4. Piece you wish got more love?
Hmm... I don't often let myself get sad about my art not doing as well as I hoped, but I do sort of wish the raffle prizes I posted earlier this year had gotten some more likes. Although the main reason they didn't was that I didn't have many followers (I still don't but my art gets more likes now so yeah).
14. What's your favourite thing about drawing?
This question is a tad vague, so I'm just answering on vibes if that makes sense. I think my favourite thing about drawing is really just the joy of creation. Like, it's fun to make stuff and to have it in my files and online and think "yo, I made that". Plus, I usually enjoy the process a lot (although I like certain parts more than others).
29. Do you use a lot of references while drawing?
It really depends on what I'm drawing! If I'm really familiar with it, I can bust it out with no reference. But if it's a new species, or a weird angle, or something else that I don't do much, I'll usually try to pull up some references, because otherwise, it doesn't really meet my standards.
hi! i was wondering what kind of problems you’re talking about in your last post about the warriors books? i stopped reading after the Great Battle and honestly i haven’t picked up a warriors book since middle school, but im trying to get back into the fandom and would love to hear what you have to say!
there are kind of a lot, some more rampant than others. you've actually read further than I have (I stopped at sunrise), but I know a bit about the books after it because I frequent the analysis side of the Warriors fandom and I don't listen to spoiler warnings. The most common issue in the books is how not much happens in them. power of three and omen of the stars easily could have been one arc, but because the authors didn't plan the books properly they ended up as two.
some other things have been pointed out more recently. the series doesn't give disabled cats all that much respect (consider Snowkit's death, for example, or how Jayfeather was pressured by Leafpool to become a medicine cat because he was blind).
a few years ago, spottedleaf got her own novella which contained some very problematic aspects that I don't want to get into here.
there's also a lot of implicit sexism in the books; she-cats get fewer lines (i.e. less focus) and usually settle down and have kits no matter how little it seems to fit their characterisation. it's especially bad in dawn of the clans IMO; I haven't read it since 2020 but I'm pretty sure gray wing has like three girlfriends in two books? I never finished dotc but I've heard the sexism continues all the way through it.
the tribe of rushing water is also in a bit of a weird spot. i think some people claim cultural appropriation, but I don't know enough about that to verify it.
that's all that comes to mind at the moment, but I'm sure there's more. and i also haven't read any of the books in almost four years, so i might misremember things or misrepresent points originally made by people who actually did read the books properly.

Maybe I'm misunderstanding, but my point was that Noah isn't a Zionist. And no, I don't think being extremist in any direction is good. I'm not saying you have to like Noah or can't have a nuanced opinion. I'm just tired of seeing people insinuate he is a Zionist and further spread misinformation when he's talked about his stance and how he isn't a Zionist.

and while I agree that his stance is nuanced to his perspective, and I am using the term Zionist more colloquially where I personally define it as a defender of Israel and the harm they're responsible for. I personally believe that him supporting the Israeli state, even if he feels empathy for the victims, even if he has a Palestinian friend, I feel discouraged because he hasn't denounced the actions taken by Israel or the states behaviours that led to the rebellion.
I also believe he can be a good person to his friends, his fans, and those around him while still having this point of view. I denounce Zionism, and I really hope he can educate himself further as I've seen that he can change his opinion with more info and empathy.
I'd like to add that I think it's important to speak up for those fans bc ppl go too far, it was nice seeing you talk about that and speak sensfulness.
I hope people stop hating on them just for enjoying something 🙏🙏🙏

ig the reason I'm even responding is because I feel like nuance is being lost, I believe that just because not everyone is living their life always making every decision based off of Palestine doesn't make them a bad person. That's who this is about, I can have as much of a nuanced opinion of Noah Schnapp as I want, but those two people who are being insulted? they didn't ask for that.
If your first question to people is, do you support genocide? and not something like what tv shows do you like? maybe it's less about defending a VERY IMPORTANT LIFE SHATTERING GENOCIDE and more about feeling morally superior than people because they like a gay ship in fandom.
And yes maybe it is selfish, but everyone seeks self fulfillment first and foremost after any other basic needs, why doesnt every Zionist donate all their money to Israel? why doesn't every Palestine supporter donate all their income to Gaza? why is that money more important than the billions going to Israel for more weapons that could be going to Gaza for humanitarian aid instead? Like I said we should call out these behaviors but we should also try and educate rather than insult, and focus on where there needs to be an impact most. Which I can assure you is not the st fandom.
How much can one person do? Harm, help, doesn't matter, if they aren't a part of something bigger than themselves, nothing. Supporting a group as an individual brings about a sense of community, so being in a community can become supporting a particular group. If you are influenced by certain communities the things you believe in are gonna be different.
A good person supports their community right? If your community is yelling and screaming that an injustice was done against them wouldn't you support them? They wouldn't LIE or have other motivations.
This isn't an excuse for anyone's opinions, everyone is their own person who could educate themselves.
also I won't say that Schnapp doesn't deserve to be paid (???) for the work he does? You could be anything and you should still be able to be paid for your labor no matter your opinions.
I feel you need to read hawkins-batman pinned post here on tumblr because you do not seem to be fully up to date with the Noah situation. That or you're are trying to frame yourself as "in the middle" to avoid conflict and criticism.
Hi! I have read that post (its actually what made me aware of this controversy in the first place). I understand that he is a human being that doesn't deserve death threats and harassment. I also understand that A LOT of people have taken their hate campaign too far. BUT I will NEVER defend someone who supports Zionism on that opinion. What I will defend are random people online who don't asked to be insulted just because they support and are excited about a ship in fandom.
I will also try to be real with people that this behavior? It isn't helping anyone, it makes Israel defenders double down, and those who are anti-palestine have reasons to defame those trying to actually make a difference. There must be some confusion, but I needed to say it once more since more people are discovering my blog. Guys, I only draw Himiko Toga (and Ochako Uraraka a little bit) or togachako requests as my blog is currently dedicated to one particular fandom – My Hero Academia
I've clearly stated that in my previous post, so please, take time and actually read what I wrote there. I DON'T draw requests for other media or characters/ships, I'll let you know if I decide otherwise 🤭
I won't answer the asks that don't fall under the criteria I've stated (I don't want the ppl who asked for art on other fandoms to feel exposed, and I hope they see this post and don't take offense)
And I see the need to lay down a few things to avoid accidents in the future

WHAT I WILL DRAW
Himiko Toga or Ochako Uraraka are my absolute YES, togachako art is nice if it doesn't include sexual stuff (and I don't like drawing kissing characters, it's just my personal thing, sorry haha). I love ancient mythology, symbolism and AUs. But if you're courageous enough to request a crossover with other media and I haven't watched/played it, it'll take longer for me to draw as I will definitely do some major research on the said media first.
And a few more things – don't worry if I take too long to draw. I remember about you, and if you have followed the rules and I decide not to draw your request for some reason, I'll warn you. If I don't, then I'm a bit busy and will do the request soon
Any request that doesn't follow the rules will be ignored (it's the most optimal solution I've come up with)
How do you think toh's social media pressence is? I just imagine the young eda reposting memes and pics of herself 24/7. Oh, and luz blogging on tumblr about azura!

Sorry for taking so long. School was taking almost all of my time. I can definitely see Eda (young or old) posting memes and selfies. Luz’s social media would be filled with Azura content (as well as Amity). I can see Luz and Amity have a joint social media presence, pretty much talking about anything that comes to mind- from Azura to their life experiences. They would have a couple hundred followers because of how real they are and cute as a couple. Their followers would recommend the worst books ever to get Luz and Amity’s reactions like @thesequelnobodywanted on Instagram.
Gus would definitely be a vlogger. He wants to share his first time experiences with everyone. He’s recording his first time trying new foods, activities, basically anything he finds fun. I could see him have a big following because of his likable and charismatic personality. He would always be kind to his fans, take photos, and have little chats with them. Willow would be a recurring guest on his channel. Some videos would even star her trying a new sport or learning about/seeing Human Realm plants. Luz, Amity, and Hunter appear once in a while but they don’t have video focused on them.
I see Hunter wanting a private account and only following people he likes/knows. He’s a private guy. Once in a while, he’d post his palisman carving like progress videos. King wouldn’t have a human realm social media account since he’s a Titan but he’d have one in the Demon Realm. Like Eda, King would repost memes or jokes as well as post new glyphs he created. King would often do (harmless) pranks. Personally, I don’t think Raine would have social media, but if they did the content would be song/music video reactions, how to sing videos, and the occasional ones about the LGBTQ+ community (their personal journey or news). Darius’ content would be fashion and life stories. He would record his sewing process and model the piece. His life story content would be similar to @dontcrossagayman on Instagram. Darius would also do the occasional make up video, but they would be chill where he would try new make up looks.
Amity would convince Alador to get social media to promote the new and improved Blight Industries. Most of the content would be announcements on new inventions; however, Alador does have his fun when he posts videos of himself discovering Human Realm technology and trying to improve him.
i really liked your headcanons about johnny cage and general shao. could you write one for bi-han?? that would be most interesting
Thank you for the kind words! I’ve had a lot of fun making headcanons for MK1 characters. Compared to Johnny, I don’t have that many headcanons for Bi-Han, but I do have some on his childhood and familial relationships. Sorry if this turns out really long. Hope you enjoy!
Bi-Han was very close to his mother. She would comfort him whenever his father was very harsh towards him during training and reassured him that he would be a great leader and makes the Lin-Kuei strong. Her death was the catalyst for Bi-Han believing his father was unfit to lead the Lin-Kuei since she was killed by a vengeful former member.
His father loved and cared for Bi-Han but his duty to train him to be the rightful heir to the Lin Kuei overshadowed that. He would train his son until near exhaustion, which led to Bi-Han being mostly isolated from the rest of the family in his early and late teens. He would tell him a great leader has to be strong and perceptive enough to lead. Bi-Han admired his father as a leader though rarely considered him his father- mostly calling him “Grandmaster” compared to “father.” His admiration turned to anger after his mother’s death and realizing how involved Liu Kang is in Lin-Kuei’s business. Bi-Han saw this as a weakness since Liu Kang wasn’t an official leader and perceived it as against his training and philosophy. Years later, his father was suffering a terrible illness. His father’s death occurred during a battle against rogue Lin-Kuei members who believed him to be too weak to continue as Grandmaster. By the end of the battle, Bi-Han found his father under rubble with a stab wound to the abdomen. Bi-Han decided to leave him to die so his father wouldn’t suffer from the illness and his belief that he is capable of succeeding as Grandmaster.
Bi-Han and Kuai Liang were very close as little boys. There’s a headcanon where Kuai Liang was born too weak to wield cryomancy- he was even close to death. Liu Kang healed Kuai, giving him his fire powers. Being two years old at the time, Bi-Han was unaware of the situation’s severity though felt protective towards his little brother when he held him. Before mastering his pyromancy, Kuai’s body couldn’t handle cold temperatures or the frequent colds he’d get. Bi-Han would sleep with his sick brother to make sure he didn’t overheat or in case he needed help. While their parents were anxious about letting Kuai Liang fight, Bi-Han saw his potential to be a great fighter and his right-hand man when he became Grandmaster.
Although Bi-Han was very harsh towards Tomas, he saw his adoptive brother as family. The reason why he sometimes treats Tomas badly is because of resentment and jealousy. Bi-Han resented Tomas since his father gave him “leniency”- welcomed Tomas to the Lin-Kuei almost immediately- and acted more fatherly. He was also jealous of Kuai Liang and Tomas’s growing brotherhood during the bulk of his intense training. In a way, Bi-Han felt like he was being replaced. He tries to not hold it against Tomas though his unresolved anger gets in the way.
Very rarely do I find someone who's in a lot of the same fandoms, AND who listens to a lot of the same artists as me

Se for mais específico, coloque em inglês como red texture pack e não tem segredo, você vai descobrir os perfis que mais se enquadram no seu estilo (importante dizer que é bom experimentar packs novos, tenha paciência consigo e não se pressione :3)

I also think that after Beth was born (maybe the s3 ish time of this universe?) she chose to join the Hunters of Artemis and swear off romance forever because she is a strong independent woman and should.

Kurt’s mom was absolutely Aphrodite. He doesn’t have charmspeak but he definitely has some of the natural beauty of Aphrodite kids. His “powers” also somewhat come from Aphrodite’s origin as a war goddess. Really all he can do is leave a battle/sing-off without a hair out of place. Sometimes he gets upset at how useless his powers feel compared to others, but he still loves his mom and he and Burt always knew who she was.
Blaine’s father is Apollo. He’s just a child of sunshine and that’s literally Apollo’s shtick. He got his musical ability from Apollo and a very small level of healing powers. Blaines got a little bit of bitterness for how Apollo left his mother to fend for herself after ditching them but he doesn’t really hold grudges all that well.
Mercedes I also said was a child of Aphrodite. I think she has the absolute smallest level of charmspeak and it only comes out when she’s extremely passionate (typically when singing). She definitely struggled with her place among her siblings. It took a while for her to see herself as as beautiful and powerful as the rest of them. Because some of her siblings are mean, but Aphrodite definitely at one point told her how beautiful she is. Because Mercedes is the real goddess here tbh
