Lots of thoughts recently. Everything feels plastic.
I could go on and on about why all that AI "art" is bad. I could mention theft, lack of creativity, it's impact on the work field and environment, but countless people have already said all that. I wanted to touch on something that to me is the most utterly wrong about all of it.
Art is more than just something pretty to look at or listen to. It's therapeutic. It's a form of communication. A tool for human connection. It's a pure, human need.

i think in the end furries will always win. in whatever time it takes i think people are going to realize anthropomorphism is so deeply ingrained in us as creatures that to even invent a hatred of the concept to begin with is like hating the concept of telling stories or singing or dancing

my favorite animal ever is probably cats / rabbits!! cats just becuz i cant choose anything else as a #1. ive always loved cats and i own 4!! such wonderful critters :3
rabbits/hares are my second #1 favorite. i love them so much and love to use them to represent me!! also jackalopes even though they arent real. rabbits/hares at #2!!

i wanted to share this piece that i started in july 2024 and finished in august 2024! it is a redraw of an art piece i made in 2019, and then redrawn 2 more times before this one!
the original scene is so far back i don’t know entirely the context. the tan tabby cat is sunraven, a medicine cat. her clan is in troubling times and she is heading to the moonstone(or whatever equivalent i might have in this universe lol). and the cat behind her, is frostfang. they are from another clan and has been tasked with murdering sunraven. i don’t remember anything about why, or what was happening in the story. here are the previous redraws and the original! they are under the read more thingy.

i love hollyleaf! in my warriors re-read i’m on The Darkest Hour, and i wanted to do this when i got to Power of Three but i felt so happy at this that i’m figuring i’ll do another drawing maybe when i get to PoT!!
i may make a more solid design for hollyleaf, and others, when i’m feeling better. but for now i just went wild :3

YAY YAY gorsepaw !! win!!!!!
thank you guys for the love on my previous post it made me so happy! i felt motivated to draw again so i drew gorsepaw. i’m now on rising storm in my warrior cats reread! huzzah!! i’m still figuring out a style for myself 😭 ive had some sort of artblock for like nearly 10 months.
gorsepaw is an orange and white tabby. whoever says otherwise is wrong and will face the wrath of my one hundred miscellaneous insects.
