Tsuritama being basically lost media sucks SO MUCH

It's literally one of my favorite animes of all time. Maybe The favorite anime of all time. And I can't recommend it to people because it's nowhere to be found online.

Crunchyroll lost the license literally in the middle of me watching it (for millionth time) in 2020. I'm lucky I scored a bluray on ebay, and I bought that before I even had a machine that could play blurays.

It's so weird bc tumblr was just celebrating its 10th anniversary 2 years ago. And like 3 years before that I participated in a charity zine with a ton of amazingly talented artists. I don't expect a weird little stand alone anime to stay relevant forever, but now it doesn't even have a chance at gaining new fans.

Anyway I fucking love this show. The second half of it makes me bounce off the walls. If I don't watch it at least once a year (usually in april) I will lose it. I will wither. It's only 12 episodes so I'm able to feel the full spectrum of human emotion in a single sitting if I want to.

Tbh i've heard much worse in music and DESTROYA has such beautiful lyrics, to me its a very revolutionary song: it refers deeply to anyone that feels alone and Ostrichized by the people around them, people who feel like they arent welcomed anywhere on this earth and only have themselves, its an anthem about individuality, rising and being stronger, as strong as you need to be to confront this world and what it thinks about you, to destroy the obstacles people and the world put you Through.

So i find it very inspirational, and sweet!! Its like the song is saying "Ehy, you are stronger than them, and remember, you are never alone.

Find people like you and arise together to fight your common enemies and who wants to erase you" at least thats my interpretation!! I made mlp designs based on my hcs and my idea for an au of them, honestly I'm very proud of the results... I still need to improve some things but I think they turned out pretty well!♡ (Btw some things may be wrong regarding cultures since I'm not from them and I tried to inform myself, but if this information is not correct I would appreciate a correction!) Besides this being a REALLY cool fanart, i think we should normalize again potraying nudity, art is one of the most malleable tools we have as humans and it is one of the only places where nudity isnt entirely sexual, but can be as disgusting and as pure as the artists decides, It can tell A LOT about a character since the relationship with our bodies is one of the most intimate we have, and a reflection of our mind.
