Happy Loop Day!

September the 3rd, 1940, our lovely loop was created by our Ymbryne Miss Alma LeFay Peregrine :> Today I am celebrating by reading on my hammock as I watch planes pass by in the sky

(as I am not entirely comfortable showing my face on this platform yet, I decided to blur it out, I was wearing one of my favorite outfits and wanted to show it off!)

Happy Loop Day!

although I am shifting to the book version, this photo still holds a special place in my heart ♥️

Hi!!
Hi!!

Hi!!

I bought 4 books recently, 2 of them arrived today:

• o mito de sísifo - camus;

• exílios e poemas - james joyce.

As you know, I already read the myth of sysifus, but it was on kindle and i wanted to have the physical one. And the Joyce's, I never even had heard about it, but found it online and it sounds interesting.

Be kind to yourselves, fellas! 🤍🌧

camus was so gorgeous, wasn't him? and had such a strong personality. innocent tho, an idealistic. you can easily fall in love with him just by reading about his history.

Pounding my fists on the ground I CAN'T BELIEVE THERE'S A NEW BOOK IN THE INKWORLD SERIES CORNELIA FUNKE YOU WILL ALWAYS BE FAMOUS TO ME!!!!

I think technically Dragon Rider was my first Funke book which led me to Inkheart, which I would say is the single book that has had the greatest impact on my life. I finally finished reading the entire trilogy while in college and I LOVED it, absolutely mind blowing that there's a new book in the series and I have it and I'm reading it!!!

The cover art is absolutely beautiful (I have the Karl James Mountford & Steve Wells design), reading it so far has been like returning to my first home, I am so excited and so happy.

Next level would be rereading the series in the original German (finding out Funke is German was probably also what initially sparked my interest in actually learning the language, moreso than even knowing that I come from a German background lmao).

I eventually want to get the entire series in hardcover variants - I was a child when I bought the original books and the years are definitely showing on the softcovers :').

Anyway Cornelia you mean everything to me.

📚✨First Post Feelings✨📚

📚✨First Post Feelings✨📚

Hi there! After years of lurking, dreaming, and filling draft after draft with half-finished thoughts, I'm finally starting this little bookish corner of the internet.

This blog has been in the works for ages—scribbled in notebooks, imagined during late-night reads, and quietly nurtured through countless "maybe someday" moments. I've always loved stories: the kind that wreck you, heal you, haunt you, and hug you. But I never quite found the courage to share my thoughts out loud… until now.

So here I am! Ready to ramble about books, scream about characters, overanalyze plot twists, and fall into fictional worlds with reckless abandon. Whether you're here for reviews, reading challenges, aesthetic ramblings, or chaotic bookworm energy—I'm so glad you're here.

Let's get lost in stories together. 💫

Surprising what you can dig out of books if you read long enough, isn't it?

My simping over interracial relationships.

As a POC who married a white guy, I didn't know I was so into these until I got a little older. It doesn't matter who is what but the moment I see POC x Non-POC, I'm immediately hooked.

Sir Torsten Unger and Olleander! I wanted them to be together so bad, I could taste it. I mean, they were together but like I needed more because I'm an addict.

I just finished Defy the Stars but this has WAY MORE PERSONAL TOUCH TO IT BECAUSEEEEEEEE THE MC is Latina and Abel is a blonde guy. Not to mention our names use the same first letter, lol.

I told my husband about Noemi and Abel and he said: "Are you fetishizing me? I'm husband." It's kinda funny because my husband has autism, so some of the funny things he says kind reminds me of Abel.

So, yes, if you are writing a poc x non-poc in your book. I will read it and project myself on it so hard.

So true Lmao

Other YA characters taking down their enemies: massive scale magical fight scenes, complex good vs evil moral conversations, love triangles, tragedy

vs crooked kingdom
