A really funny way to have ghost spider and Spiderman(Peter parker) in the same base universe would be to keep Peter parker as her best friend but instead of him dying Peter parker just disappears because he was in the wrong place at the wrong time and ghost spider gets blamed by the police and then like a while later Peter just shows back up like nothing happened and ghost spider meets a very confused Spiderman

the spiders run a fight ring, it started as a way for Peter to keep making money. No one who helps run the place tolerates murders or outher specific things and will hand people into the cops if they dub a person to be too bad even for an underground fight ring

Every police station in the city spends way longer then they'd like to admit trying to find and clear out glitter and paint left by the spiders usually distributed by glitter bombs. Nobody knows where they keep getting it or how they manage to get into the buildings to be able to plant them in drawers but every once in a while an officer will open there drawer and get a face full of paint, glitter or bombs.

In the hero villain swap au Peter miles and Gwen have slightly difrent backstories to what is usually used. Uncle Ben died like he usually does only this time it was cause the police let the robber go and he killed Ben, instead of Peter putting on the mask to find the rober he left it to the police who failed to catch him from that point forward Peter decided to work against the law because he felt wronged. Similarly Gwen's best friend died because the police force was to slow, she dosent blame her dad as he wasent there but she started to steal from some of the worse members of the police. Miles dad died to someone who was supposed to be his partner and it pissed him off, mile didn't originally start his career with criminal intentions in mind but after the outher spiders started helping him get slightly petty revenge he started the whole villain career. (Backstories may change depending on plot)

ok so the order of the members joining web goes kinda like this:

Spiderman (peter parker) started his criminal career, later ghost spider shows up starts doing the things he's doing just not quite as sucsessfully she does corner him one day and ask/demand to join him and he's all confused says no but she's consistent they do learn each outhers identity but only after awhile, Spiderman (miles morales) comes next they find him trying to rob a place they where gonna rob and just kinda adopt them into there group, spider women comes next and she just kida leaves where she was and wiggles her way into the group and silk was found similar to her earth 616 counterpart except she then joins the group after realising that if she is gonna do literally anything she's gonna need people who have stuff. Spider women also had something to do with it but refuses to admit it

In the marvel hero villain swap au Spiderman (Peter Parker) runs a criminal empire. Its main members are the outher spider people specifically ghost spider, Spiderman (miles morales) silk and spider women.

Parasite noticed the pause in their voice, the slight hesitance. That usually meant regret or nervousness, didn’t it?

Make a connection with her to acknowledge that you know that something’s wrong, but don’t push it or make a fuss about it.

“Ah, I get that. I’ve been doing good though, surprisingly.”

They should get it over now, just… cut the bandage off? Wait, no, that was wrong, it was rip the bandaid off, that was it.

“Can I… Show you something? It’s nothing weird, I promise, just- well… It’s hard to explain?”

Wow, great job trying not to sound weird!

Gwen didn't go to Hudson Yard often. That would be obsessive. She didn't even expect to find Alice there.

But she would be lying if she claimed she didn't spend more time at the park than she used to. It was a good place to rest and sometimes patrol got stressful, so she'd take a few minutes and stop by.

Yeah, part of it was that it reminded her of Alice and she was able to feel a little less odd for a few minutes, but she wasn't trying to find them. That would be invasive. Gwen was getting better at recognizing that.

She sighed as she pulled at the grass, letting her mind wander. She tried to stay alert, she really did, but it felt like such a chore when there was simply her, grass, and air. So she let it go for a bit.

The wind blew at her side, not too strong, but it still made her shiver.

She heard footsteps as people wandered by. Not many, but some. Few stopped, which made sense. It was late and Gwen stayed hidden from the walkway between a tree and some bushes.

Parasite had been lurking around Hudson Yard too, though they hadn’t been doing so as much.

Parasite had been in partial symbiote form. They had started to get more and more confident each day with it, especially after realizing that this was New York, where most people were used to aliens and mutants.

That didn’t change the fact that people still hid away, or grimaced, or moved away, or started to reach for concealed guns whenever they saw them, which was why they had been lurking a bit in the more shadowy parts of Hudson park when they had seen Gwen again.

Parasite almost did a double take, seeing the first person that had treated them normally and given them a chance. They had almost charged forwards before remembering that they didn’t have Alice as a host anymore, and seeing a symbiote host charging at them probably would be quite the alarming sight. Instead, they stood there for a moment, just staring, trying to contemplate what the next best move would be. They were really starting to regret not telling Gwen before they had parted they were a symbiote.

Parasite hesitated. They had been so sure about it at first, but now…

Take it slow, don’t startle her.

Parasite spoke up, trying to make their voice as friendly as possible. “Gwen?”

When they didn’t immediately run away, they spoke up again. “Gwen, hey! It’s me, Alice! Remember!”

They made sure to stay partially in the shadows as they talked. Maybe if they talked first and then showed themselves, it wouldn’t go badly.

No problem, though, like I said, I’m not sure.

I’ve also heard that they might be trying to revive him though. I’m not sure how.

What's going on with Peter? I disappeared for like a week and people are freaking out. What's up? Please explain

I try to stay away from most Peter variants, but from what I’ve heard he mayyy have died. Maybe. I heard that from a Deadpool though, so… Take it with a grain of salt.

Probably foxglove or spider irises, though blue lilies would also be acceptable.

However since I’m not part spider I’m probably (hopefully) not going to die anytime soon, though- if you are part spider, then lifespan is probably more along 47 years, so I take back that statement.

Alice-Parasite waved back, before after a long moment of not fully wanting to leave, and having to, they continued to walk away.

They were a bit surprised at how nice that felt, to talk to somebody who wasn’t trying to hurt them or were scared of them. Somebody who was polite to them- not out of malicious intent or personal gain, but out the pure empathy.

Parasite would see Ghost-Spider again, they were sure of it.

“Hey, you! Spider…”

Parasite Alice paused, trying to regain control of their host’s body again why did they keep on fighting Parasites control why did they pick a host that was so difficult we need a new host soon FIND ONE

“What do you… What’s your opinion on symbiotes? What do you know about them?”

Parasite-Alice leaned up against a fire escape, her expression blank and emotionless.

Gwen froze and pulled her mask back down, spinning on her toes to face the newcomer. She hadn't even realized someone was there. She had to get a grip.

She tried not to seem too out of breath or panicky, but they'd likely be well aware if they'd been there for any time at all. They hadn't mentioned it yet, however.

It took a moment to process their question. She had to get a grip first. There wasn't a clear threat.

"...In theory? They're very interesting," That was flat. Not enough. This was a biology question, she liked biology. "I mean, I don't know a lot. But parasites are always interesting to learn about." She didn't know why this was one of the topics she always hedged on. Realistically, she knew her feelings. But this was one of the things where she had to test the dirt, to find her footing, before she could state her opinion. Especially because she still didn't know this person.

"I don't have anything against them. Certainly not the hosts, they are actively hurt in the exchange," She wrung her hands together. Paused. "I think my interest lands in what is best for the host and what they prefer." That shouldn't have been too far. No matter the harm inflicted on others, the host was a person in the exchange. And yet she found her grimacing as if she'd stated the most controversial opinion in the world. It was stupid.

"Uh, may I ask who you are? And what your opinion is?"

Parasite-Alice smiled at them, but this time, it wasn’t forced.

“Thanks, again.”

Parasite knew that there would be a long way to go before they could be considered friends, but they would figure it out. It brought them a sense of comfort too, knowing where they would most likely be this time of day.

“If you need to find me, I’ll usually hang around midtown west or Lincoln square. Though, a fair warning, I may… Look a bit different.”

And with that, Parasite-Alice started to walk away, pausing to turn around and say, “See you later?”

“Hey, you! Spider…”

Parasite tensed up, their expression shifting from somewhat confused to completely and utterly dumbfounded.

“…What?”

Slowly, Parasite-Alice stopped. Hudson Yard, they could see it from here.

“I… We’re close, I can see from here.”

Parasite-Alice hesitated. What if this person was a potential host? They didn’t need to go, this person could be their host, even for now.

No.

Maybe (though it was unlikely) a host in the future, but right now, their mind tucked this strange spider-totem into a different category, one they had never fully known before, one they were unaware of even existing before hand.

A friend.

Could it even have that? Part of them didn’t think it was possible, especially not with a spider-totem. This person didn’t even know that they weren’t human, they only knew them under the name they had stolen from this host.

But maybe one day. They would stay in this city, in this place, maybe just for a little bit longer.

“I should be able to find my way from here. But… Thank you, though.”

“Hey, you! Spider…”

It did, in fact, seem to set Alice-Parasite at ease a bit (though they still seemed a bit wary). They trailed behind Gwen, following her movements as they made sure to keep enough distance in case they were forced to flee.

After a long moment of silence, Parasite’s curiosity won over their fear, and it found themself finally speaking up to ask, “Why are you helping me?”

“Hey, you! Spider…”

“Yes! I… Yes. That would be great.”

Parasite tried to keep themself level headed, but they were internally panicking a bit. Was this a trap? Were they still oblivious? Why was this person being so nice to them it didn’t make any sense something is wrong what is happening

“I… Sure. I’d… Like that, yes. That would be nice.”

At this point most normal thought process had decided to come to a halt as their brain desperately tried to come up with a solution to this question, their expression shifting a bit into bewilderment as they did so.

“Ahah…” Parasite tried to put on a smile in response (though it failed miserably, it was all teeth and no eyes). A spider, great, they wouldn’t be able to take this one as their hosts in that case after all, they didn’t want another Peter incident on their hands,

“I… Yes, I guess you could say that it’s not me-“ Parasite quickly cleared their throat, trying to hide their hosts call for help why was this person being so difficult if it wasn’t for them they could’ve just moved on and found a new host already

“I mean… Sorry about that. It’s… Do you-“ Parasite paused again, trying to think of the least suspicious way to phrase their question. “-Happen to know any hang-out spots? Preferably areas that have some people, but are isolated from busy crowds and whatnot?”
