anyway cat art moment so that this post isn't nothing

just some stuff i've drawn over the last week or so. mostly kitty cat busts because I'm kinda lazy tbh (/j)

image one is a character i got from Upsilon on TH. i have inserted them into one of my warriors fics but i might move them somewhere else. currently their name is duneleap, like sand dune, like beach.

second and third are the same character. as img 3 says, their name is unicorn. they don't really have any lore yet but that may change! they have a bf who i haven't designed yet named mon, after v723 monoceros, the star that accompanies the black hole unicorn is based on. i really like space

and the fourth image is of an old oc who i sometimes think about. his name is claude. normally he is very chill and positive, but that's boring, so i drew like, edgy symbolic art about his trauma. yay!

It's Mermay + Good Omens month? WELL DON'T MIND ME I'm just going to draw Crowley as a Sea snack (uhm, snake)

I found out that I love doing everything on one layer. It's so relaxing and it feels like painting when the colors mix 💙

CONTRAST

Allow me to explain this drawing a little. Although it's a pretty simple drawing, it has a lot of meaning to me. There is symbolism in it. This is how I see Aziraphale and Crowley at the beginning.

On one side we have Aziraphale. A pure being, an Angel, who is tilted completely towards his the light of God, the "Heaven side". And yet he doesn't look at it, he looks a little towards us, humans. He has compassion for us, he cares, more than he should. He is also not smiling at all. Yes he is an angel, he knows they are the good guys, but why killing so many people? Why banishing Adam and Eve for an apple? He trusts God, but doesn't understand.

On the other side we have Crowley, in the Shadow, in God's (and Aziraphale's) shadow. He is a demon, who is not welcome in the light. He doesn't look at his own side either, his all body is actually a little tilted towards us. Hell is ok but he likes humans more, he like earth, he is fond of us. He doesn't care much about his side, although he definetely doesn't care about Heaven either. And he is smiling because he likes the gray area he is in.

See? I can draw stuff other than British Angels and Demons! Some Howl's moving castle this time (my favourite by Studio Ghibli). Probably will upload the end result tomorrow. Also I was thinking about making a speed paint of this and upload it on YouTube. Should I?
