"Your daughter is doing great. Her—no, your family is doing great. They've encountered many hardships, and some have traveled along to the new home with them, but I know you'd be proud of the people they've become."
She chuckles.
"I uh… proposed to Tera. We're engaged now. Kiara too. Seeing her with Ai reminds me of how Uzi was with her, so I'm sure you would smile seeing it.
