Oo I got another idea! You know how some people like to imagine Izuku as someone like Hatsume, an engineer or inventor? Yeahh! So, I would imagine him just making all sorts of inventions and gears inspired by quirks such as the 9 OFA quirks and maybe Gran Torino's. As one had an idea of (which made me think of this idea) smokescreen- smoke grenades and maybe holes in someone's suit that could allow them to shoot the smoke out in certain areas. Or, for example, Decay. Tenko's quirk. (not really) He could have special gloves that allow him to only activate his quirk when he, say, clutched his hands into fists. And then after that, he just needs to touch someone and he can decay them easily (After his quirk awakening). And if he has an itch, he can just scratch his arms, that could have a rubber or velvet material that allows him to itch without harming himself.

Izuku said He Feels at Ease When Someone Holds His Hand.

Now we know that All for One is a Quirk capable of stealing or copying other Quirks and transferring them to whoever he wants or keeping them and using them if the user wants and we also know that he gave his supposedly Quirkless brother a gift of power accumulation… ok? Well that's when I saw this…

"Just holding hands soothes the heart."

Izuku says again that the simple act of holding hands calms the heart because it works for him, holding hands with his friends calms him down and makes him feel good.

Well, so far so good.

That's where THIS comes in…

It is then that Izuku can somehow feel the embers rekindling.

When his other friends arrive, Kacchan walks in and asks Izuku about the embers... "They flew you over here, but… are the embers okay?"

To which Izuku replies "Yeah" Because yes, the embers are so good that they burn again... And no, it was not the "Magic of Friendship" nor the "Power of Love" nor the "Izuocha"

then I was like...

Naniiiii? But what the hell happened here?! and I remembered the following...

Yeap! Izuku's hands in volume 417, and that's when it occurred to me that what a fucking genius Horikoshi-sensei is.

Well, now we all know that AFO steals quirks by touching his victims with his hands due to the holes in them that seem to absorb said quirks, right? ok, have you figured out where I'm going?… AFO is Izuku's father! YES!

So even though here it doesn't look like Izuku has the same holes as AFO, there does seem to be light in what would appear to be said holes, but that's because instead of absorbing Quirks, Izuku only absorbs energy, like the Quirk that AFO imposed on his brother stores energy and like AFO absorbs said power! So if when Izuku touched Uraraka's hand he absorbed part of the power of her quirk to revive the embers, wouldn't that mean that Izuku inherited AFO's mutated quirk somehow? Well you can say that Izuku would need the holes to absorb the power but do we remember what his mother Inko's quirk is? Attraction of small objects and she uses the movement of her hands to attract them, so if we add both quirks Izuku wouldn't need the holes, it would be a combination, and he would attract the power of the quirks just by putting his hands on people. And again you could refute me, "But Izuku has touched a lot of people with his hands" and I'll answer, Yes, but he was wearing gloves and it seems like he only activated his quirk recently in volume 417 of the manga by the looks of it since it's the first time those lights appeared on his BARE hands WITHOUT gloves, so Horikoshi, you damn genius, is this your way of revealing Dad For One in a plot twist at the end of the manga? Or am I just overthinking it?! Whatever it is, I'm happily sticking with this DFO theory!

Imagine thinking you're quirkless your entire life but somehow getting into UA a freak accident happens, aizawa couldn't save you, all might count save you, no one could save you

You feel the strength drain from your body

A warm wet feeling spreads around your stomach where you were impaled

But at the same time you feel cold

The heat, warmth and life left your fingers, hands, arms

You sit there, tears running down your face as you desperately tried to draw in a breath

You felt yourself choke. Unable to breathe or swallow

Cold

You now belong to death as your eyes grew heavy and the sounds of your teachers and rescuers slowly drowned to nothingness

Then your eyes shot open and you felt your body violently drag through rubble and huge chuncks of concrete...but it didn't hurt you were going through them

You were now outside, you saw teachers and rescuers still trying to get your body

You stand behind, in the last place you were safe

Heart, lungs, liver, nerves

You body slowly came to as you materialize

You suck in a violent gasp of air as you hit the ground. Teachers and rescuers whip around

Quirk: Ghost

Actives when the user dies. This allows them to become a Ghost like creature temporarily while being rewinded back to the last position the user was safe.

It takes 24 hours for the user to be able to do this again. It will not work on natural causes

Okay I made a sick sketch

It's tiny (like on the corner of my sketchbook) but I saw that pose and I was thinking like, okay this is EXACTLY how it looks when he uses his quirk so I scribbled down the pose and then drew him.

I want to make that in big. With markers. And maybe even make a background. And hang it on the wall to Kirishima and Denki.

And I was also thinking of something funny. The way he would describe how he fights with his quirk:

I can use my quirk as a weapon. Just think of it ... like a table. A table isn't dangerous, right? Then you accidentally drop something beneath it, try to pick it up and while getting back up you hit your head against the table. Although, it's just a table, it still hurts, right?

Quirks

This is just me dumping all of my thoughts so bear with me

What are quirks? Like genuinely, what are they? They're genetic, and they influence personality. There are also quirk vestiges which are just the echos of the wielder's consciousness. But what are they really? Sure they are superpowers, they are supposed to be the next step in human evolution. But I have SOOO any more questions!!!

Quirks were an extremely sudden change. They developed and evolved incredibly fast. Seeing as Quirks are a natural development, they would have had to happen via mutation in human genetics. But a development like that, that was this widespread, this diverse, that happened this quickly had to be in the making for years. Since not only babies but teens and kids had been developing quirks right when they started it has to be a few changes that suddenly turned into quirks. But, as I said, quirks are so diverse that it couldn't have been a single, small change. Which brings me to my second question, "How did scientists not notice?" the start of quirks happened somewhere in the 2000s, a few decades after, and maybe even in the 2090s. They have modern tech, and they most likely have ongoing experiments. Why didn't any scientists flag the change? We don't know everything about DNA and which genes do what but we still should've or could've seen the new changes. Did scientists know but didn't publish anything? Did people brush it off as nothing to worry about?

Back to what quirks are. They are genetic, and they can affect personality and are rooted very deeply in the person's consciousness. But how can humans, in a few hundred years, go from us right now to being able to TRANSFORM at will, create things from our bodies, create energy, control things telepathically, and literally make EXPLOSIONS from our hands? The time it took to go from animals to humans took millions of years and in a fraction of the time we managed to actually have SUPERPOWERS, something fictional. They are such a mystery to me. Most magic/power systems have some reasoning. Like its just energy that humans use that just exists in the world. Unlike in comics, quirks are extremely common and diverse and developed FAST, so they aren't your regular abilities.

This brings me a mini theory I have, that quirks were made, or influenced by an outside party. We have always loved and been enamored by fiction. What if someone wanted to bring his favorite comic to reality? What if they were meant to be bioweapons but someone miscalculated? Or does some disease manage to change humanity and take out most of the ones not suited to survive it while possibly strengthening the ones who do? This is just a small thought I had while thinking about quirks.

I'm a science and sci-fi/fiction nerd in case you couldn't tell... but in all seriousness, quirks are very fascinating to me.

Ok, I understand a healing Quirk like Recovery Girls is INCREDIBLY RARE. But think about it, wouldn't other little healing quirks not be so rare? Things like "form a scab at double the speed" kind of thing. Or, heal a wound in half the time: instead of taking a bone months to heal, it heals in half that time. It's not super over powered in my eyes to have something like that, but if you think so let me know, I read it in a really good fanfic once.

But also: What about people who's quirks can be fairly powerful, but aren't really combat quirks. Take Eraserhead for example, his Erasure quirk is crazy good, but all the combat he puts in is hand to hand. I don't understand why we don't have more hand to hand combat with medics who don't necessarily have healing quirks? They have modern medicine and their six years of schooling. (I've looking into a lot of this and 6 years is the minimum for your medical degree in Japan.) They can provide a ton of battle field support.

Idk, it all kind ties into my own story I'm writing and so I wanted to get more opinions and, if you have cool ideas for quirks that could be helpful like for my example: my character has a quirk where they emit a pheromone that reflects their emotions, and use it to flood an individuals conscious. So all they can do is stand there and breathe. That's at 100% which they only resece in combat. In regular use for their work, they use it to soothe the feelings of their patients so it's easier to treat them, and for the ones who pass, they pass knowing they were loved. However, even at maximum output, his quirk offers no healing effects.

But all their medical training and knowledge is from passion and 10 hard years of studying medical works.

So, yeah, lmk what you all think, and if you have cool ideas for non medical quirks that could be beneficial in a medical setting and I'll be sure to credit you on my AO3, whenever this goes up.

i feel like they’d either have identical quirks, quirks that compliment one another or the complete opposite of the other (kinda like being two sides of the same coin or sum shit)

Its time for my favorite saga! The quirk analysis saga (which I will definitely be revisiting again after I've cleared all the rants I've already written)!

I wanna start the saga off with my base theory for everything. By that I mean, this is an entire different thing from canon and is where I think quirks come from. However, in future quirk analysis's I will include one that is based on canon and one that is based on my own theory. Now onto the theory :)

I believe that quirks are advanced form of evolution. My reasoning for this is that a lot of the people of the my hero world have quirks that can be explained by evolution (ex. Mina, Momo, Bakugou, etc.). I’ll get into explanation about a lot of this evolution when it comes to specific people.

You'll see this theory used a lot when it comes to my analysis of Mina and Momos' quirks especially. But, to backtrack on what I said, I think quirks are based on evolution. Every quirk has some way to be explained via science and evolution. Looking at Mina and Momos' quirks are actually where I got this theory from! It's kina hard to explain by itself but I can tell you Minas analysis is next and so you'll see this used more there (^^)

TLDR: I think quirks are based on evolution and have evidence to base this off of that you'll see in future rants.

On my lengthy google of what nitroglycerin actually is I found out it’s commonly used to help relieve pain from heart attacks and angina! (Google angina)

Nitroglycerin relief: this quirk gives its user the ability to produce nitroglycerin from their fingertips. This nitroglycerin can be used to relieve pain from heart attacks and angina by relaxing the blood vessels increasing the amount of blood and oxygen in the heart. However, the nitroglycerin can also be used as an explosive, it would need to be activated but it is a strong explosive material. The downsides of this quirk are, the user has to cause the nitroglycerin to explode themself, nitroglycerin does not relieve all pain and only relieves pain from most heart attacks and angina, when the quirk is overused the users blood flow worsens, not to a dangerous extent, and the user becomes exhausted and gains a headache.

Here’s her quirk:

Hades: This quirk gives its user abilities adjacent to that of a child of hades in Percy Jackson. The user can raise the dead, speak to the dead, and see ghosts. The user is also able to shadow travel and sense when people either die or are dying essentially sensing their life source and if it’s gone out. By sensing people life sources, she’s able to sense where people are and how many people are near/around her even if she can’t see. The downsides of this quirk are, because the user can sense people’s life sources large crowds can get overwhelming and hospitals especially so, when she overuses her quirk she becomes semi-transparent and exhausted, her power to sense people’s life sources also dims making it more difficult for her to sense where people are.

I just realized that I haven’t posted in a little while, I’ve probably disappeared for longer before but still. I also have the flu and I feel like I’m dying or have met death.

But I also recently made a new oc!!

His name is Kei Kobayashi!

And of course I already made a collage of him!

Ink: This quirk gives its user the ability to create and control ink out of their finger tips. When the quirk is in use the user has the ability to drop control of the ink at any time or will the ink back into their fingers. After the user drops control of their ink they are able to regain control of it. The downsides of this quirk are, regardless of the fact that the user can control their ink the ink will stain they’re fingertips and any other part of the users body even if the user did not overuse the quirk, when the quirk is overused the user becomes sluggish and mildly out of it due to quirk overuse exhaustion.

Scars: a scar across her mouth and other one scattered across her body

Quirk:

Musical: this quirk gives its user the ability to sing any song perfectly matching the voice of the original singer or shifting to any voice they wish. When the user sings they can use an ability that matches the lyrics or vibes of the song. Meaning with a song such as T-Rex by K.Flay the user could become a T-Rex or have the strength of one, or with a song such as Ancient Dreams In A Modern Land by Marina the user could go back in time as far as two hours ago or they could temporarily pause time. When the quirk is being used the users eyes glow. If other people join in singing the song it will out less strain on the user and strengthen the abilities of the quirk. The downsides of this quirk are, the user needs to have memorized the song in order to sing it and use their quirk, when the quirk is overused the user gains a sore throat and may be unable to speak for a day or more at most.

This quirk is pretty overpowered since as long as you have a song memorized or you have access to to the lyrics you can pretty much do anything.

This is the other guy oc that I have his name is Jay Nakawata I made him as a sort of father figure for Himiko but he’s like a teen dad who’s trying his best to help out a traumatized kid but he’s never parented in the slightest ever before. But he’s trying really hard.

Anyway here’s some stuff about him!

Age: 24 same age as Dabi or nine years older than class 1a

Height: 5’11

Hair color and length: brown and short

Eye color: dark blue

Scars: a jagged slash scar across his face and a few others scattered around his body

Quirk:

Laser beams: this quirk gives its user the ability to shoot laser beams from their hands. The users hands are immune to their own quirk however the rest of their body is not. The laser beams that the user can shoot are able to burn through metal, even ones with high melting points. The laser will continue in a straight line for twenty feet before fading out. The laser will stay until it becomes twenty feet long, then it will fade out and the user can make another. The laser moves fairly fast and the user can make two at a time. The downsides of the quirk are, only the users hands are immune to the quirk the rest of their body is not, when the quirk is overused the users hands becomes sore and the skin feels thin, the user also suffers from quirk exhaustion.

Jay is more of a support character rather than a protagonist like most of my other oc’s

Quirk:

Explosive touch: this quirk gives its user the ability to make anything they touch with all five fingers explosive. When this quirk is used a visible orange line begins to spread across the object, wherever the line passed is now highly explosive and if fire is near or is it tapped twice or bumped it will explode. The quirk does not work on liquids however it does work on all solids including animals and humans. The user however is immune to their own quirk. When the quirk is used the affect will transfer to everything touching the originally touched object in a mile radius, meaning that if the user were to touch the floor with all five finger the quirk should spread to everything in a mile radius and essentially create a huge bomb destroying the entire area and everyone in it, luckily the line spreads semi slowly so you have time to run. The downsides of this quirk are, the user cannot willingly turn off the quirk only quirk cuffs or erasure can turn of the quirk, however that does not cancel any current affects it only prevents future ones until the quirk is no longer erased, once an item is touch with all five fingers there is no way to stop the quirk, when the quirk is overused the users hands ache and the user feels exhausted, plus there’s a high likelihood that the explosions from the quirk could have injured the user.

Apparently I haven’t already posted about this quirk so I just wrote out all of that.

His quirk is pretty cool and overpowered but he’s just a poor kid.

Nine tailed fox: this quirk gives its user the ability to appear as a beautiful white nine tailed fox, along with the ability to see through peoples lies and see the full truth of what they’re saying or hiding but the user only has this ability in fox form. When in fox form the user has the enhanced hearing, smell and agility of a fox along with their fox form being about six feet tall by the time the user has stopped growing and is a full adult due to the fact that their fox form grows with them. The user also sports sharp claws and fangs in fox form that they can use to attack when in combat. The downsides of this quirk are, the user has no special abilities unless in fox form, when the quirk is overused the users senses become sharper even in human form which can make even just a classroom overwhelming along with the user becoming more tired and it’s harder to be able to understand what the truth is when someone tells a lie, half truth, or is simply hiding their true feelings.

Rat: this quirk gives its user the ability to transform into a rat along with being able to communicate with them. This quirk also gives its user rat ears which make their hearing two times better than most people’s, along with all of that, the quirk gives its user heightened intelligence that allows them to solve complicated math problems in their head. The downsides to this quirk are, due to the users heightened senses they can easily get overwhelmed in large crowds and need specially designed headphones that cover their human and rat ears, when quirk is overused the users hearing becomes more sensitive, their voice becomes squeakier and harder to understand, and they risk temporarily becoming dumber.

Quirk: Rosy floatation. This quirk gives its user the ability to float any item they touch. When the user touches an item and specifically is using their quirk the item will begin to glow pink and they can move it telepathically. When the quirk is in use the users hands and the item they’re floating glows pink. The downsides of this quirk are, when an item is touched and being controlled by the user the item will glow pink no matter what so people can tell when the quirk is in use, when the quirk is overused the user becomes exhausted and nauseous.

I don’t actually have anything really decided for her yet but I want her to be either in mha or dunmeshi

Here’s a quicker version of himikos backstory like I promised

Himikos birth name was Akatani Shinamoru which yes again is the same as another oc but that’s why she changed her name later on

When Himiko was born her parents hated her and abused her

Then when she was five she was diagnosed as quirkless

After that her parents became more abusive

The only light in her life was her friend, Jun Hano

Her and Jun planned to run away together on her half birthday and start their life anew

They were gonna rename themselves as Mei and Tei

But the night before her fifth and a half birthday himikos parents brought someone over to the house

That someone referred to himself as the doctor

Then the doctor killed her parent’s, lit her house on fire, and kidnapped her

She was experimented on for a year and a half

Throughout that year her hair turned white

Her right eye glowed a brighter blue

And her left eye turned white

She also gained three quirks, a teleportation quirk, a regeneration quirk, and an intelligence quirk

Roughly six months into her being stuck with the doctor he stopped the experimentation and started training her

She was taught taekwondo karate and jieitaikakutōjutsu then formed her own fighting style from what she learned

After the year and a half she escaped but ended up being kidnapped again by someone else

This someone else name was Jin Takahashi

Jin ran a fighting ring where villains could fight with each other either with or without quirks

But Jin would also kidnap people and force them into fights to the death

Jin ended up putting Himiko into this fighting ring and she was forced to fight to the death with both adults and kids alike

She was stuck there for three years from age seven to ten and a half

Throughout those three years she was fighting almost every day

She had been forced into so many fights to the death that she had been forced to kill 685 people

But eventually heroes and police found out about this fighting ring and took it down arresting dozens of villains and Jin

But after three years of Himiko being made to fight Jin had constantly told her that if she tried to run she would simply be arrested for killing so many people

So she ran. Himiko then tried to turn her life around by changing her name and calling herself Mei Himiko

She went to the library often and taught herself everything she missed out on learning and more

She learned over ten languages, two types of sign language, and up to college level math, reading, writing, science, history, and more.

After six months of constant study along with hacking into police files to make it seem as though Mei Himiko had always existed and was just another eleven year old who was homeschooled

But also at eleven she decided to try and use her fighting capabilities for good rather than evil and she became the vigilante known as shadow

But eventually after three years she allowed herself to be caught and ended up in a vigilante reform program, she was also adopted by either aizawa or another oc of mine name Rena Itsika

She was also enrolled into class 1a of the UA hero course and is now training to become a hero!

Yay you all finally have her backstory though tbh it’s ever changing

1: both Shinsou and kaminari are adopted by aizawa and were actually rescued from their bio parents by shadow and aizawa!

2: Nezu has an adopted child who’s name is Ichiro Aikawa and they go by they/them pronouns, they weren’t rescued by shadow tho

3: I ship erasermic so they are married!

4: due to me reading a lot of fanfics I have come to love midnight so she is a bit more child friendly in this au and her outfit looks like that because of her quirk coming out of her skin! She also totally a mom friend and is super sweet

5: I hate m!neta so instead of him being in class A we have Shinsou!

I’ve remembered why I stopped writing on wattpad. It’s cuz I lose motivation too fast and can never finish stuff, so in a day or two I’m gonna post just a simple overview of Himiko’s past. But for now I’m gonna show you all another oc of mine

Her names Toshiko Niwa

Eye color: I can’t show it in picrews so I usually just go with random colors but her eyes are like streaks of different colors like the Netflix thing where it looks like string. That’s what her eyes look like

Quirk:

I did borrow this quirk from a fanfic on Ao3 called datastream

Datastream: this quirk gives its user the ability to see streams of data such as, a phone call, a YouTube video, text messages, or any other thing related to tech, and allows the user to access it doing so the user can see and or hear what the stream is and says. The user can also access cameras by tapping into their data stream doing so the user can jump from camera to camera or even tap into hero comms to contact a hero. The user does not have to touch the streams to enter them and is able to both be half in a stream and half still conscious so the user can have a conversation with a hero through a stream whilst still having a conversation with a friend physically. The downsides of this quirk are, even though the user can multitask and both interact with the world whilst still being in a stream if the user wants to fully dive into a stream they can no longer interact with the outside world using their physical body until they tap out of a stream, if fully in a stream the user becomes vulnerable to attack given that they are unable to fight back or even realize they’re being touched, moved, or spoken to, when quirk is overused the user becomes tired, gets headaches, and their eyes hurt as if they had been looking at a screen for too long, they also become more tired.

Sorry for giving up on writing all of Himiko’s back story but it’s never gonna get finished if I keep doing it this way

Angels feathers: this quirk gives its user the ability to take energy from the surrounding area/ people and use it to heal others or themself, the quirk is also a mutant type quirk and gives the user large white wings that glow when the quirk is used, much like Hawks’s quirk the user can detach these feathers and either control them or use them as swords. The user can also take their own energy and use it to heal others though they can only use it as a last resort since it takes away their own energy. The downsides of this quirk are, the user cannot heals themself or others if everything in the surrounding area is dead and they’ve already used their own energy to heal, if the all or most of the users feathers are destroyed it takes multiple days for them to fully grow back and the user cannot fly during that duration tho they can heal, when quirk is overused the users own wounds take longer to heal, the users wings become weaker, and the user becomes more tired and can be injured easier.

No Himiko is not related to Akatani Shinamoru in any way I just used the name twice in the past because I was out of name ideas at the time and by now it’s too late to changer her name

Now when Mei was born her parents were already disappointed because she was born female and they were sexist assholes who wanted a boy so he could “carry on their legacy and become a hero” but apparently a girl couldn’t do that as well.

So of course they mildly abused her it was mostly just mild neglect and yelling but sometimes hitting her if she did something wrong, horrible parenting technique really.

they named her a mix of their names so her legal name was Akatani Shinamoru

I was dumb and named them the same ok?

Her life sucked at home and at school it was ok she didn’t really have any friends except for one, Jun Hano. Jun was her best friend they got along well because her parents also thought she should’ve been born a boy.

Then just a couple weeks before her fifth birthday Jun got a quirk! It was similar to her parents it gave her the ability to see the true nature of people meaning if say a random kid was acting nice she could tell if they were genuine or not.

But a month later Akatani still hadn’t gotten her quirk so her parents took her to the doctors to see why. But the doctor told them the worst possible news.

Akatani was quirkless.

She had the double pinky joint and therefore would not gain a quirk

But it seemed her body should be able to handle a quirk if she had one, her body was fit for whatever quirk she should’ve gotten.

Her mom was able to take energy from the surrounding area and give it to herself allowing her to feel more energized, she could also take energy from people. Her dads quirk allowed him to heal people using the persons own energy and her body seemed to be fit for holding more energy than most people but without a quirk she couldn’t do anything.

When they got home her parents finally showed their anger and beat her.

And it only got worse from there.

Seriously this is when her life had some joy in it, it only gets worse.

Every little thing she did wrong she’d get yelled at and hit for, even just making a little bit of noise would wind up in her getting hit.

Her best friend noticed that Akatani was acting different and when she asked what happened she told her the truth.

She was quirkless.

But Jun didn’t care, so they made a plan, on akatani’s half birthday they would run away together changing their names to Mei and Tei and never looking back.

It would’ve happened but that night her parents had called someone to the house. From what Akatani heard they were talking about her, but she could only barely hear them, until they called for her.

When she came down she was met with what looked to be an old man with odd glasses and a mustache, along with her parents and two other people who looked like bodyguards of sorts wearing all black and carrying firearms.

The weird looking old guy greeted her kindly and said she could simply call him the doctor, he said he was here to help with her quirk problem.

She got a little excited if he was here to help then she’d have a quirk and when she runs away she’d have a better chance at getting a job!

But then it all went to shit, after her parents gave him the money he told the guards to shoot her parents.

And they did.

Her parents were shot, and dead.

Being only five she of course tried to scream but “the doctor” covered her mouth before she could.

The guards then lit her house on fire and ran, with the doctor picking her up and running with them.

She was shoved into the trunk of a car and was stuck in there for what felt like hours crying and realizing she was never gonna get to run away with Jun.

Also I forgot to say, Jun’s name is pronounced like the month June.

When she was finally taken out of the trunk she seemed to be in a large garage it was well lit with white walls and a concrete floor, there was no clutter in the room except for five other vehicles. There was a large white van, a grey Volvo, a medium sized box truck that was blue in the front and its back was entirely white, a blue minivan, and another van but this one was black.

She wasn’t taken towards any of these vehicles though, instead she was taken out of the room and into a hallway, it was small but not too cramped and had the same white walls and concrete floor as the garage except it was a bit darker and had a dozen doors across each wall.

They kept on making seemingly random turns down different hallways in this maze of a building until she was finally taken into a room.

Oh gods she wished she was back home.

The room was medium sized with white tiled walls and matching floors, to the left was a table covered in scalpels, syringes filled with mystery liquids, quirk suppression cuffs and dozens of other things she didn’t know the names of. But the worst part was the middle of the room, there was a chair that looked like a dentists chair but ten times more uncomfortable, it was made of solid steel, had cuffs for the hands, feet, and torso, and had wires coming out of the back of it like those star wars torture devices they often put Jedi in.

She did not want to be put in that chair.

They put her in that chair. She tried to escape the man’s grip when he was putting her in but she was five and he was maybe sixty so he was much stronger than her and he managed to put her in the chair.

The doctor grabbed a syringe filled with a clear liquid and injected it into her arm. Immediately after she felt tired and drowsy, she tried to stay awake but after a few seconds she was out.

She woke up in a small dark room. there was nothing in the room other than her, but it was cold and the floor was hard. She got up and realized she was in what looked like an oversized white t shirt and white shorts, her arms and legs were covered in bandages and her hair was cut into a pixie cut.

Akatani didn’t feel any different than usual so what did he do?

Time skip to six months later cuz I’m lazy and on a swing.

Better question what didn’t the doctor do?

In maybe, six months? She had been put in the chair so many times that at this point she didn’t even fight. Her hair had turned white, from stress or the injections she didn’t know. And now the doctor says he has a special thing for her, whatever that is she honestly doesn’t want to know.

Forgot to say this is what Himiko looked like as a little kid

Now back to the story. Also it’s after the doctor gives her the surprise.

Everything hurt, every single part of her body felt like it was being stabbed by burning knives and she just wanted it to stop. The part that hurt the most was her left eye, whatever the doctor did to it was horrible. before the pain even came in she already couldn’t see out of it and it stung.

She hoped it would stop soon, maybe the doctor would decide that he was done with the experiments and he would send her out on the missions he keeps on talking about. at least then she wouldn’t be in this cell any more.

After what felt like days but was probably only a couple hours the pain finally subsided and only her eye hurt, she still couldn’t see out of her eye but at least she wasn’t in extreme pain only mild pain.

Then the doctor came in.

Great she thought, he’s either here to torture me more or hopefully send me off on one of the missions he says he’s been preparing me for.

It wasn’t a mission, but luckily it wasn’t experimenting either. Instead he was taking her to what he called “the training room” apparently she was going to practice using her quirks and learning different fighting styles and techniques which didn’t sound too bad, especially compared to how her life usually was.

Time skip to six hours later

She takes it back this is almost as bad. She’s been training for hours and the doctor says that she’s only halfway through her training for today. She’s already, practiced her teleportation abilities which she didn’t even know she had until today, she has practiced karate and taekwondo, and now she’s working on what the doctor calls “Jieitaikakutōjutsu” which he said was a military self defense fighting system that focuses on hand to hand, bayonet, and knife fighting.

He also said that after she gets used to fighting in taekwondo, karate and jieitaikakutōjutsu she would work on incorporating them into her own fighting style. Which he said she should be able to start doing in four or five months and should finish in a year. After that she could start going on missions.

She wished she could go on missions now because then at least she could go outside, but at least the experimentation is finally over.

Time skip to four months later.

The doctor says that she can now start incorporating all the fighting styles she’s learned into her own personal style, which should hopefully be a bit funner than this because after four months of almost constant practice she’s tired and bored of doing the same stuff every day. But at least with all this training she gets fed more. She gets one full meal a day along with four five minute water/bathroom breaks a day.

The first thing she has to do is work on slightly altering the moves she’s learned by adding maneuvers from separate techniques. It was fun especially since she got to choose what moves she was altering and what she added to them. She hadn’t really gotten to choose things for most of her life so this was a good change.

Ok so you probably don’t know what jieitaikakutōjutsu is and if you do that’s impressive.

Jieitaikakutōjutsu is a Japanese military self defense fighting style that uses knives, hand to hand, and bayonet fighting.

I found out about this when searching for knife fighting techniques in Japan because himiko was taught knife fighting in her past but has her own fighting style so I picked jieitaikakutōjutsu.

Jieitaikakutōjutsu is pronounced

jee-et-tai-ka-ku-to-jutsu

Which is hard to say but not as hard as

Pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis which is actually my favorite word

Now back to the story!

She’s been been creating her own fighting style for three months now and has gotten pretty good at incorporating different moves into preexisting ones, along with constantly adapting her fighting style mid fight to better defeat enemies. The doctor has also started having her research into different heroes fighting styles, specifically underground heroes since the doctor says she’ll be fighting them more often.

One hero she is especially interested in is Eraserhead who’s an underground hero with a quirk that can erase other quirks and uses a scarf as a support item.

Eraserhead is apparently the top underground hero so the doctor is having her practice using a scarf similar to his so she can counter his attacks.

Time skip to three months later.

The doctor is sending her on her first mission today and she has a plan. A plan to escape.

Yes this place has been okay as of late but she knows that there are better places she could be. Plus she doesn’t want to be fighting heroes, she in fact wants to be one and she can’t do that if she’s their enemy.

Her mission is to infiltrate the musutafu police station and download all the information they have onto a hard drive then bring it back to the doctor unnoticed. Her plan is instead to take the information then also steal some piece of police equipment and use it to take off her cuffs, after that she’ll destroy the usb stick and teleport outside before running away.

I’m gonna leave this here for now because this is already a fanfic at this point so I’ll do it chapter by chapter
