WELCOME!! To my Rise AU, affectionately dubbed the Double Pendulum AU!!

I'm hoping to use this series as a way to practice art and storytelling, but also to get a lot of the funky ideas I've had floating in my head out. LMK what y'all think!!

Update: I am working on the comic, I have a problem with procrastinating and also with recent events that happened in the U.S. I have been ummm not really mentally well, I am trying, believe me, I am.

I’ll be okay, but uhhh I’m gonna finish this comic, I know it, I got this. Here’s what I got so far for the next page! Might not look like much but I still got a lot to do and yeah, thank you all for being patient with me. Even if you’re here for only my ROTTMNT art, it still means a lot to me.

LAST POST FOR RN (it is gonna be 4am omfg-) W.I.P of Rise!Ronin in his early 20’s,, this was just me trying to do foreshortening (???) and perspectives so yeah!!!

“May I speak to your boss now?”

I have been wanting to draw my Rise!Ronin intimidating as all hell cause he truly is and this is just him without using his mystic abilities!!!

Mikey has been through a lot and at this point he just wants to get everything over with so he can have peace finally.

Did I ever mention that I still have the story for my Rise!Ronin AU?

I called the AU Anachronism which means a person or thing that is chronologically out of place, which definitely fits with Rise!Ronin

The first one to find him, is Donatello. That is all I shall share until am able to give more information and all hehe

I should share this becuz I thought it was funny, before anyone asks, the other turtle with the cape is named Kirby. If you know, you know!

Here it is just not in video format.

Kirby has some dark humor due to him living with some interesting yokai.

Up close shots of the two, they have a enemies to friends relationship that does end up romantic but that’s later on in the future, like after what happens in the ROTTMNT movie.

Look at that art style shift! Now why is that?! Okay so I had took a year long break as I wanted to focus on my original stories and yeah, I had forgot about my comic until I think TMNT MM was released I think, this was uploaded around September 12 - November 12, 2023!

My art has improved and I’m glad of how far I’ve come! Even storytelling wise. I do reread my stuff to make sure I don’t have anything misspelled or misunderstood as I suffer with dyslexia. Like really badly. My brain thinks faster than what my hands can keep up with. So I do apologize if I do have some stuff misspelled!

I’m reuploading this comic cause I am still working on it, it’s called I sometimes go from one special interest to another,, this one and the next post I originally made on September 23, 2021. The story is still the same however!

Taking place a couple of months after the fight with Shredder and with Leonardo now as the leader, he has a ego due to said fight with Shredder. Is he ready for his first real mission as the leader and for what comes his way?

Also the comic is called Oblivious Sonder AU, cuz I mean it is a sorta AU but also not??? Idk it just has characters that I made myself and some from past iterations that I wanted to put in.

Part 2

ok hear me out- au where splinter actually focuses on training the boys and teaching them about their hamato ancestry from the beginning

he chooses to prioritize the threat of the shredder and other dangers over his own reluctance to combat and, inadvertently, his son's selves.

and instead of being able to just be kids, they have to discover themselves and their individuality later on

I drew feral Leo but was unsure about what to do with him so I thought I'd post him as is, with the added bonus of his brothers' reactions.

Below the cut I have expanded upon their feelings. There are spoilers if you haven't read up to the current chapter though.

Mikey:

He took one of Donnie's weapons with a clear goal in mind, though it is unknown what the weapon is and what he intends to do with it. He is serious though, he will not go easy on (Not) Leo.

Afterall he desperately wants Leo back but keeps jumping back and forth over whether or not the mutant turtle they pulled out of the Prison Dimension is really his brother or not.

Maybe Karai can help him answer that?

Raph:

Raph loves Leo so much and nothing will make him happier to get him home. But his family is getting hurt in the process. Leo seems more than reluctant to come home, and he's scared that Leo's now unpredictable and violent nature will get his family hurt or even worst... killed.

He knows it all the results of having been trapped alone with Krang Prime, but he has no idea how to help his brother come back from that.

Maybe going to the EPF will help him figure it out?

Donnie:

He will do anything to get his twin back. He doesn't care how much he gets hurt, but he will not risk hurting Leo more than he already is. He will keep trying to talk with his twin, offer help and support in anyway he can. He's not good with emotions, and is well aware that he's more likely going to mess it up than fix anything, but he will never stop trying.

However he is unsure whether or not being patient and understanding with Leo is helping.

Maybe Leo can help clear his resolve?

The Hamato's have not stopped since the Krang invasion, they really need a break.

A big fight is coming up, they're going to need all the morale boost they can get!

On a more fluffy note: Donnie spends all his time in Leo's hoodies.

Mikey's first attempt to get Leo out of the Prison Dimension doesn't work. Throughout many attempts to free him they see Leo deteriorate until it becomes apparent that he is no longer the brother they knew.

End of the movie… or at least it should've been.

The Krang successfully grabbed Leo's leg and pulled him back into the prison dimension. When, unable to keep it open, the portal closes. Locking him in the void with the most malicious creature he's ever met.

Now it's a race against time to bring Leo home. But with each attempt they see Leo deteriorate… and Mikey starts to question whether or not Leo should be allowed out of the prison dimension at all.

Prolonged Agony just hit 100,000 words!

This is the first time I've written something so long. I am so excited to see how long this fic is going to be by the time I finish it!

Thank you for all those who have read Prolonged Agony so far, without your support I don't think I would've gotten this far.

Prolonged Agony Chapter 23!

I decided it was probably about time I worked out a proper timeline, for my own sanity more than anything, since some chapters overlap.

I will update the timeline as the story progresses to avoid spoilers for those who are following along with the fic.

The timeline is rough and might be edited in the future, but as I said, this is mostly to help me keep track of everything lol

Major spoilers below!

Timeline.

Part 1: Getting Leo home.

1st: Canon portal - Divergence starts.

2nd: Directly after first.

3rd: Night time a few hours later - Mikey opens portal alone

4th: Next day - Afternoon - Failed to open

5th: Next day - Afternoon - Leo fights back

Night time: Mikey has Nightmare.

6th: ^ Same night - Mikey and Donnie opne portal alone

Next day - Donnie and Mikey argue 

7th: Next day - Morning - open portal with April and Casey

8th: Directly afterwards - SUCCESS!

Total days = 5 days.

Part 2: Leo is home

Directly after getting Leo home: 

Mikey refuses to see Leo.

April sees Leo's injuries.

April and Mikey talk.

Raph cleans Leo.

Donnie and Casey amputate Leo's arm.

Late afternoon:

Donnie goes to bed and has a nightmare.

Raph takes Donnie to med-bay.

Raph joins Mikey, April and Casey in the kitchen.

Leo wakes up and basks in the sun.

Leo portals to the TCRI building and sneaks inside for information.

Prolonged Agony Cover Art

End of the movie… or at least it should've been.

I was meant to release this the same day I publish Chapter 20 but I got excited and couldn't wait so here you go!

This took me forever to do. I knew I wanted to do some kind of cover art from my fic, but I had no idea where to start. Art isn't my strongest point, I'm better at writing lol, but I think I did a pretty good job with this.

The idea came when I looked through some offical TMNT comic covers and decided to redraw one of those. The cover I chose is from The Last Ronin. I just liked the layout and concept, so I redrew it to fit my fic.
