Explore the world, one post at a time
So i just noticed the lightning on my Manga shelf being PERFECT and i decided to have a photo shoot of dear Sanemi
bro looks majestic 🙏
Genya Shinazugawa was born in January, when the frosts were already raging outside the walls of their modest home. But he never felt the cold of winter.
How could he, if from the moment he was born, his brother's hands warmed him? He was with his dear older brother more often than with his mother, who went to any part-time job to have money for food and some minimum of things, but little Genya, whose hair was the color of a raven's wing, like a bird, who flew past their house on the day of his birth, smiled so brightly at Sanemi that the elder one thought that there was no cold outside.
How could it be cold when the real sun was sitting on his hands? An eclipse, but full of warmth.
They were similar, but at the same time they were opposites.
And Genya was often so upset about this in childhood, because, of course, he wanted to be like his beloved older brother!
They had the same eyes, similar build, even if Genya hadn't caught up with his brother in height yet, but he was always upset about the color of his hair.
"Aniki, why isn't my hair white like yours? You were born almost in winter too, why is my hair black?" little Genya whined quietly as he and Sanemi sat alone at home one night, waiting for their mother, happy to be out of their father's sight.
Sanemi smiled softly at the question and gently wiped away his little brother's tears, hugging him tighter and gently rocking in place as he pondered the question.
"Because when I was born, winter had just descended on the earth, and our house was the first one it came to, and kissed my hair, so it's white, not like yours or your mom and dad's. And when you were born, there was an eclipse in the sky. The moon covered the sun, and so you were kissed by the shadow of the moon, making your hair like this. I remember seeing your hair white for a few moments," Sanemi says with a mysterious smile, while his heart warms at the sight of Genya listening to him with sincere trust and surprise.
Even if it's just a little fiction to entertain his little brother and calm him down by explaining their differences.
Even if it's not true.
"I... Kissed by the Eclipse?"
"Yes, Genya."
The first time I saw Gyomei (it was art, I haven't gotten to his part in the anime yet) I was like "Yo Guts, log out"
oh my god
the only thing inside my head rn is uni and spiderman-sanemi
I feel like I've been a bit deprived of demons in my work, so is there anyone in particular you'd like me to write about? Feel free, I love all the Upper Moons!
Continuation of this post, as you have been waiting! Sanemi can't see color.
The question seems strange and unexpected to Giyuu, for a moment he wants to ask Sanemi himself what it is for, but such unexpected joy in the form of a simple act of communication overshadows this thought, forcing him to answer a few seconds later.
"Dark blue."
Dark blue…
Sanemi barely restrains himself from swallowing, so that the movements of his Adam's apple do not give away how this answer excites him, making his veins tense.
Dark blue, like the ocean itself, he thinks. Like the evening sky before it is covered by rain clouds, like the waves of the sea that he saw a couple of times as a child and was simply amazed by the beauty and powerful force of water. Perhaps like those precious stones, sapphires, that he saw in the hairpins of wealthy ladies that sometimes came across in the neighborhood where his family lived. Dark blue, just like that strange blue tea, anchan, if his memory served him right.
The Wind Pillar clutches the hilt of the katana on his hip, trying to calm his wild imagination, which still remembered the colors he had seen as a child.
Oh, Buddha, how he wanted to see the eyes of that idiot Tomioka now.
To see if the blue of his eyes could shine. Had his eyes ever shined before? He thought so, yes, it was possible.
Sanemi stares at Giyuu so hard that Giyuu tilts his head uncertainly in silent question, not understanding what he had done wrong in answering the question. And Sanemi himself continues to study those confused eyes, their depth and shades of gray, imagining what they really were.
He so wants to believe that they are the deepest color of the purest sapphires, like in the fairy tales he told his siblings.
Yes… These are the kind of eyes that the Water Pillar should have.
"I wish I could see them." He whispers, causing Giyuu to involuntarily look away, embarrassed and unsure of what it was, while the Wind Pillar grins, baring his fangs.
don't ask-
The day after tomorrow I will write a continuation of "Sanemi doesn't see color"
I look at Giyuu and realize that I want to devour him and kiss him at the same time My sweet, silly water boy…
Cat-Sanemi teaches Cat-Giyu to enjoy life
Sanemi doesn't see color.
He lost the colors of this world when he first had to take up arms, and he never saw this world again.
Everything seemed as if it was an eternal cold winter. Everything was gray, faded, and dead, no matter where he looked.
He looked at the sky, but he no longer saw its azure purity.
He caught cherry blossom petals in his palms and looked at them for a long time, tracing the outline and delicacy of the veins of the flower with his pads, but he did not see what the cherry blossoms were like this year.
He sat on a tree branch, looking at the setting sun over the mountains and forest cover, but all he saw in the sky was a scribble of gray shades.
He often thought that he would gradually forget the colors.
If only, if only... if only they did not dream of him.
Rarely, fleetingly, but he clung to that moment every time in his dreams, keeping it in his memory...
He had never seen what color Tomioka's eyes were.
Of course, he hadn't seen any of the colors of the other Pillars. Not their hair, not their clothes, not their eyes. He knew that Gyomei was blind. He knew that Obanai had two different eye colors, and that the right one was almost blind. He knew that Kyoujuro's eyes always shone. He knew that Muichiro's eyes often stopped at something without thinking, empty.
So why did Giyuu's dark, dull even eyes catch his attention?
"Tomioka..." the question hangs in the air as Shinazugawa stares at the Water Pillar, narrowing his eyes slightly, making a soft tsking sound as the Water Pillar tilts his head to the side in a silent question.
"What... color are your eyes?..."
Oh, FUCK, I'M NOT SLEEPING, AM I?-
So, I had a pretty interesting dream today, but a little backstory.
I'm a big fan of Stardew Valley and Demon Slayer, so sometimes in my dreams my stupid fish brain mixes the two into one, and two or three months ago that's what happened.
That time, I dreamed that I started a new game on a farm, sowing radishes, and with me was… Obanai.
This is very unexpected. Obanai is one of my favorite characters, without a doubt, I like his design, history and personality, I understand him and his arc in many ways, although I don't interact with him or mention him that often. So, I dream that I am gardening with the Serpent Pillar, having a nice and warm discussion about what we should do in the fall season so that we have enough resources for the winter for us and the animals… No one has ever looked at me with such warmth and understanding as in that dream.
And so, today I dreamed again that I was walking down the streets of Pelican City, and I met him. I think he said that he went out to buy something for our farm, and he felt embarrassed that I caught him doing it.
*covers his face in embarrassment*
I don't want to wake up.
I, having just calmed down after three years in the Bionicle fandom, where I developed Matau (a silly bird) in many AUs, after re-watching Night Watch, warmly remembering Soren and the emotions he brought me as a child, after watching mha, admiring Hawk, sit down to watch kny: So, well, everything will be calm here Urogi: *appears* Me, tearing apart the pillow: FUCKING BIRD
Why are there still no mods for Stardew Valley with characters from kny??? Don't you want to make a small Japanese house and have a Pillar husband? liar.

The most fun thing in life is naming boards from pinterest MINE SOUND JUST HORRIBLE
Scarred idiot Genya baby boy Rock boner Tit Light WATER DADDY Boar BIRD
I will cry if you try to guess which of these boards is about whom
Sanemi would be thrilled with the Hollow Knight
Another funny situation in my life.
My friend is quite sensitive if you stroke his head and the back of his head, and he can pass out in about five seconds, and in a very deep sleep.
Literally, I made him fall asleep like that three times in one hour.
So…
PLEASE, STROKE THE GENYA ON HIS HEAD, ARGH, GRRRAH, MY BABY, I WANT TO SQUEEZE HIM IN MY HANDS AND NEVER LET GO
I think Genya hates his demon eating ability.
He wants to fight fair and square, with his own strength, and he hates every time he has to take demon flesh just to survive and keep fighting.
He hates the taste of demon flesh, he would rather drink poison, but that's the only way he can survive and heal his wounds.
Genya hates it.
So, I had a lot of nightmares today, but among all this horror there was room for something good.
Who knew that Genya had enough strength to lift me in his arms...
At such moments I never want to wake up.
Sanemi Shinazugawa was born at the end of autumn, on the day when winter leaves.
Sanemi Shinazugawa was born on the day when winter stepped onto the land and kissed him on the top of his head, dyeing his hair the whiteness of snow.
Sanemi was born when the cold enveloped Japan, leaving no room for the weak, and little Sanemi, who did not even cry in his mother's arms when she could not feed him at times, survived. His thirst for life, for light, was stronger than any frost and bone-chilling wind when he was still a baby.
Sanemi Shinazugawa caught snowflakes with his little hands while growing up among the blizzard and cold, he was strong despite the frost.
Sanemi Shinazugawa - a man kissed by winter.
