Really COOL vibes, but like...totally just vibes. I mean, there ARE thoughts in this, however asking me to articulate those thoughts would be like asking a fruit bat to write out a essay explaining the calculus they do by instinct to fly. Would be REAL incoherent is my point!

this is so silly but it's been in my head for WEEKS, so I had to make a shitpost about it
ISAT SECRET SANTA !!
hihihi!! some of you may remember the interest check poll i made a few weeks ago. now that were getting closer to the holidays, its time to finally put this out.
(i encourage you to read through everything before signing up!)
what is secret santa? how does it work?
to summarize… each participant will receive the name of another participant, and be tasked with creating a gift for them. the catch is that the gift, and who its for, is intended to be a secret until the gift is given.
for this event specifically, i will be hosting it through a discord server to give me easier access / communication with all participants.
important dates
NOV 20 -> sign ups are closed! no more participants past this date will be allowed in
NOV 21 - NOV 22 -> gifts and participants will be distributed
NOV 23 -> buffer day. an extra day added for me to go through and make sure there werent any errors or changes needed to be made to the randomized assignments
DEC 15 -> progress check-in! (no actual progress required to be shown)
DEC 25 - JAN 1 -> posting week! gifts are revealed and given.
rules + extra notes
all gifts should be kept pg! be extremely mindful of what you include in your gift. additionally, sensitive topics / imagery should be limited to be safe
while i have no actual control over your actions, i encourage people not to spoil their gifts early. its more fun as a surprise!
ocs / aus are allowed to be worked with so long as there are ref sheets + enough information for your santa to work off of
joining the server is required for participation, to make things easier for me to work with.
should go without saying, but- the gifts you create are required to be your own original work. stolen or AI generated gifts are not permitted
have fun with your gifts!! there is no point if your are not having a good time :)
how to sign up?
TWO very important steps.
1. fill out the google form!!
make sure to fill in all required spaces!
2. join the server!
both steps are required for your to be added to the participant list! if i see youve completed one without the other (example- filled out the form, but havent joined the discord) i might reach out and poke you about it.

It’s a fusion au with The Stanley Parable and In Stars and Time.
What’s it about?
The Stanley Parable focuses on the nature of video games and narratives as a whole. This will focus specifically on the themes of isat.

Do you ever wish you could beat into a character's head that they're loved? Because I sure wanted to beat Siffrin during my first playthrough of In Stars and Time. Then I thought about that figure of speech too literally, laughed at my own joke, and now here's me using Odile as a proxy to do just that. :)
I absolutely adore Odile's "you will be safe and happy and that is a threat" approach to emotional support. Her and Siffrin's dynamic in general is just chef's kiss.
Sorry about your hat, Siffrin, but it was destroying my panel composition when I tried to put it on your head.

For being rusty with art I'm really happy with this! That last panel in particular was very new territory for me but I think it came out good! I'm happy with the movement between panels in general. And look at me! Drawing backgrounds!! Wahoo!!
I drew these panels incredibly out of order, so you can see my art style and amount of effort fade in and out as you read, lmao. I tried to stay authentic to the game's style, but sort of gave up and let my style bleed through on the action-y panels. It just felt right. Gives it emphasis. :P
I'm new to writing screen reader image alt text, so feedback is welcomed. Sorry again to Siffrin because I forced myself to he/him them only to avoid confusion, but it felt bad! My fellow they/he, I have wronged you.
Time spent working on this comic was...... 33 hours and 18 minutes. I blame the rust, learning how to draw these characters on the fly, and figuring out the perspective on those bricks, oh my god.
