Vampires VS Hunters AU

Originally a Stutters thing, but I got excited and made designs for all characters involved jhagjk

The Goths are Vampire Hunters and are trying to eliminate the South Park Vampire Society. Stan is their newest recruit who's looking for Butters who's gone missing and Kenny is teetering on joining because his Sister is missing as well and he suspects the Vamps are trying to convert her.

Butters is the newest Vampire to be converted; thus, he's feral and cannot control his bloodlust properly, he has memory lapses where he sees red and attacks people, but he's still the same and feels guilt when hurting others, Stan doesn't want him to be killed and wants to find a way to reverse the Vampiric transformation.

Karen is friends with Mike and wants to join the Vamp Coven because they offer her a family, strength, and never going hungry again, but she's unsure, so she stays human, but lives with them, she misses her family.

Icarus Kyle and Sun Stan thoughts are hurting me rn…

In the wars, Kyle thinks he can outmanoeuvre fate itself. He constructs feathers from facts and wax from willpower. Too clever for caution. Too stubborn for surrender.

Stan beckons him higher. Stan might be cursed to pay his father’s debts to Zeus in the form of labour, but this doesn’t stop the son of Apollo from dazzling Kyle. It doesn’t cost him his radiance – his soft edges, his scarred hands.

Kyle wonders why he can’t go higher. Why he and Stan can’t be together. Admiration turns to protective recklessness, wax melts in the hands of the gods.

The moment before the fall is the sweetest. Suspended in brilliance, the son of Athena almost believes he belongs in the sky. Then, the wax softens, the wings falter, he – and his hubris – plummet.

It is believed that the sun reached out for Icarus as he fell. Only, as a fat ball of gas, it couldn’t do much.

Stan – a demigod – can.

He does.

Kyle isn’t Icarus. He doesn’t crash into the sea when he falls away from his sun. The boy who chased Stan’s light is the same boy that had them both plummet into the world’s darkest pit.

I wanted to do something more elaborate, but I wasn't sure how to make it without ruining the original plan, so I tried something a bit different. My stupid white pen decided to die on me while I was writing... this betrayal is too much, I hope it's visible enough!

i kind of super dont relate to the idea that early innocent butters was "taken" from us and/or that hes "ruined" now that hes a much worse person. i actually think that "formerly nice, sweet boy who was the victim of so much abuse, both from his family and greater society, that he started to direct all his negative feelings into hating an easy target (women) instead of acknowledging who and what actually hurt him in the first place (eg, the homophobes who tried to conversion therapy him) because that requires greater effort and what he wants is quick relief and the catharsis of hate" to be probably the most realistic instance of character development in the entire show. its happening right now as we speak!

Bunny is so fucking wild because we've genuinely seen them interact one-on-one in only ONE episode, and the rest we know about their canon dynamic is all background information, implications and cinematic themes. And yet we can put them together like puzzle pieces and it all tells the subtlest story of an extremely sweet and versatile dynamic.

Kenny is the only one Butters genuinely respects? Well, that must've come from SOMEWHERE. Butters had a secret crush on Princess Kenny? Dropped like a bomb the size of a crumb in the middle of the game. Kenny and Butters seen sitting next to each other in many school assemblies? Shows they like to choose each other's presence in day-to-day moments. Professor Chaos and Mysterion? The two most significant vigilante/villain personas in the show, and implied to be exclusive archenemies bc no one really cared about the C**n.

They grow up to be business partners? Close enough friends that Butters funded Kenny's projects and Kenny gave him exclusive access to his research? That can't have just been a casual dynamic founded on convenience. Butters taking Kenny's place when Kenny was gone? Don't even get me started on the fact that they're the two characters in South Park most often forgotten & left behind by those closest to them
