Hawks extreme angst (kinda)

-hello, this is after hawks and Dabi fight in season six. This is my AU. Haven’t seen it, YOU SHOULD! please follow, means a lot!-

Hawks coughed harshly. He woke up in a… hospital? But he remembered being knocked out in the Fight! The fight! Is Tokoyami ok? He must be if he was in the hospital and not out cold on the field. Or worse, dead. Would he have died if not for Tokoyami?? He was such a failure of a hero. Fire as a weakness? He was pathetic.

hawks spent the rest of the day contemplating whether fire is an ok weakness or no. Was he a failure or no. He was thinking until- Tokoyami came in and convinced him it wasn’t his fault and he did a great thing for society.
