Being insane but cognitively aware of how insane you are is a special kind of hell because you know that you aren't normal and you can pinpoint the behaviors that label you as other and make people kinda go quiet and twitchy around you but you can't change them or your neurosis so you're stuck in a brutal cycle of trying to emulate normal people and failing horribly cus you know in theory how normal people look and act but in practice you can never change what you are and everyone else knows it too and this goes on forever until you die

Wacky Tumblr challenge. Level: IMPOSSIBLE
Part 1: Compare a transgender woman's appearance or voice to another woman
Part 2 (BEYOND HUMAN CAPABILITIES): don't describe a transgender woman's appearance or voice by comparing it to a famous cisgender man, and then slap a "but a woman version" onto it
ive found that partially treated mental illness can sometimes look to uninvolved onlookers like faked mental illness.
my most peaceful hobby is storm watching, especially at night. a few nights ago, three storms converged overhead. one to the south, one to the east, and one directly on top of me. the fog settled in over half the city below, some lights distinct and others muddled together, bright under the fog. the night and the clouds obscured the mountains to the east, but when lightning cracked through it illuminated the entire range from behind. what happened over those mountains that night? the mist never gives up her mysteries. id like to think it was storm giants

I decided to delete that shitposting of Sol because I didn't asked the artist if I could use their image, so this is probably a good decision. Plus, it had 0 interaction on the post, which actually made me a little frustated because I was sure it was a banger.

Look, if you suspect that someone has done a joke edit of an image, but you can't see the difference, don't sit there playing Where's Waldo; load the original image and the suspected edit up in separate tabs with identical zoom levels, and rapidly toggle back and forth between them. Don't even look for anything in particular – just flip them back and forth as fast as you can. Even single-pixel discrepancies will immediately become obvious. Make the human brain's fuckass pattern recognition work for you rather than against you!
