Dear authors, you should really stop putting "x reader" in your OC insert fics because it's a self insert of YOUR character and not that of the reader. I understand you want attention on the post, but it's completely misstagging the story and is quite frankly frustrating and annoying. Yeah, some readers may adapt to it, but some absolutely can not. sometimes I'm just living life and having a chill time and then out of no where I'll remember that when Peter Capaldi found out he was the new Doctor, he went to Forbidden Planet multiple times and would lurk behind people (and though he didn't officially say so) - I imagine was trying to telepathically communicate purely through vibes that he was The Doctor

because that is of course a completely normal and chill thing to do and wouldn't at all be a jump scare to turn around a find a random 6ft dude with features that could cut glass and the eyes of the Night King looming over you silently while trying to bore a hole into your skull purely out of excitement that he was finally getting to play a character he's loved since he was 6yrs old
