I was working on a different one-shot about his dying goodbye to April but it got WAY TOO SAD and I couldn’t finish it, hehe 😅 Maybe someday I’ll work up the emotional courage, but today is not that day lol!

Loss of a Twin

Hey all! Here’s a little Disaster Twin angst I drew during college, lol. Poor Donnie’s face during this scene was priceless: the shock, too petrified to move, the knowledge that his life just changed forever. It’s obvious that he never thought he would lose his twin—it never occurred to him. They were two halves of the same turtle.

He broke, unable to move or process the grief.

Hey guys! Welcome to my first little comic strip! It started out with just Leo by himself in a corner and just one picture, but a mishap gave me inspiration to turn it into a comic, lol. And besides, who doesn’t want more Rise Leo angst?? (Rhetorical question)

(BTW I might come out with a longer comic version of this with more slides, but I wanted to release the short version first. Idk, I like the simplicity of this one but have ideas for more Kraang torment. Let me know what you think!)

Whatever you do, don't think about the fact that the constant communication between Leo and Casey during this part means that the channel was likely open the whole time, so Leo's whole family could hear him getting the absolute shit beat out of him while thousands of feet below, they could do nothing.

after rewatching the rottmnt movie over and over again i can conclude that this movie is amazing (even tho that was the only thing running through my mind when i first watched it)

rottmnt movie spoilers ahead !!

i cannot belive how absolutely amazing this movie is everything about it just clicks. from the action to the emotional bits its beautiful. the characters are amazing as always (missed them so much) and i just cannot get enough of this movie !! casey is amazing. i thought that the “i’m from the future” bit would be built on later in the movie but no, we get put right into it at the very beginning of the movie !! (leo also said badass heheh) i absolutely loved the show and loved the movie even more. it gets into your feels right away with just the beginning part.

i felt like i needed to add this in because ever since i noticed this detail it makes me sob

leo has raph and donnie’s masks on his katana ☹️☹️

i cannot stress this enough, the animation in this movie is impeccable.

and and !! leo and raphs (mostly raph) arguing through out this movie is so perfect

a scene that made my stomach DROP was this scene

everything about this scene and the scene after is devastatingly perfect. the silence when leo notices that raph saved his life, leo calling after him as he gets sent away in an escape pod, and the muffled voices when he gets to the lair is so chefs kiss. the way he lashes out at casey is also amazing.

i love this movie so much you don’t understand
