too. While still being very much a Sith and dangerous killing machine. Sure Crodek is decent enough to her but he hasn’t truly freed her.
This man bargained with Vette for her freedom and did give it to her. Only when on his ship where it’s assured that she has no where else to go.
Crodek very much considers Vette his property, so in his mind he wants to grow her as much as possible. This gives him a vested interest in her well being. Which was part of the reason he removed the slave collar with the other reason being a demonstration how he keeps his word.
Vette understandably feels stifled by this behavior. So she holds her ground by using jokes and commentary to point out the holes in his logic. This aggressive sort of verbal grappling does actually end developing both of them into more competent and sure individuals.
This dynamic of those will continue to unfold and perhaps Crodek may grow enough to fully give Vette her freedom. At the moment it seems unlikely that Crodek will romance Vette as they’re busy enough as frenemies.
This dude a piece of work in enjoyable sort of way.
Ammix Kirollan is from a long line of Sith and fancies himself a new, more progressive voice in a tradition he thinks could be better. This does not mean he's a nice or good person, but more that he thinks Sith philosophies and fear and hatred and violence should be made accessible to more people. Like, Jadus, without the supervillain monologues. If you met this man, you would probably want to stab him, except then he'd be proud of you as he's Force choking you in revenge and that's just bizarre.
Ammix genuinely thinks being violent and casually cruel is a sign of strength - the aesthetically strong man who has never contended with his own problems and instead chooses to stab his way past them. He also thinks he is imparting some great wisdom on others when he tries to share this concept with them. Because adults who are not already entrenched in imperialism and fascism don't tend to listen when a guy holds them at lightsaber-point and says "you'd be so much happier if you weren't afraid to kill people," he finds that youths are more... Receptive... To his "teachings."
So he becomes an abusive adoptive father. His children are raised to compete for approval, stab each other in the back metaphorically if not literally to come out on top, and to mistreat those "lesser" in order to prove their own strength and worth. Some thrive on this (or at least think that they do - they truly do not) but most either crumple under the emotional and physical abuse or, like Del'qarev, cut Ammix and the other kids off as soon as possible. Ammix doesn't get why - Del is one of his success stories, risen to the role of Emperor's Wrath, and he thinks he's the one who got Del there. Talking to Ammix always gives an impression of a genuinely cordial man up until someone does something to displease him, and then the real Sith comes out.
(playing him in-game reveals the same paternalistic energy - it's how he behaves toward Jaesa, who he definitely makes fall, and he actually appreciates Quinn's betrayal as much as he hates it because that is how to do it! The friendliest of my dark-side characters, and the most horrifying because of it)
all the starters <3 they’ll all get full images eventually!!
This head cannon has been immediately adopted!
sometimes i think about how jro said that cybertronians are naturally v social and that’s why everyone on the lost light has a roommate and idk i love that bit of worldbuilding so much

Transformers Hound Headcannons
Hound is blown away by the small things in life like how molecules make metal he appreciates how delicate their structures have to for life to just work. To him the fact this can echo from molecular level up the levels of an ecosystem. He never gets tired of how miraculous it is that things just work and that work well enough for things to just keep living.
Hound carries this awe with him as an insatiable curiosity. He can see the miracle in things working! Enough to listen appreciatively has Prowl ranting about strategy, Wheeljack gushing about what could work, and Mirage literature takes. All of these things are genuinely incredible to Hound.
He always wants whoever he talking to tell him more about ever it is their going on about. As a result of being a very engaged listener he has a lot friends amount the Ark crew. Even with difficult bots like Cliffjumper and Mirage. Hounds ability to always talk to people can be annoying since he has held two separate conversations at the same time before. To the irritation the two bots trying to talk to him.
This curiosity is what drives him. Drives Hound to explore, to make friends, and to lay on his stomach in the mud to watch the fish doing their thing for hours at a time. This curiosity and constant learning that goes with it is part of where is his reigned tracking skills come from.
It is this constant amazement that life just lives, that Hound fights for during the war. This is cause he chooses to risk his life for, this is what he comforts himself with on nights where even the stars are dark.
This part of his being is why Hound treasures Earth. There is so much living in the earth from the people to the worms beneath their feet. It just blows Hounds mind. Because it’s so beautiful, and so preciously balanced it’s…every Cybertron isn’t. Was but is no longer. So Hound will treasure and record as much of Earth’s life as possible.
He’d treat a weed he dug up like it’s sacred. While carefully photographing and documenting it, for his holograms. Then he’d gently replant it before going to the Ark to reconnect and share.
Authors note: I just think there could be this beauty to Hound so now you all get to have it too.
