hi darling! thank you for trusting my taste in alastor fics lol.

one specific fic that actually rekindled my love for hazbin after s1 episodes started being released was @elleinmotion's "what's your frequency, baby?" fic. i've been reading that since she posted chapter 6, and the way she writes vox, alastor, and the mc makes my head spin and heart throb. cannot praise that fic enough!!! i truly adore everything about it and can talk about how much i love it for hours on end.

another fic i'm obsessed with is "love can kill,". this one hasn't been updated in almost a year but i literally reread it at least once a month because it's so (so!) good. additionally, i recommend this ao3 fic if you're looking for a completed story!

@minkdelovely's "love and power" fic is purely phenomenal and i binged it in one sitting.

i also have a slight obsession for @xalygatorx's human!al x assistant!reader one shot. i've read this one single story several times because it's just too good.

if you want tumblr accounts as well, i particularly enjoy rereading the masterlists of these legends: @hazelfoureyes, @fraugwinska, @redfoxwritesstuff, @redvexillum, @sugoi-writes, @safination, and @tune-on-in-folks. there are simply so many talented writers in this fandom, it'll be super easy finding fics you enjoy!

i will disclaim that, because i am an infinite vacuum for alastor x reader stories, i have a tendency to read so many fics that i end up losing track of some of my favorites. there are, unfortunately, a few that live rent-free in my mind, but despite searching far and wide, i haven’t been able to find them again. my best recommendation is to hit up the alastor/reader tag on either ao3 or tumblr and start scrolling from the most recent!

Can I request Husk napping with his kits? Like his s/o comes looking for them and finds them all on the floor fast asleep? The kits using Husk's wings as a blanket, they're little heads barely poking out, and all four cats demons purring softly in their sleep.

It was nice to have a day off but that wasn't about to stop you from missing your children and husband, biting back a yawn you stepped in your home glancing around trying to find them.

"I'm home!"

Not getting an answer, you frowned checking each room though once you reached the children's room your heart melted at the scene.

Husk lying on the ground, his chest rising and falling indicating that he was a sleep, the three kits nestled beneath his wings. You'd had to look closely to see them, their tiny little heads poking through. Husk's deep purr in contrast to the purrs escaping your children's tiny little bodies.

Smiling, you shook your head shrugged off the coat only to lay down next to him. One of Husk's eyes snapping open as he quickly drew you into his chest as he gave the top of your head a kiss trying not to wake the kits . "Hey beautiful."

Humming, you smiled nuzzling your face into his chest letting yourself fall asleep. "Hey handsome."

So most people would know me from the era on tumblr where hazbin hotel was trending, or for my Mr. Puzzles work, but to put it simply, my x reader fanfiction. I went on hiatus around late june, early july (ish?) and then mid july deactivated my account.

I wouldn’t have made a post about it if not for all of my almost 5,000 followers who I totally disappeared on without any explanation. I know my work meant a lot to some people, and even if I grew to dislike it myself, I shouldn’t have just deleted it all.

To keep it vague, i’ve had a really hard time lately, I got really paranoid and kinda freaked out, ended up deleting my account without much thought - not my best choice. Juggling my mental illness got really hard, and the safest option in my head at the time was disappearing like… everywhere.

Honestly, not expecting much of a reaction to this post, but if anyone’s looking for me I thought I could say something. Thinking about opening requests again if you guys are willing to have me back, in the light of the new umbrella academy season and the second coming of the gravity falls fandom.

- let me tell you just how excited this man is…he has never had a tea party before, and when you explain it to him, he’s more than stoked! Everything has to be perfect.

- he dresses his best for this date even if it's just a casual thing. He's so nervous about fucking it up even if you say it's fine.

- he brings all the finest teas hell has to offer even if you insist on it not being necessary.

- he’s such a gentleman, decorating with your favorite flowers and bringing your favorite pastries to share. He's so in love with you it isn't even funny. He stopped wearing his wedding ring when you came into his life.

- did I mention that the tea cups he has are all duck-themed? Yeah… he just loves ducks so much.

- Lucifer will ask if everything is up to your standard because he’s nervous that he didn't do it right.

- he has so much fun with this tea party! It lasts hours and the two of you dance together as some soft melodies play in the background.

- he sings songs for you during this date as well, he’s such a hopeless romantic, but you love it.

- by the time everything is said and done and everything is cleaned up, he can't wait for the next tea party date, maybe he’ll make it a weekly occurrence, he had so much fun!

- next time he’ll invite his daughter, only if you allow it, of course, he will love to spend time with his two favorite people after all ♡

“Lucifer you really didn't need to do all of this….” your voice called out quietly as you felt blood rush to your cheeks. It was a gorgeous display of flowers, pastries, and wonderful-smelling teas. Neatly lined out for the choosing.

“Oh but I did my dearest apple!” he gave a sharp-toothed grin. He didn't believe in anything less than extravagant. You let out a soft giggle as you approached the king arms wrapping around his shoulders as you pulled him in, placing a kiss on his cheek. “It's lovely…thank you.” Lucifer was over the moon at the gesture. His arms wrapped around your waist pulling you flush against his body “Of course mi amor…” he murmured kissing you softly.

If you aren’t writing for Hazbin then please feel free to ignore this! I remember seeing somewhere that you wanted Adams teen!reader and Alastors teen!reader to meet, and I was thinking they would maybe meet during the next extermination. I don't remember if I made a Vox teen/reader but...

I imgaine Vox's to be a soft spoken person (the opposite of Vox)

They like to stay behind the screen and make themselves usueful in anyway possible to the Vees

V!reader (imma call them Vee) is more timid then A!reader when they first meet Vee was intimidated by them even though reader actually wanted to talk but misunderstood and thought Vee was being standoffish and stuck up so they don't like them

A few times after that Vee started to think reader was just rude

Every time they meet its never friendly, reader always starts the arguments and ends while while Vee defends themself

Now moving onto the scenario

EPI 2: video killed the radio star

*Alaster and reader are walking out the tailor to see Vox's spectical on the tv. Alaster sighs and continues down the street while reader goes to take a closer look when they see Vee*

A- Aw I thought I unplugged you. *looks up and down* You're clearly still defective, I can help with that

Vee- *sigh* 7 years was far too much luck in this hellhole.

A- You must've missed me if you've been counting

Vee- oh please the only thing I miss is the silence before you started talking

A- Silence? With that staic up there talking shit

Vee- He's just saying what were all thinking

Vee was taken a back but when they when to speak they were cut off by Alastor on the radio.

This is gonna be a short and sweet.

They dead. Both of them. Couldn't even see all of hell cause once alastor knew they were down there he hunting them.

They didn't even get to she Charlie's commercial.

But let's say he didn't kill them and they showed up at the hotel.

You were probably in your room when they pleaded to Charlie for redemption to which Charlie obviously accepted.

Alastor was plotting to kill them the moment he saw them. They recognized him and tried to apologize but he was hearing none of that.

By the time you came down stairs you wished you never left the comfort of you room. You vividly remember when you were alive, its not easy to forget.

Your parents practically threw themselves at your feet apologizing but you didn't believe them.

It developed into a small argument and Charlie tried her best to resolve it while husk and angel watch from the couch with a bucket of popcorn.

In the end they died.

The game you've been playing, Honkai Star Rail (or anything else), had recently had an update and you wanted to catch up on the story quest. You got comfortable with snacks and blankets before diving into the game.

The last time you looked at the time it was 9:00pm.

It's currently 6:50am when you heard a knock on your door. You ignore it.

"I'm coming in." Alastor sang as he opened your door. You were buried under a mountain of blankets and pillows. You peeked out and saw Alastor sit on the side of your bed.

"We're making a new commercial for the hotel."

"Okay and?"

"You're going to be in it."

You reluctantly got up and followed him down stairs. Vaggie was more excited than usual as she approached you.

"This won't take long. If you cooperate, you'll be back to doing nothing in no time." She said sarcastically.

"Ya' know your tone was why people think you're a bi- you're mean." You have to stop yourself from cursing cause Alastor doesn't like it. He says it's improper. Alastor's smile widened at your self-restraint.

"A-n-yway let's make the commercial." She pulled you into her side and turned to face the other who, other than Nifty, looked unimpressed.

Charlie came back just in time to see the commercial air - before it was interrupted.

"YOU GOTTA BE FUCKING KIDDING!" You jumped up from your spot on the couch.

"Nice restraint Y/n."

"I smiled and everything." You whined while dramatically leaning over his lap.

"I know and it was such a lovely smile. You should smile more." He successfully comforted you.

"That was a smile? If I were alive and saw that I would've thought I you were the grim reaper." Angel laughed. You quickly sat up and glared at him.

"At least I was moaning every line."

"I was entertaining. The only thing you had going for you was your 'smile'. "

"Both of you shut up we can't hear the tv."

Angels are tough but anyone who crossed your path literally didn't see you coming. You were surrounded by a bunch of dead angels with more coming when they suddenly stopped and started to retreat.

The battle was over.

You were out of breath with minor injuries, so you decided to lie down.

"Get up." An unrecognizable voice said causing you to jump up with (weapon of choice) in hand. You were surprised to see a wounded Alastor clutching his staff. Now broken staff

"Are you-"

"Follow me."

You followed him to his destroyed radio tower. He shoved the two pieces of his staff if your hands.

"Fix it." He said as he started to descend into madness.

You looked down at the staff and then back up at him. He was clearly losing his mind, and you knew why but if you brought it up while he was like this he would surely kill you. So you tried to lighten the mood.

"I'm not a miracle worker." You joked but Alastor didn't even hear you, he was too deep into how to get out of his contract.

So you get to work on his staff but it's easier said than done. The easy part is fixing the staff itself and making the microphone work, the hard part is putting the magic that it once held back in it.

After fixing the staff itself Alastor got himself together and brought the both of you to the others. His attitude did a complete 180.

You opened a portal for them to fly down. The massacre begins.

Your first and only stop was the hotel. You flew straight through the ceiling and landed in the atrium with Lute right behind you.

You heard a collective gasp and chuckled, "Wow... I like what you've done with the place." You spun around as you looked at the place, it really did look a lot better since the last time you've been there. Too bad you were gonna ruin it.

You looked back at the crew and made eye contact with Lucifer.

"Who's too young now bitch." You said through gritted teeth before getting yourself ready to attack.

"Still you." He joked.

Without a second thought, you went straight for him.

I got this idea while rereading Chainsaw Man but imagine Azazel has the power to take away one’s free will.

One’s freedom.

Obviously he doesn’t like this power of his and only use it when absolutely needed but I like to imagine that heavens elders originally paired him and Lucifer up as partners or something as a way to keep Lucifer on a leash by using Azazel, but instead they became best friends who support one another.

Azazel and Lucifer once again found themselves on trial for causing trouble. Again

"Azazel, Lucifer" The elder sighed while pinching the bridge of his nose, "What on earth have you done?" (he meant that literally)

Azazel looked towards Lucifer to see him shaking his head.

*flashback*

Lucifer and Azazel were walking around the clean streets of heaven when Lucifer had an idea. "Azazel, You have the power to take away free will right?" Azazel nodded. "Why don't we give free will to Adam and Eve." "How would we do that." "The tree of knowledge," Lilith said, startling you. She came out of nowhere. "The two of you talked about this?" Azazel questioned, looking between the two of them. "Yeah, They only get to see the garden while there is a whole world. Don't you think that they should know about it?" "I mean yeah-" He thought for a moment, "Yeah let's do it."

*flashback over*

'Fuuuuuck we're so skewed' He thought as Sera brought in Lilith.

"Uuuh... Nothing, sir. We were just checking on Adam and Eve." He half-lied. Azazel and Lucifer did go down to earth to check on Adam and Eve.

"Do not lie to ME. I know what the both of you have done. Adam and Eve changed their behaviors, wearing clothes, and hiding themselves from God. So I ask you again, What. Did. You. Do."

This time Lucifer answered, "Humans deserve to have control over their own life. All we did was give them a choice."

At his confession, the holy council gasped.

"A bit of an over-reaction don't ya think." Lucifer whispered to Azazel causing him to chuckle.

"This is not a laughing matter. Both of you have disrupted the balance that we have been working hard on for the last time." He gestured to Lilith and Lucifer, "The elders of heaven have Unanimously decided on the banishment of Azazel Yahweh, Lucifer Morningstar, and Lilith effective immediately." The elder snapped his fingers and created a portal to which the three of you were sucked into.

It was similar to earth, but no one was there.

It was the start of hell.

If Vox isn't around to calm down Val and Velvette you're the next best thing. Valentino can talk your ears off as much as he wants and Velvette can use you as a model

In hell you can travel through electronics like Vox

Most of your time is spent with Velvette and Vox, mainly Vox. Vox has you do a lot of work that he trusts no one else with like going to the overlord meetings when no one else wants to

You are genuinely nice, like the other overlords wonder why you're working with the Vees

Your room doesn't have a door, so to get to your room you have to go through electronics to a backroom type of place. It's still in the Vees tower but no one but you or Vox and get to it.

Vox made it like this so if you wanted to be unbothered no one could even knock on your door.

"Well since I'm free why don't we work on your mega computer." He offered. He likes how your face lit up and without wasting a second you dragged him to one of the quietest rooms in the building. In it was a desktop with a few wires connected to it.

Your mega computer was a project you started after you sold your soul. You hope it can connect to heaven one day and who is Vox to stop you.

Right across from your room is Alma's. She's going into her preteen years and started to spend more time in her room. Your mother says she's adjusting to becoming a woman and needs her time alone. She's also becoming very snappy.

You slowly opened your door to stare at hers. You slowly walk into the hallway and up to her door. You knock three time and wait for a responce. She didn't open the door.

"I heard Atticus." Her voice was horse and strained but you believed what your mother told you.

That was all you needed to get yourself ready.

That night went smoothly until your father got home. He didn't like the fact that your mother was in her workspace with a man and the door closed, even if he was a client.

It caused fighting -well more than there normally is anyway- between your mother and father. It's always been easy to make your father mad.

It got worse when Alastor took notice of it he came by more often with the excuse of having gifts for you and your siblings.

He gave you a radio to listen to him when he went on air. Atticus was offered a job at the radio station. Alma got a set of jewelry.

This angered your father more and instead of taking it out on Alastor or your mother he took it out on you and your siblings. Atticus tried to protect all of you.

One day your father and Atticus got into a really bad fight and your brother was shot. He didn't make it.

It was around the same time when a horrid smell started coming from Alma's room. Your parents said she caught a fever and no one noticed but you didn't believe them anymore.

From then on you started distancing yourself from your family and growing closer to Alastor.

When you got older (16) you started working with alastor at the radio station. He taught you how to live life without worry.

He treats you like your a person and not just your parent's child.

Your parents treated you like a decoration. Alastor treated you like a child he didn't know he wanted.

You found out he was a murder by accident. You forgot someone at the station late at night and went back to get it to see blood spattered in the talking booth.

At first you thought it was Alastors so you took a gun that the station had in case of emergencies and followed the trail.

Opening the back door you saw Alastor dragging the body. The two of you made eye contact. Your body moved without hesitation and helped him hide the body.

Lucifer had just gotten back from the hotel looking more depressed than ever. You didn't get a chance to greet him because he went to your shared room to shove his face into his pillow.

You followed him in worry.
