I’ve been feeling really bad mentally for the past few days, but this made me explode with happiness and almost tear up.

Having someone, whose content I really enjoy, take the time to draw something I created is a great feeling.

She appeared on his other side of him, green eyes focused on his face. "Let's go." "He can't leave," Morgana argued, her harsh tone as she glanced at Gosalyn. "He needs to finish this. Darkwing Duck Characters as Arcane Characters

*I only did a few because I couldn’t decide for other ones*

Nega-Gosalyn - Jinx/Powder: Jinx is a tragic character. Compared to her sister Vi, Jinx was not as physically strong and relied on more of her smarts.  But, people usually underestimated her and her ideas didnt work most of the time in her childhood except once that caused dire consequences. This tragedy caused her intense mental trauma and fear of being abandoned. 

Gosalyn - Violet: Vi is Jinx’s older and stronger sister. She is tough, rebellious and cares about her family. When she was young, her and Jinx’s parents died which made Vi want to help her little sister grow. Vi is also not afraid to fight and is great in hand-to-hand combat.

Darkwing- Vander: Vander took in and raised Vi and Jinx when they were kids. He’s also in charge of taking care of the under city where people considered lower class live. Vander loves both of the girls but bonds more with Violet since he taught her how to fight and is trying to teach her leadership. He used to be a stubborn person but has since mellowed down after adopting Jinx and Powder. 

Negaduck- Silco: Silco is an antagonist and lives in the under city but is mostly looking out for himself. He once trusted someone but was betrayed which changed his view of the world. After the tragedy, he took in Jinx and considered her as a daughter. She grew to be the only other person who mattered to him

Launchpad-Benzo: Benzo is Vander’s good friend and sidekick in helping him. He is a nice store owner who takes care of a kid named Ekko who is his assistant. 

Grayson- J. Gander: Grayson is head of the police force for the utopian city and sometimes the under city. She is fair and works with Vander to keep peace in both cities. 

Bonus:

Heimerdinger- Scrooge: Heimerdinger is an immortal man who has considerable power in the utopian city. He is against magic due to an unknown tragedy.

So, @rebellingstagnationblog Geronimo series has been my current obsession for a while now, and @thezoe611 has continued the series with their own really interesting story, Unstoppable.

In the second chapter of the story, there is a long and cute moment of the family talking about GoMax- my favorite ship- having kids. Well, it was more like Launchpad and Goofy gushing over being a respective uncle and grandpa to the kid while Darkwing and Negaduck were threatening Max to not even think about it(we all know those two would gush over the baby).

Anyways, that got me thinking of if Gosalyn and Max can have kids since they are different species, and what their kid would be like. And this is how my GoMax oc child came to be.

I made her a duck instead of a dog because it would be pretty impossible for Gosalyn to have a dog baby(totally not because ducks are easier to draw ha ha).

I gave her some of Max’s qualities like his black hair and buck teeth but they can only be seen when she opens her mouth.

My oc’s personality is a blend of her parents with her being headstrong, active, kind, and a fighter. I would describe her personality as a combo of Yang from RWBY and Cassie Cage from Mortal Kombat.

Also, gave her a prosthetic leg and arm because I wanted to create a character with a physical disability who can kick butt as hard or even harder than someone with all four limbs. She got them from different incidents that I will not talk about until I decide whether I want to write a story for her or not.

Her skills are mostly hand-to-hand combat with her arm shield being used for defense while her gun is for offense when things get crazy. Of course grandpa Negaduck is going to teach her how to handle guns. He wouldn’t be a good one if he didn’t(jk).

She’s a new oc and doesn’t have a name yet but I made dancing one of her hobbies as a reference to the Goofy movies(she’s got the Goof moves). I have some ideas for names like Billie or Zera, but I’m not sold on them right now. Anyone with ideas can comment them below and I’ll pick one.

To end this off, I wanted to say thanks to @rebellingstagnationblog and @thezoe611 for writing stories that brighten my day, and I hope you like this oc.

Got inspired to make my own version of Nega-Morgana by @rebellingstagnationblog. NM will be added to my DW 91 fic universe.

One of the things I really wished Darkwing Duck did was explore the Negaverse more. It was so interesting and had potential to be amazing! The characters I wanted to see more were Nega-Gosalyn and the Friendly Four. Nega-Gosalyn has four dads now and I needed to see it. It would’ve been pure fluff.

You all probably know that Negaduck is my favorite villain in the og show. He’s so interesting and I loved every episode he was in. It would’ve been great to see him in his own dimension where he rules. I remember being pretty shocked that he had his own Gosalyn-any child would be a shock. Negaduck seems like someone who would never care or even take in a child. This made me wonder if there was more to Negaduck that we’ve never seen.

I’ve seen a few people talk about this subject and their reasoning is intriguing. A few of them theorized that the toys Nega-Launchpad stole and brought to the house were for NG. It makes sense since NG would like those. Also, even though Negaduck hates cute things, he lets Nega-Gosalyn wear her dresses and be who she is. That’s what really got me believing that he cares about her.

Ranking Every Boom Studios DW Comic

I finished reading the Boom Studios comics a few days ago and I liked them. Some parts were kind of underwhelming, but it was still enjoyable. I can’t find the Joe Books series and I’m not sure if I should read them or not.

Anyways, here are my rankings and my short explanations:

6. Campaign Carnage

I liked this series but it was the most underwhelming. When I first heard of Suff-rage and her powers, I was super interested but she was underutilized and kind of bland. What should I expect, she’s a one-off villain.

My favorite part was the Darkwarrior Duck callback and Darkwing’s desperation to bring back Morgana. It’s nice to know that they care for each other that much; the show didn’t do a great job displaying that.

5. Dangerous Currency

The crossover was fun and cute, though the story was a bit shaky in some places like the explanation on how Negaduck is the slime/ink, and the ending was meh. I don’t mind that this arc is considered non-canon because there are small mistakes that irk me like Drake not knowing Fenton when he appeared in an episode, and Fenton’s mom not knowing her son isn’t Gizmoduck when she’s worn the suit in the show before. Those things break the immersion for me.

4. Crisis on Infinite Darkwings

This arc was so close to being number 3, but there’s a big reason why that I’ll explain later.

It was a great reference to the famous DC arc and all the other Darkwings were fun to see, especially Quiverwing Duck- his backstory is heartbreaking. I liked that we got more info on Negaduck like his disdain for not being unique and a possible tragic backstory. It was disappointing not knowing more.

The ending was pretty good with bringing back the Tron-splitter and seeing Negaduck’s evil and slightly evil sides(it was funny). The Darkwarrior Duck cameo was also really great. He’s such an underrated character and needs more attention.

And we got more Morgwing development. I may not love them, but they can be cute.

3. F.O.W.L Disposition Arc

FD almost tied with or lost to CID; however, an aspect really changed my opinion.

Morgana finally being characterized as more than a love interest.

Morgana was my second favorite female character-just below Gosalyn-but I still had issues with her. Like, 1. Her magic talent being inconsistent and 2. Only serving as a love interest. She is so interesting and could be an amazing character. It sucked that the creators didn’t give her the time.

Her strong magic power and willingness to sacrifice herself made her out to be a headstrong and powerful sorceress, which is something I wanted to see.

I also really liked that Darkwing’s weakness is showcased here- his ego- and he actually learns how detrimental it is to his work and the world’s safety. And it actually stuck throughout the rest of the series afterwards.

2. The Duck Knight Returns

I loved this arc! It was such a great start to the comics! 😍

First, it tackled a situation the show barely touched- what if DW had to quit crime fighting long term. “Toy Czar Us” kind of tackled this though it was very short. We see how much not being Darkwing does to Drake, he’s depressed and disconnected. His intense ego diminished.

Another thing I love was actually seeing how much Launchpad mattered to Drake. We see him having flashbacks with his close friend and getting upset when something reminds him of their adventures. Drake sometimes even calls Launchpad just to hear his voice. It makes my big Drakepad heart beat even harder, and it’s nice to know that their friendship is not one-sided.

Also, having Megavolt and Darkwing as co-workers was amazing. Peak comedy!

The only thing that’s keeping me from giving this arc a perfect score is Negaduck finding out DW’s secret identity. Mostly how it was handled afterwards. Negaduck finds out his alter ego, even goes to house, yet after that he doesn’t take advantage of that info seriously.

1. Darkwing Annual- Quackerjack’s story

I love love love this story! 😍😍😍

Quackerjack is one of those villains that interests me since we see his origin story like Megavolt’s and Bushroot’s. We get to see more into his mindset and what drove him crazy, such as the discredit he gets for his toy ideas.

Although I’m a Quackervolt shipper, I really like Claire and she was a good way to introduce the less villainous side, and make you feel bad for Quackerjack.

It’s also nice to see Darkwing actually have sympathy for his enemies. I’ve always seen Darkwing and his enemies being kind of the same; they are people who want to be noticed but do it in different ways.

The ending was also amazing yet heartbreaking. We can see Quackerjack contemplating what he has done as he’s walking to Claire’s door. Then we see a red glow and Claire opening the door to a Quackerjack toy. He’s regrets everything he has done and thinks he’s only good enough as a toy. That is so sad and relatable. We’ve always had times when we’ve doubted our worth. This story gives Quackerjack more layers in an enticing story. This gives it a perfect score. It also benefits being a solo comic rather than a series like the others.

From Most to Least Favorite, How Would You Rank the Fearsome 5 Members?

*Note: Just because a member is lower than the others doesn't mean I dislike them. I love all of them.*

1. Negaduck

I love Negaduck! He's fun to watch and both of his origins are great! You sometimes gotta love a villain who just does it have fun.

2. Megavolt

Megavolt always makes me laugh and was my favorite villain until Negaduck showed up. His voice is also really unique and enjoyable to hear.

3. Quackerjack

QJ reminds me of Harley Quinn-one of my favorite DC characters. I enjoy playful villains who doesn't take things seriously. QJ almost got the second spot, but Sparky has a little more space in my heart.

4. Bushroot

I really like Bushroot and feel bad for putting him this low, but he's not as interesting to me as the others higher than him. He is very cute and I wished he had at least a redemption arc in the show or comics.

5. Liquidator

Poor Liquidator. He kind of got the short end of the stick when it comes to appearances. His origin story is unique, though, other than that, he's pretty bland. I remember reading that Tad Stones, the creator, didn't like Liquidator and decided to not give him as much episodes focused on him as the other members.

I don’t know why, but @rebellingstagnationblog interpretation of Negaduck and Gosalyn’s relationship reminds me of Maleficent and Aurora’s in the Maleficent movie, except more badass.

Maleficent and Negaduck, villains, are hardened by trauma and pain caused by other. They are unwilling to love again until a spunky girl young girls come into their lives and change them for the better.

I always found it so sweet that Negaduck has a soft spot for Gosalyn and how it develops throughout the story. It’s inspired me to try writing Darkwing stories, specifically one revolving around Negaduck and Nega-Gosalyn’s relationship. I hope to share it with you guys one day.

I do know why, but I think the Suicide Squad 2016 soundtrack reflects ‘91 Negaduck as a character, especially “Sucker for Pain” and “Wreak Havoc.” Its hard for me to explain without you guys listening to the songs, but I’ll try.

Negaduck seems like the type to not only enjoy others’ pain but also his own. In his head, pain is pleasure. Which is basically what ”Sucker for Pain“ is about.

”Wreak Havoc” is about someone who enjoys causing chaos and loves being bad. There‘s a few lines from the song that resonates Negaduck vibes for me, “The only reason I’m here is to wreak havoc, everybody prayin that I’ll change, yeah, Maybe one day but tomorrow I’ll be back at it,” & “Go against me & you’ll die hard.” The first line explains all the fun has chasing destruction, while the latter line implies that he’s not afraid to kill anyone who goes against him.

‘91 Negaduck Headcanons

Had the same rough home life as Drake, but caved into his inner demons.

Had many(up to around 50) lovers but Nega-Morgana and Nega-Launchpad are the only ones he truly had an emotional connection. 

Hates dogs because he was repeatedly attacked by them. 

Takes his anger out on cute things because his father would violently beat him as a kid for liking “unmanly” things.

Killing or physically hurting children is the one thing Negaduck refuses to do. 

Loves money to compensate for his extremely poor childhood. 

Actually cared for Nega-Gosalyn but didn’t know how to show it, and was upset when the Friendly Four “took” her. 

Pistachio ice cream is his favorite because it reminds of the last good time he had with his mom. 

His natural voice is like Drake’s but he lowered it to be more intimidating. 

Destroyed any record of him before he became Negaduck so no one will know his weaknesses.

List of Ducktales ‘17 Fics I Want To Do One Day

I’ve been getting inspiration to write fanfics and wanted to make a list here. 

List:

-Darkwing Duck Reboot: If either the reboot doesn’t happen or the show doesn’t follow the ‘17 continuity then I’ll write this fic. I have a few ideas but not enough to start storyboarding. It might be a collaboration fic if anyone wants to join.

-‘17 Negaverse: I’ve seen a lot of people make their own Negaverse for the DT reboot. There are a few ideas in my brain and want to make it a fictional reality.

-Morgana & Dickie in the ‘17 Universe: These will be separate fics. I’ve been developing these OCs for a while, and their backstories made me interested in writing.

-Justice Ducks: The Justice Ducks is one of my favorite parts about DWD and want to make my own version.

-DW & Gizmoduck Team-Up: Fenton and Drake’s two-sided relationship interests me and I want to write my take in it. It was such a bummer that they didn’t have their own special.

-‘17 Negaduck’s Return: The most disappointing part about DT ‘17 cancellation was Jim not returning. His final scene was amazing and gave me chills. Like the DWD reboot fic, I plan to write this if the reboot either doesn’t happen or doesn’t follow the ‘17 universe.

Theories on How The Fearsome Four Will Come Back.

Since there are rumors of the DW reboot coming(haven’t seen any recent articles if it’s confirmed), I’m wondering how the Fearsome Five will come to play if the creators continue with the ‘17 universe. I know Negaduck is around, but the Fearsome Four got sucked back into their dimension.

I’ve seen some theories around YouTube and Tumblr, here are the summaries:

1. Jim Starling/Negaduck is going to get the actors who played the Fearsome Four to join him.

2. Negaduck will bring the Fearsome Four back from their dimension.

3. New characters from the ‘17 universe will become the Fearsome Four and join Negaduck.

I think there are more but these theories stood out to me. My favorite one might be the first one because of how interesting it would be. Though, I think the third one would be best since every DW should have something new, like Negaduck. Plus, the change can give this version of Drake more personal enemies.

I had a dream where Negaduck was enemies with (here me out) a pinkie pie/jinx/ fusion at a convention.

Negaduck: I would rather set myself on fire then work with him! (Points to D.W.)

Darkwing: Oh goodie! I’ll go get the lighter.

I can only see Jim Starling as an over-the-top villainy, like since he never played an villain before, he watches all the media of it, and tries to be like it-

It’s not like I hate the grim and gritty version people put in their stories but to me that’s a bit too much for what the character is shown to be…

He will do his over-the-top villain laugh, leave him hanging over a pit full of sharks (or attack squids), and leave the room.

You how Negsy favorite icecream flavor is pistachio nut, I bet his second favorite is like Rum Raisin or Black Licorice!

The fact that the canceled DW reboot had that negaduck was in his 50’s and DW in his 30’s is so funny to me, like imagine a 20 year older having a huge vendetta against you…

He would probably throw his back out if he tried attacking Drakey.

I love the idea of Nega-Morgana being a hero turned villain due to Negaduck! <3

One of my favorite headcanons about the Negaverse, is that Negaduck blew up the Audubon Bay Bridge, so no-one can get in or out of the city through normal means.

This to prevent the citizens from leaving the city to escape the reign of terror or for supplies that aren’t expensive and for outsiders to not disrupt Negaduck’s rule, like powerful rulers like Scrooge… though that leads to another headcanon where they made a deal, not to get involved with each others land…

Well, well, well, I made a small parody of song of Evil Like Me from the Descendants, but instead its Negaduck singing to Jim Starling, Mr. Starling doesn't how to truly be evil, like Negsy is... sorry in advance.

It always seems to slip my mind, on how much Darkwing Duck means to me and makes me happy, hehe

I personally love the idea of Darkwing & Negaduck being forced to work with each other. I mean they would absolutely hate it, and I bet a quarter to half the time, Negaduck would try to kill D.W. They would by only luck it feels to be able solve the case they are working on together. Yet, at the same time they would be good in combat together, they have same fighting skills, and match each other’s weapon ranges. Negaduck would be close range attacker, while D.W. would be the long range attacker.

The content for 1991 Darkwing & 2017 Darkwing meeting each other is shocking low. So I guess I should make some content of it… (this may be slightly confusing to read at times)

“Today has been rough… the crime rate is still so low…” (2017) Darkwing said

“Well, mayor owlson is doing her job properly and well.” (2017) Gosalyn said

“Don’t worry, Drake I’m sure crime will be rampant soon enough.” (2017) Launchpad said

They were coming back their base after a false lead in a St.Canard garbage dump, something about Ramrod going off, despite it being destroyed.

They entered the tower, Darkwing headed the couch, sighing.

“Uhh, doesn’t the base look off?” Gosalyn asked

Darkwing looked around, his technology had a serious downgrade and colors were a bit dull.

“Uhh? Launchpad did you do something?” He asked

“No way D.W., I like the base the way it was”

Suddenly they heard voices coming up to the tower.

“I told you already, no it’s too dangerous!” A voice said

“But, Dad… I saved you so many times I am capable.” Someone replied

“As long as you are under my roof-“ they said back

Darkwing, Gosalyn, and Launchpad were on their toes, had someone found their base? They were ready to defend “their” base. Yet what they did not expect was to see three very familiar looking people. One of this familiar people spotted Darkwing and instead rushed towards him.

“How did you find my base? Negaduck!” (1991) D.W exclaimed

“Your base? This is my base, and who is Negaduck?” Darkwing asked

“Don’t play dumb with me, negaduck!” D.W said

“I think you-“ before Darkwing could finish his respond D.W. attacked him and Darkwing fought back. Meanwhile the other duck in room talked to each other.

“Keen Gear! Are you clone of me? Oh are you made of slime then? You looked cool!” (1991) Gos said

“Uh, Hi? No, I am not a clone or made of slime. Why are in our base?” Gosalyn said

“Your base? This is my- I mean Darkwing duck’s base.” Gos said

“Yeah, I know, I worked with him.” Gosalyn replied

“I never seen you around him, hmm oh maybe Honker will know what’s going on., i asked when I get chance to” Gos said

“Who?” Gosalyn asked

“He is my good friend, now tell me how did you get here?” Gos said

“Well-

Launchpad walked up to Launchpad.

“Hi, I am Launchpad, driver & pilot to Scrooge Mcduck, sidekick of Darkwing Duck, and best friend of Dewy Duck. I like your hat!” (2017) Launchpad said

“Thanks, your hat is pretty great to! I am Launchpad as well, previously driver & pilot to Scrooge Mcduck too, current sidekick of Darkwing Duck, and I used to know the triplets too.” (1991) LP said

Suddenly, a voiced called out “Launchpad, help me catch this villain!” D.W called out

“No, Launchpad help me!” Darkwing called out

Both Launchpads came over, pulling the Darkwing away from each other.

D.W. was dragged away by his Launchpad, he thought to himself. “I don’t think he Negaduck, he would pulled out a chainsaw or bombs or something to harm me by now…”

“Who are you?” D.W asked Darkwing

“I’m the terror the flaps in night, I am the-” Darkwing started

“Ahh, I see your a fan of me! Fans are not allowed in my tower, Gosalyn was this your doing?” D.W. said

“I only did one time, (well that you know of). But Darkwing, I think these might different versions of us. That are stuck here ” Gos said

“No, that ridiculous… D.W. looked at the copies around him! That’s it you guys are different versions of us?” D.W. said proudly

“What she said that!” Gosalyn said pointing to Gos.

Gos replied with “ he always like this, don’t worry.”

“Yes, what they said, we are different versions of you… really?” Darkwing said looking at his Gosalyn

“I think so, it explains why the bad looks different and why we look similar to them.” Gosalyn said

“Hmm okay.” Darkwing said

“Don’t worry, less superior version of me, I will find a way to help you out this dimension!” D.W. said

Darkwing shook this head, he thought to himself “This version of me, reminds a lot of Darkwing I grew up with… but he has a Launchpad and Gosalyn, jeez I hope we can find out what really happened.”

Somewhere in bad parts of St.Canard

“So, your telling me, there are other versions of me in different universes, including you.” A familiar gruff voice said

“Yes, yet with every version of me there are seems to be a Darkwing!” A similar sounding voice said

“Darkwing! I can’t stand him! If I could get hands of him…” they replied

“If you take care of my Darkwing, I will take of yours.” The familiar voice said

“DEAL!” They said immediately

The two yellow-dressed ducks shook hands snickering, yet both of had one hand behind their back crossed.

Some other things, I thought about but didn’t put in. The Gosalyns talking about their grandfathers, DT Gos noticing that DW Gos calls DW Dad. The Darkwing talking and hating Gizmoduck, expect DT17 likes Fenton and DW D.W disliking him. The Launchpad being stupid, at least D.W. Launchpad can fly better than DT17. A small story beginner, on an old idea I had.

Donald was waiting for his new roommate, the last time he tried it, his “good” old pal Storkules decide to show his face and ruin his home… but it was fine it all got fixed anyways. It has been a year since the incident, and a lot has happened.

Donald was on his house boat, waiting for his new roomie. Who was supposedly coming very soon, he even went out way to prepare some snacks. Hopefully this roommate won’t be as bad as the last one. Donald heard someone on his boat, he came out and saw his new roommate. They looked a bit strange, but better than the last one.

They worse a shifty grin, a tattered red hat and yellow jacket underneath was a red turtleneck, it reminded Donald of someone but he couldn’t place it. “Welcome, I’m Donald Duck want me to show you around?” Donald said “huh? Sure…” the new roomie replied. Donald showed him around the boat, it did not take long. They arrived back out in the deck. “About the huge mansion-“ “oh, that my Uncle Scrooge’s, you are not allowed to go inside.” “Got it.” He replied. “Oh be right back, I forgot about the snacks…” The yellow-jacketed duck, look at the mansion with a glare in his eyes, Donald came back with snacks. Which he took. “Oh I didn’t catch your name, what is it?” “Just call me Negaduck.” “Alright… Negaduck wanted me to help carry your stuff to your room.” Donald looked around he only had one box. “No, it’s fine…” Donald left his roommate up in deck, before he decide to do some knitting. Negaduck brought the box to his room, making sure everything was still inside. His multiple knifes, guns, bombs, a mini chainsaw and other tools were all safe. Though it is bummer, he couldn’t bring his attack squid, it would of drawn too much attention. Negaduck was ready, for as soon as night set, he will get his revenge on that fake Darkwing.

What would Beelzebub be like negaverse? Would he be angel trying to bring Negaduck into Heaven? I don’t know but it seems funny.

Darkwing Duck Au Idea: Instead of Negaduck being a separate person, he was an entity formed instead Darkwing’s head, who comes out when Darkwing feels terrible or powerless. Similar to T.K.O from OK KO Let’s Be Heroes! Just little guy inside D.W.’s head. It doesn’t need be an AU, just maybe Morgana casted a spell wrong. Poor both of them though…
