How to disable a robot dog if it attacks you by Hoog
trans. rights. are. human. rights.
Lots of CBT therapists claim that reducing the patient to an incoherent sobbing mess every session is how therapy is supposed to work. Lots of them sit there smiling proudly when they torment a patient past coherent thought, and they make no effort to support or stabilize that patient. Same energy as a child burning ants with a magnifying glass. Except that in this case, the child is claiming that the ants are responsible for the fire actually, and that they can stop being on fire if they ~*~*~*jUsT bE MiNdFuL*~*~*~ while doing a bunch of pointless fucking worksheets.
If CBT feels abusive to you, then it IS. It can be very invalidating to people with PTSD/c-PTSD, chronic pain, and other conditions because it refuses to acknowledge the real world, instead framing everything as the patient's silly little delusions. If this feels like your situation, then the bravest thing you can do is end therapy and remove yourself. You deserve compassionate help, not another predator enjoying your pain.
If you've been harmed by cbt, I see you. You're valid, and you do not deserve to be subjected to more clumsy attempts. Just because The System(TM) claims cbt is a magical perfect cure for all mental troubles doesn't mean that's true for you, in your current place and time. I wish you strength and patience in all things, but especially in finding a healing path that respects you as a person.
To all the other childfree and antinatalist people: you're doing great. Keep following your path, lit by your own inner light.
Cierian ergonomic gaming chairs for dragons more resemble recliners than typical human chairs. While they come in many shapes to accommodate different body types, this one is designed for long and noodly eastern bodies. The main body of the chair has support for a naturally curved spine and keeps the dragon's body in the most ideal and comfortable position.
Fancy chairs like these are hard to come by, due to stickman and faun technology prioritizing bipeds over obligate quadrupeds like most dragons. There are a few organizations in MicFortress dedicated to replicating stickfigure technology to be used by dragons. Exports from the city are common for dragons and dragon communities, but they aren't easy to get your hands on due to the price and near monopoly MicFortress has on the tech.
dandelions are magic. literally tiny suns in the grass that turn into the moon and then the stars when you blow on them. fucking insane.

Bookshelf quilt is done. It's a good scrap buster, but really good to use with a layer cake. Lots of Felicity, Kaffe, and more in there. The tchotchkes are applique.
The top row right int he center are my Ina Garten cookbooks, same color values as the books themselves. The taller white book with gold, red and gray is America's Test Kitchen.
so what i’ve collected over the past few years is:
So I've seen a lot of talk about pain scales. How there should be a special one for chronic pain patients or people who say they're 11 out of 10, etc.
The thing with pain scales though, they are supposed to be about the bodies reaction to pain. A pain scale is supposed to be about how to appropriately treat a patient. So if a person is a 10 from something you'd be a 6, their pain still needs to be treated in accordance to how it feels for the patient (in a perfect world). Your 5 may be another person's 9 but that's beyond the point. 10 is still the peak for the worst pain possible you can handle. Pain where you black out and can't speak. Where you go into shock. Where you can't do anything but lay there locked in agony. That is the peak for anyone period because that's where the body taps out. There shouldn't be extra numbers for chronic pain patients or anything. It defeats the purpose of pain scales. A good pain scale is about physical reactions with the body.
No pain scale is perfect but doctors need some way to gauge how to treat a patient. This one is the one I prefer the most because it is about the body's physical reaction to pain and the treatment for it.
a new acrylic painting of mine :) called "Sparrow"
I love to use my disability “as an excuse.” Fuck yeah my disability is an excuse. It’s the most valid excuse I have. I’m not helping you lift that box/etc because my disability would make it fucking painful. Not wanting to be in pain is a good enough reason. I’m not going to put myself in pain to comfort your sensibilities.
Yes I’m using my disability as an excuse because I refuse to hurt myself for you. If you’re mad about it you can cry! ❤️
A dragon without kobolds is like a human without a taxes. We think. We don't actually know what a "taxes" is, we just hear humans bring them up all the time. We assume this is some kind of small creature.
Happy disability pride month to those who didn’t realize they were in pain till later in life

Happy disability pride month to every disabled person!!
I know the joke is that Ghost Trick fans can't tell you why to play it, just that you should, but here's some spoiler-free reasons to play it:
It's an incredible puzzle game. The puzzles are basically Rube-Goldberg machines, where you manipulate objects in a series to effect change in the overall situation. Do you like complex mechanisms and the concept of the butterfly effect? Play this.
The basic gameplay: you are a ghost. You have the ability to posses and manipulate objects, and move from object to object. Someone bas died. You can go to four minutes before their death to change their fate using your Rube Goldberg powers. Also! The puzzles do a great job of ramping you up in difficulty and teaching you the gameplay, but wow do they get HARD in late game. You can replay any puzzle, and also rewind time as you wish. You can't lock yourself out of things by doing it wrong, since you can redo.
The story is SO GOOD. There's a reason why everyone tells you as little as possible -- it's a compelling mystery that sucks you in. The basic idea: you are dead. You need to figure out who you are and who killed you. This spins out into a tale of political intrigue.
It's by Shu Takumi, the creator of Ace Attorney. It has very similar vibes, in that it's absolutely bonkers characters and situations but also WILL make you cry once it's all revealed. Great mix of serious and humorous tones. Seriously, someone dies when a giant roast chicken statue falls on them and the root cause is because of [serious political events]
The aesthetics. Great music, great character design, have you SEEN what the game looks like? Really good use of color and stylization. Character animations are often hilarious.
Missile is there. You WILL love bestest boy. Don't google him. Just trust.
Happy Ghost Trick rerelease day!
Finished, scanned, removed a lot of cat hair digitally~. Will add it to the print store soon too. :)

Here’s a video so you can hear the water and the thrushes. I took it for you because you couldn’t be there. <3
*it may not seem like I can be, but seeing that someone needed to hear it and so they let me say it makes me so so proud. It’s a bit of an oroboros but we’re ignoring that. <3
