Serial Designation J, what the heckkk??

(Spoilers for episode seven and eight of Murder Drones!!!!!!!!!)

Serial Designation J from Murder Drones is a pretty complicated character. If you want to understand why she teamed up with Cyn in episode eight, you need to use lots of brain power to read into certain lines. But anyway, this is my super-awesome explanation as to why J teamed up with Cyn!!

J's relationship with Tessa is apparently clear in episode five. You can easily see that the two are very close, and even are best friends. "There's humans coming, and I've only ever yakked to robots, J!" (Episode: Home) In episode five, there is also a scene that shows how much they care about one another: Tessa and J clinked their glasses, and Tessa who was reminded of the noise of chains locking her up, rubbed her own wrist and winced in pain. J looked at her with concern and sadness, so Tessa assured her that she was alright.

As we can see just from these two examples, J and Tessa definitely care for each other quite a bit. As we know, Cyn killed Tessa and wore her skin. It could easily be assumed that anything Cyn would do has a purpose and would benefit her in some way, but this just doesn't make sense, as it doesn't do her any favors. With this thought process, it's obvious to come to the conclusion that she didn't have a reason; she just wanted to because she's sadistic, and she particularly wanted to disturb J, specifically (yes, I know that sentence is redundant). Because J was so close to Tessa, and likely was forced to watch Tessa die at the hands of Cyn, she was very disconcerted by Cyn wearing Tessa's skin and even mimicking her voice, so it was easy for Cyn to manipulate her. "If I promise you anything, it tricked me, too." (Episode: The Absolute End)

If you were to ask yourself what you would do in J's situation, I'm sure that you would want to think logically. What do you do if somebody who you've never liked in the first place kills your best friend, wore their skin, mimicked their voice, and tried to act like them? On top of that, this person is super powerful and would be nearly impossible to defeat. Now, they are telling you that they won't hurt you if you do something for them. Anybody would take the deal at this point, so that's what J did. In an already distressed state, J realized that there was basically no way that Cyn would ever lose, so theoretically, it would be the safest option to do what she wants. "I promise, it's better on the winning team as a team." (Episode: The Absolute End)

After J had teamed up with Cyn, she also got V in on it, too. "You said we do our jobs, and that thing leaves us alone!" (Episode: The Absolute End) Both J and V kept the secret from N, and this is implied to be part of their deal with Cyn. This is particularly shown in episode eight after V tries to tell N about how the "Tessa" that they know is actually Cyn, and then Cyn says to her, "Do your job, and I leave you and N alone. Right, V?" (Episode: The Absolute End). Since we know that J and V both had made a deal with Cyn, we can infer that they had always known since the beginning, and have been being manipulated by Cyn in real time during the time of the show. Of course the way that V was manipulated by Cyn is heartbreaking as well (and I will make a post about her in the future 😉), the way that J was manipulated is horrifying. You may have seen memes online about J being William Afton from FNAF, because every time we think she dies she tends to come back eventually. But the truth is that it was very intentional of Cyn to make J basically immortal, because in that case J would never be capable of rebelling against her. If she rebelled, Cyn could torture her and or simply kill her and bring her back with all the memories. J couldn't take her own life because Cyn would bring her back. Because J thought that There was no way to beat Cyn, she figured that getting on her good side was the safest often. She just thought that there was literally no way that she could go against Cyn without being tortured forever.

(This is just a theory of mine, but I find it likely that the reason that J would call Cyn "Boss" just like she called Tessa "Boss", is so she could try to familiarize Cyn and make her seem more like Tessa in order to make the situation feel better. But that's JUST A THEORY-- A GAAMMMMEE THEORY)

MURDER DRONES Series Finale [TRAILER]

I honestly have no idea how to start this; I have so many things to say and yet very little at the same time. I'm very sad that MD will end soon but I'm very glad that we got something from it even if it is short lived. I honestly hope that they hit us with a 180 and smack us with a season 2 ep1 out of no where but I guess we can only dream and find out when the next episode drops.

It's a shame that N didn't get one, so I am gonna fix it this year (very poorly)

I already figured but...

*changes j’s oil supply with black coffee to create chaos* good luck scrubs

...*sigh* ...ok...who let J into the caffeine...

J HAS depression I F—CKING KNEW IT

Post Series designs for the DDs!

N is settling in just fine! Finally proposed to Uzi 3 years after the Solver's defeat, getting a shit-ton of therapy after everything that's happened, and helping the Worker Drones demolish and rebuild the surface world! Cyn stitched the moon and sun on his shorts, at any time you can find 3-4 cool rocks in his pockets.

V doesn't hang around the Bunker too often but mostly crashes at N and Uzi's place or Lizzy's— she's happy exploring beyond their old hunting territory and bringing back any exciting finds or coordinates of other Worker Drone settlements she terrorizes discovers. She's out here living her best life free as can be!

J is,, not doing too well. Decades of being reluctantly compliant with Solver's orders until it's all she knew, so deep into the deception that she started believing the lies herself and having all that familiar song and dance (watching the Solver destroy yet another planet) ripped away in a single night? Not good on the mind, apparently.

J avoids all other Drones unless she's hunting them for oil, and if she is spotted it's likely near one of the ship pods and goes combative immediately if approached. She's VERY protective of the sling bag she always has on; inside being Tessa's cremated remains. It's all J has left.

She's utterly lost on what else to do. No boss, no orders, and finally coming to terms with what she's been through and what she's done to aid in the destruction of countless lives and entire planets. Her goal is to leave Copper-9 to go back to Earth (there is no Earth anymore) and finally lay Tessa to rest (They both hated Earth but it was the last place they were happy) (she'll never succeed and this girl needs CLOSURE).

Ok so I had a thought about murder drones unsurprising I know but picture this

Uzi and n eventually wait to explore space since they probably have multiple space at this and at least one of the disassembly drones had have a blueprint or something

They make v and j tag along

J is depressed after the events of finale and has tried to keep her herself busy to prevent her from thinking about Tessa even by working on repairing the spaceship

V is chaotic as per freaking usual

And cyn is stuck with them

The gang discovers aliens exist

Uzi often gets in trouble with her encounters

N finds the immortal dog planet and pets all of them

And they act like the guardians of the galaxy

I feel like there should be couple more characters with them

J: honestly at this point I just want to be taken out

Uzi: by like a sniper or on a date

J: surprise me

🎉🎉THREE YEARS SINCE THIS PILOT AIRED 🎉🎉

There weren’t many examples that I can find in episode 1 of the amazing digital circus of similarities

mainly because Tessa only shows up for one episode and pomni was mainly focused on finding an exit

While you could see that Tessa trying break out of her chains as similar way of pomni trying to find exit

there are a lot more in episode two

For example Pomni treats gummigoo like a real and not just an NPC

She doesn’t leave gummigoo alone to find a way to map and doesn’t make him feel any less real then herself

She even offered him a place at the circus

It’s Similar to how Tessa treats the worker drones in the manor

She treats them like real people not just mindless servants that replaceable when they get broken or step out of line

Ya know I had a crack theory a while back that

Pomni was Tessa

Mainly because of the fact that cyn said this to Tessa

And since we all know what happened there

I thought, hey wouldn’t it be funny if Tessa was stuck in some digital space as a sort of way for cyn to keep her promise?

But that would be crazy right

RIGHT?

And now an average conversation between N, V, and Uzi

Uzi: oil is cool and all. but have you ever had someone care about you?

Uzi: me neither. Pass the arm

N & V: …are we a joke to you

V: listen we’ve been on crazy adventures

N: whatever it is we’ll understand

Cyn: hello [smile]

V & N: there is nothing about this we understand!

J: but you only gave me one can of oil

Uzi: *pulling out her railgun* yep

V: Uzi which one of us is your favorite

Uzi: I don’t have favorites you both annoy me equally

V:*walks away doubtful*

Uzi: *turns to N* its you, one hundred percent you

N: :D

Thad: Uzi I dare you—

N: Uzi isn’t allowed to accept any dares.

Lizzy: what?! why?

Uzi: I have no regards for my own personal safety.

Lizzy: …ok then V I dare you to—

N: V also isn’t allowed to accept dares.

V: I also have no regards for anyone else’s safety other then you idiots.

Uzi: I once dared her to bring me a head of a sentinel and she come back covered in oil with the head

Uzi:*walks into the room*…. The game

N:*drops his batteries*

Uzi: and what part of that was out of character for me?

Uzi: So you’re essentially a ghost now

Uzi: and only me and the talking tail can see you

Cyn: hello

N: *walks into the room* hey Uzi, hey cyn, hello shadowy figure with red eyes

Doll:…цто [what]

Uzi: you seriously didn’t consider that cyn infect them with the solver before she sent them here

Cyn: idiot

Oh boy the stuff I’m making up j’s and cyn’s characters in my head would baffle you’re minds

x I plead the fifth

I SWEAR TO THE SOLVER OF THE ABSOLUTE FABRIC OF THE UNIVERSE, THE VOID, AND THE EXPONENTIAL END!!

EVERY CHARACTER IN MURDER DRONES ARE A MOOD

They did say their are other exo plants similar to copper-9 or maybe she just gonna explore deep space

And where exactly is she planning to go?

Back where she came from?

Where is that?

So many unanswered questions.

Oh no murder drones is ending in 3 days

Yelp guess I’ll do what I always do when my favorite shows come to an end

That is the plot twist of all time and could totally happen!!!

You know what would be cool? If in episode 8, when N confronts J to state how Cyn killed Tessa, J just smirks and states “You believe me to be a fool? Of course I know Cyn was wearing Tessa’s former shell. Tessa’s idea, by the way.”

Before N can process her words, he has to block the sword from an unseen Disassembly Drone, the armband reading the same as the documents seen in episode 4, this supposed Serial Designation S.

As the two combatants tactically retreat, this S speaks in a very familiar Aussie tone, “Your reflexes are as sharp as ever, N.”

To which all N says is “Tessa?!”

I feel like doodling rotund squad today.
