Explore the world, one post at a time
Dog snuffles Door, enters, mind on warm hands and room for little else
She turns- “How could it shut behind my cheerful tail!”
And so she cries, fear and confusion
And so we go,
She rushes in, I shepherd her out
She knows no world in which she leads herself. Only one where exists my feet to walk by, voice to comfort, presence to fix
And so I fix
I latch That Door
And save her from her own simplicity
I am bitter.
