Look at him, isnt he great, I had a lot of fun drawing X, even if I had procrastinated for majority of the day. Really tho I love this one lolz

Day 20: Hypnotizd (AKA ~Pretty Boy~)

I have no explanation, I just made him Pretty for some reason, when drawing goes right you know lolz. Anyway I finished him hours ago I just forgot to post it not long after I posted Keralis lol

Day 16: VintageBeef (the card king)

So on Beefs day I had no idea what I was going to draw so I used the day as a break, then yesterday I also took that as a break day (ignoring how I was meant to draw this) and so today I woke up and decided to get this done, and so I have

Day 15: ImpulseSV (with nothing happening in the background at all)

This took me a while, all of yesterday I was procrastinating by reading and then I took a "nap", when I woke up I procrastinated more and continued reading before finally starting to draw...then I put on Rens S8 because LORE and then I started watching Rens S9 and so this took far longer than it realistically should have lolz

Day 14: ZedaphPlays (drinking a lovely drink while Imp and Tango do their thing)

IM CAUGHT UP, my hands doing better now that Im no longer coloring and acting like the pressure force needed for coloring is over 9000, anyway isnt this such a nice drawing with nothing going wrong in the background at all?

Day 13: TangoTek (plus Impulse and Zed getting Wardened)

I am currently playing catch up lol, luckily Im only a day behind, Ill probably get the Zed drawing done later tonight to finally be caught up, but first I need rest I am tired lol

Day 12: ZombieCleo (this isnt late what are you talking about)

yeah sooooo, my hand is kinda having a breakdown at the moment so I was kinda forced to take a break for a day, doesnt mean that I'm not gonna play catch up of course (also tango will get posted tonight just gotta let my hand rest more lol)

Day 11: Goodtimeswithscar (MCC addition)

so scar has far too many skins and I had to close my eyes and randomly pick a skin to actually do this drawing, and then my hand was getting pretty bad so most of this got colored with my finger lol

Day 10: Fav Alt Hermit(s) -Grumbot Jrumbot and Ariana Griande

this was nice and calming, drew the bots last night and then Ariana today, if it isnt obvious paper and pencil change my style (the same thing happens when I draw on computer) so it looks a bit different to how I probably would have drawn them on my ipad but its vary cute so I dont care lolz

Day 9: Stressmonster101 (will not hesitate to prank you)

AAAHHH I LOVE HER SO MUCH, look at her, basic in her glory, this is how she gains your trust and then she will prank you to no end. Honestly really love this drawing so much lols

Day 8: Mumbo Jumbo (THATS REDSTONE)

So I wanted to actually draw his base but I also wanted to get this out before 12, plus I wanna play minecraft, so its not exactly the best drawing I've ever done so I might redo the drawing in June just because I would have time lol

Day 7: xBcrafted (your local fish)

I'm not gonna lie...I mainly used this as an excuse to draw a fish, because its been so long since I've last had. I would have gotten this done sooner but DND is a thing I forgot I had today lolz

Day 6: Docm77 (out favorite mad scientist)

I am actually really proud of this one, got it finished before 10pm all while watching the Doc himself, so this one was definitely fun

Day 5: Geminitay (also known as GeminiSlay)

I have done it once again folk, I have finished a drawing on time. However that may be because I have actually drawn her before, haven't posted the drawing on here before but who knows, I might now? (also I was watching Docm77 in the beginning and NCIS for the rest this time)

Day 4: False Symmetry (Hermit False and Empries False)

Actually ended up finishing this before 12am so I think I'm getting better at not getting distracted while drawing....or that could just be because I was watching DocM77 instead of NCIS lolz

Goodness gracious, i can't believe hermitaday 2024 is over??? THIS IS THE FIRST TIME IVE COMPLETED AN ART CHALLANGE LIKE THIS LMFAO-

Everyone say thank you to my adhd meds!!! Are they working properly??? Nope. Not at all. But they r making me hyperfixate on things 24/7, mainly art, which is probably the only reason i completed this LMFAO (my grades on the other hand... Are suffering... Oop-)

Participating in this was so much fun! It really inspired me to draw more and finally do more digital art, which I'm really grateful for, since I've been trying to convince myself to FINALLY learn it for literal years. Thanks to this challenge i finally started doing it :D

Additionally, I feel like I've improved a lot thanks to this challenge, since it made me draw even more than usually. I'm incredibly proud of myself for actually doing all of them, cause I've participated in some other art challenges before, but i never even got close to finishing them. Completing this one was a pleasant surprise! Im already reallyyy excited for next year, i hope i can participate again!

(I was originally gona add these final words to Rens prompt, but i finished that at like... 1am... So i decided to just go to sleep and do this later wiehwkdj)

[Day 30]: TANUKI JOEL TANUKI JOEL TANUKI JOEL-

(Whenever i export animations, procreate sometimes messes up the colors a bit? It looks fine on my ipad, but the animation is desaturated on my phone, so here's what it should look like:)

Anyways, i thought it would be funny to draw Joel summoning Effo, inspired by Grian & Scar summoning mumbo during season 8. It turned out even sillier than i thought it would and i absolutely love it wkdhwjd

Also wanted to show off the sketch since it shows off the movement a lot better! I did end up changing a LOT (and even ended up adding some frames where i did lineart w/o a sketch inbetween... Oop-) but u can still kind of see the drag and offset?

So basically: since the tail isn't a stiff object like... A table or sth, it has multiple 'joints' (<-don't remember the proper term for it). Now, if u animated the tail just moving back and forth it would look v v stiff and wierd, since irl the tip of the tail would be "dragged along" with the bottom (<-aka the ACTUAL joint that the movement originates from). To create a more organic and realistic movement, you need to slightly delay the other parts of the tail. I usually use those lil circles to sketch this out at first, since its a lot easier to do without having to worry about shape and perspective and such.

(in theory i know wayyy too much about animation, but in practice im still struggling to do it bc i don't have much experience animating ekfhakdj- i do know the theory p well, which is why im hoping his lil explanation might help someone! Let me know if u guys want me to include some art theory lessons more often :D)

[Day 29]: Hypno!

Decided to just do a quick colored sketch today :D except then i accidentally started rendering... Eh it still counts as a sketch! Kind of. I think. Maybe. :(

Istg this happens every time. I go "alr just a sketch today", i blink, and suddenly multiple hours have passed and i have a fully rendered piece with a background??? Like? I wonder why that happens... (looks at my adhd diagnosis) i cant think of any reasons why /s/j

LUCKILY! I did actually manage to convince myself to only spend an hour drawing instead of the usual.... 5 to 10 hours... (i mainly do traditional art so my digital art process is still VERY slow and VERY tedious... It's been getting better tho!)

It's a lil rushed cause i didn't have much time, so i think it can hypothetically still count as a sketch? At least the shading?? Mayhaps???

(curse school for being from 6am-4pm on most days :(((( I JUST WANNA DRAW!!!! lets ignore the fact i go to an art school and i already have 9+ hours of art a week, not including the art projects in other classes.... I want to draw MORE!)

[Day 27]: Grian! The pesky bird, the bad boy, the guy who got me into watching hermitcraft during season 7!

Look at him and his silly big eyes! Yep. They r ginormous, just like the moon. And its definitely the only odd thing about them... Don't look too closely tho :)

Ik this is a hermitcraft art challange, but just HAD to draw his badboy skin.

Oh and i gave him a silly necklace (that's hidden underneath his shirt) with absolutely no hidden meaning (<-lie) that i will definitely not elaborate on in future art! (<-depends on whether i remember to actually do it LMFAO)
