Toya attended a boarding school, aka training with the hero commission, for a couple years before he died, the week he died was the week he was allowed to come back home.
Toya arrived late at night which meant that Shoto had already gone to sleep.
Shoto wanted to be a hero, and looked up to his brother. Shoto was excited to see Toya again and wanted to show him how he had improved his quirk.
Endeavor found out that Toya was training and not at boarding school and they argue. Toya says that the commission has taught him so much about his quirk and he actually has friends (Hawks) now. They continue arguing about how shitty Endeavor is until Toya leaves and says that he’ll show Endeavor how much he’s improved and that he can still be a hero. Toya goes to the mountain or whatever and like fucking dies or whatever.
Shoto’s like fucking asleep during this so when he wakes up looking for Toya and Fuyumi has to break the news to him and he’s so fucking sad now. Loser. Jkjkj
TRANS DEKUSQUAD HEADCANONS
Izuku: Izuku realized he was trans when he was quite young, possibly in elementary school. He struggled with understanding and expressing his identity at first. Izuku came out to his mom, Inko, when he was around 10 years old. He was nervous but prepared a heartfelt explanation. Inko responded with unconditional love, saying, You’re my Izuku, no matter what. He initially kept it private, waiting until he was more comfortable before sharing it with others. Izuku struggles with dysphoria occasionally, particularly when he compares himself to others. He tends to overthink and self-critique, but he uses journaling as an outlet to process these feelings. He keeps a private journal dedicated to his own journey, where he writes affirmations and documents his progress, much like his hero analysis notebooks. Training helps him combat dysphoria, as physical strength and growth remind him of how far he’s come. All Might becomes a pivotal figure in Izuku’s life, offering not only hero mentorship but also subtle emotional support. Though they don’t talk directly about Izuku’s trans identity, All Might’s belief in him reinforces Izuku’s confidence. Ochaco Uraraka is one of the first classmates Izuku tells. She immediately supports him and cheers him on, helping him feel safe and accepted. Iida Tenya is unwavering in his support, offering practical help when Izuku needs it and standing up for him if anyone says anything hurtful. Bakugo Katsuki initially struggles to adjust but never questions Izuku’s identity. Over time, he learns to express his support in his own gruff way, like saying, You’re still a nerd, but I guess you’re my nerd.
Shoto: Shoto realizes he’s transgender around the time he starts learning to fully accept himself. His struggles with his family and his quirks make him more introspective, leading him to explore his gender identity during his high school years. Shoto starts binding his chest, feeling more comfortable and confident in his body. He may have had some moments of self-consciousness at first but grows to feel more at home in his own skin. Bakugo, despite his rough exterior, is surprisingly protective and fiercely loyal, standing up for Shoto if anyone disrespects him. While Shoto is generally stoic, he has moments of dysphoria that make him retreat inwardly. He may sometimes feel like he’s not measuring up to his own expectations or the ones placed on him by others. But he pushes forward, using his determination to create a path toward self-acceptance.
Lida: Tenya’s realization that he is transgender happens during his teenage years, possibly around the start of high school. Growing up in a family with a strict sense of duty and discipline, it takes time for Tenya to understand and accept his true gender identity. He spends a lot of time reflecting on how he feels, especially after coming to terms with his values and his role as both a hero and an individual. Tenya’s family, especially his mother and older brother Tensei, are initially confused but ultimately supportive when Tenya comes out to them. Tenya would start binding as a way to relieve dysphoria. He’s very cautious about it and might even be self-conscious at first, given his sense of discipline and perfectionism. Over time, though, he becomes more comfortable with it, especially as he sees how his friends react with nothing but acceptance. As a person who is incredibly disciplined and hardworking, Tenya feels pressure to live up to the standard.
Uraraka: Ochaco might realize she’s transgender during her time at U.A. The more she grows, the more she starts questioning her gender identity, eventually coming to terms with being a woman, which feels more authentic to her. While she had always been feminine and nurturing, there was a period of self-reflection where she realized her gender didn't fully align with how others saw her and how she felt inside. Ochaco’s family is very supportive when she comes out. Her parents, especially her mother, have always instilled confidence in her, encouraging her to pursue her dreams. The support might come as a surprise to her, as she expected some hesitancy from her traditional parents, but their love for her is unconditional. Her family works with her to make her transition as smooth as possible, helping her navigate the emotional and social challenges that come with it. Ochaco may experience some gender dysphoria during her transition, especially in relation to how her body changes. As someone who’s always been energetic and athletic, she might have some challenges in reconciling her physical self with her inner sense of identity. However, her determination to live authentically helps her push through these tough moments. She becomes more confident as she learns to embrace her body, quirks, and femininity.
Asui: Tsuyu might realize she’s transgender in her early teens, around the time she starts developing a deeper sense of who she is and what it means to be comfortable in her own body. Growing up, she always felt comfortable in her skin, but as she matures, she starts to understand that her identity as a woman doesn't completely match the gender others assumed her to be. Her self-discovery is gradual, and she comes to terms with it quietly, taking her time to understand and embrace it. Midoriya is one of the first to support her, offering a listening ear and comforting words. Uraraka, who shares Tsuyu’s values of empathy and caring, is particularly close to her and often checks in to make sure Tsuyu is doing okay emotionally. Even Bakugo, who may struggle with expressing emotions, respects her identity and makes sure to stand up for her if anyone disrespects her.
It was a stupid dare, but Midoriya wasn’t one to back down.
On an average Saturday, Midoriya and a couple of his close friends decided to hang out. Iida, Todoroki, Uraraka, Tsuyu, and Midoriya all made the group decision to have a nice picnic.
After preparing a bunch of snacks, grabbing drinks, and finding a nice but old blanket to use, the group headed outside. There was a giant field behind 1-A alliance where they set up their picnic.
They played card games, chatted about their classmates, and enjoyed all the snacks each person contributed. It was a beautiful day and despite the peaceful atmosphere, somehow truth or dare started.
After a couple rounds of silly/random questions and harmless dares, an interesting exchange occurred.
Uraraka smiled as she turned her entire body to Midoriya. “Deku! Truth or dare?”
“Dare!” shouted Midoriya excitedly, finding it exciting to finally play the game after spending countless years dreaming of having the friends to.
“I dare you… to wear a skirt our next time visiting the mall!” fired Uraraka eagerly after coming up with a dare.
Tsuyu perked up with a wide smile. “Good one Uraraka!”
“That’s highly inappropriate, Uraraka,” declared Iida loudly. Yet his face showed extreme amusement rather than any sternness to back up his criticism.
Todoroki looked Midoriya up and down before giving a thumbs up. “I’d like to see Midoriya in a skirt.”
Midoriya fell onto his back, covering his face in horror. “I can’t possibly do that! I’m going to be in the public eye! What if someone posts a picture or I get harassed!”
“Don’t whine, you big baby. You’ll be with us the entire time so no one’s going to harass you. Besides, when has someone ever recognized us when we go to the mall?” questioned Uraraka as she thinned her lips.
Tsuyu was still quietly laughing at Midoriya's reaction. “It doesn’t matter. The dare has been made and it doesn’t harm anyone.”
Midoriya threw his arms out to his sides as he cried to the sky. “I’m done with this game!”
“Yeah, we’ve been out here for hours now,” agreed Iida, looking up at the beautiful blue sky. “Besides, I promised to call my brother today.”
“Momo promised to cut my hair today so I should probably go and track her down,” huffed Uraraka, leaning back as she tightly gripped her knees.
Midoriya locked eyes with Todoroki before he smiled. “Want to go train?”
Todoroki returned the soft smile and nodded gently. “I’d like that.”
“I’m going to see if any of the girls want to go hit the onsen. I’m in desperate need of a spa day,” groaned Tsuyu as she rose to her feet and stretched her back.
Uraraka perked up with an excited smile. “Wait until Momo finishes my hair, and I’ll join you! I could definitely spend hours relaxing.”
Midoriya chuckled, cracking his knuckles before turning to Uraraka and Tsuyu. “That’s not a bad idea. I may take a trip after training.”
Iida chopped his hand after fixing his glasses instinctively. “I’ll join you Midoriya! Today’s all about relaxation.”
“I’m going too,” announced Todoroki as he situated himself next to Midoriya.
The group quickly cleaned up, headed off to do what they needed, and hit up the onsen. All the girls grouped together to enjoy the hot spring the school offered. Midoriya, Todoroki, and Iida met up as well and went to their respective onsen, letting the warm water soothe their sore muscles and wash away their stress.
Two weeks passed from that eventful hangout and Mina proposed the great idea of going shopping. It had been a while since UA had become a boarding school so many people had lists of things they needed and stuff they ran out of but hadn’t had time to get.
While going to the mall sounded wonderful to the majority of class 1-A, there was a small group who was enveloped in chaos. Midoriya looked mortified while Uraraka, Tsuyu, and Iida were all staring at him with a knowing smile. Todoroki didn’t recall the dare and seemed to be interested in spending a bunch of his father’s money.
Midoriya was dragged off by Uraraka to her room with Tsuyu right on the duo’s tails. As Midoriya was shoved onto Uraraka’s bed, the two ladies were digging through clothes only to find that there was nothing they specifically wanted Midoriya to wear.
Midoriya was still laying on the bed recovering from being dragged and tossed around as Tsuyu had pulled out her phone to make an important call.
“Tsuyu? What’s up?” inquired Momo softly from the other end of the call.
“I need your help finding a skirt that would look good on Midoriya,” answered Tsuyu bluntly, not bothering to give context upfront.
The group was met with silence. After fearing she scared off Momo, Tsuyu went to speak. Surprisingly, Momo beat Tsuyu to speak and perplexed, “Why do you need a skirt that Midoriya would look good in?”
Uraraka couldn’t hold back her laughter as she truthfully explained, “A couple weeks ago, we dared Midoriya to wear a skirt the next time we went to the mall. We were trying to find something for Midoriya to wear, but I have nothing that would work.”
“Oh, in that case I’ll be right over! I can just make something I think would complement Midoriya,” exclaimed Momo happily, more than willing to produce something specifically for Midoriya.
While Uraraka and Tsuyu were desperately thanking Momo for being willing to get involved in their problem, Midoriya was panicking. He couldn’t believe his friends were taking this seriously. He knew that clothes didn’t belong to one specific gender, but he wasn’t comfortable wearing a short skirt.
Midoriya struggled even wearing gym shorts out in public. On the rare occasions he did, it was in the warmer months for short trips or private workouts.
Despite Midoriya’s mind running a thousand miles a minute, Momo arrived at Uraraka's room and was quick to get Midoriya’s measurements. Uraraka and Tsuyu offered some design ideas, but Momo already knew what she wanted to make for Midoriya.
While Uraraka and Tsuyu cared about Midoriya, they were still his friends and wanted him to feel embarrassed. That was the point of the dare.
Momo wanted to assure Midoriya would be as comfortable as possible. She created a high-waisted skirt that flowed all the way down to rest right above his ankles. The skirt was flowy and in a light green color. The fabric was smooth, light, and silky. Still, she wanted to give Uraraka and Tsuyu their fun and added girly dark green flowers all over the bottom and gave the skirt a slit up to the knee on the left side.
The skirt was made in an instant and swiftly placed in Midoriya’s arms. Momo smiled softly as she instructed, “I’d wear that with a light yellow, almost cream-colored shirt!”
Midoriya shook his head with bright red cheeks. “I don’t own a shirt like that. I only own the stuff for my school uniform and graphic tees.”
Momo chuckled fondly at Midoriya before making him a light-yellow tee shirt. It wasn’t baggy like his usual shirts, but it wasn’t tight either. Nonetheless, Momo had worked her magic and made Midoriya a perfect outfit for the dare.
After quickly getting dressed once all the girls filed out of Uraraka’s room, Midoriya stared at himself in the mirror. He couldn’t deny that he did feel pretty. The longer he stared at himself, the more similarities he saw between him and his mother. It was nice.
Midoriya spun in a circle, watching as the dress twisted and flew with his sharp movements. He smoothed out the shirt and grinned at how well it complimented the skirt. The skirt covered enough of his body he was insecure about. Still, his leg muscles were curvy and were prominent against the silk fabric.
Midoriya quickly adjusted his black arm band over his large scar and smiled at the finished result. “Alright, you can come in.”
Uraraka, Tsuyu, and Momo quickly returned to the room only to loudly gasp at the sight before them. Crashing to her knees, Uraraka cried out. “Oh my god he’s beautiful!”
“You look really good Midoriya,” complimented Tsuyu calmly as she gently patted Uraraka’s head.
Momo smiled brightly, clapping her hands together. “It looks amazing on you just as I expected! I hope you like it a bit even if it is out of your comfort zone.”
Midoriya bowed aggressively before Momo. “I love it! Thank you so much for making this for me! You really didn’t have to, but you did anyway so I’m grateful!”
“Nonsense, its what friends do! Anyways, we should probably hurry up. I’m sure the others are already waiting for us,” reminded Momo, already halfway out the door.
Uraraka squeaked, throwing herself up. “You’re right! If you don’t mind, could you wait outside my room for a bit Deku?”
“I don’t mind at all!” reassured Midoriya as he followed out after Momo. Tsuyu was quick to follow Midoriya and headed off to her own room.
Standing in the hallway, Midoriya was left alone with his thoughts. Despite that large bit of his mind burning with embarrassment and dread of having to let his classmate see him in a skirt, there was a part of him that was scarily unbothered.
There had been many days where his scars bothered him more than they should have, but he was able to push past any insecurities he had. It seemed he felt the same way about the skirt.
Uraraka was ready in a matter of minutes and reunited with Midoriya in the hallway. Together they made their way down to the common room where everyone was gathering. All conversations quickly died as everyone's focus turned to Midoriya.
It was clear that everyone was expecting an explanation, but Midoriya got a last-minute idea to not address the elephant in the room. Instead of explaining he dared to wear a skirt, he made his way over to where Todoroki and Iida were with a smile.
“Hey guys!” greeted Midoriya happily.
Todoroki slowly blinked a couple of times before smiling. “Hello Midoriya. You look nice.”
Midoriya flashed Todoroki a bright smile, slipping his phone into one of the wonderful pockets Momo gifted him with. “Thank you! Are you ready to blow through some money?”
“Yes, I am. Do you have your list ready?” asked Todoroki quickly, flashing Enji’s credit card with an excitement that was rare to see on his usual stoic face.
“Of course I do, I have all the latest All Might merchandise in a neat list,” whooped Midoriya eagerly, doing his best to contain the true level of his excitement.
Iida fixed his glasses as he aggressively cleared his throat. “I have to admit, the skirt suits you well.”
Midoriya shot Iida with a strong thumb-up. “Thank you! Tsuyu called Momo for help.”
Kirishima, the first person brave enough to disrupt whatever staring contest the rest of the class was participating in, walked over to where the three were. “Woah Midoriya. Not that I'm complaining, but what’s with the skirt?”
“Oh, I was dared to wear one the next time I went to the mall by Uraraka,” revealed Midoriya bluntly, doing his best to not signal he was freaking out deep down.
Kirishima tried covering his red face, but Midoriya easily saw behind the facade. “You make me feel like a dude in the Victorian era seeing a woman’s ankle for the first time. It feels scandalous to see this.”
Midoriya’s face bloomed a beautiful shade of red at the oddly flattering and embarrassing comment. “Oh, uh… sorry?”
“I didn’t mean it like that! I mean I think you look really attractive in that!” shouted Kirishima, now being the one to capture the entire class's attention.
Kirishima and Midoriya were both crouching by the ground, covering their flushed faces. They were both ready to die of embarrassment. Midoriya peaked through his fingers to find Kirishima doing the exact same thing.
Having a single ounce of confidence to answer, Midoriya mumbled, “Thank you.”
Kaminari was more than happy to ruin the moment and shouted, “These bitches gay!”
“Glad to see you got the balls to confess Shitty Hair,” cackled Bakugo, thrilled to see the wonderful opportunity to embarrass Kirishima and Midoriya simultaneously.
It was safe to say that one single dare managed to create such a dramatic domino effect that Midoriya got a boyfriend. No one was complaining considering they got an entire day of Midoriya in a skirt and they were able to witness the bloom of a shocking relationship.
There was never a dull moment with class 1-A.
A/N: I wrote this in my universities library in between my exams. If the quality is bad blame my fried brain 😟🫵
After the sludge villain incident, All Might waited a second too long and missed Izuku. Izuku never got trained by his hero. Izuku never got into U.A. High. Izuku never became a hero. Shinso was in class 1-A, replacing the spot Izuku should’ve been. Mirio ended up obtaining the One for All quirk and as a result, died shortly after the war.
Katsuki had matured during his time at U.A. High and was riddled with guilt. He wasn’t proud of his past self and the mistakes he made. He knew he was responsible for Izuku giving up on his dream. He knew what he had done was unforgivable, but he wanted to apologize.
Little did Katsuki know, Izuku was a famous hero support gear inventor. He worked for the best of the best and was a hero's favorite.
One day Katsuki, Shoto, and Eijiro were out eating lunch. It was the one day all three were off and they wanted to enjoy having a nice meal in town.
Eijiro had recently returned back from his honeymoon with Mina so he was happy to spend some time with his pals. He wanted to brag about his time with his wife.
Katsuki and Shoto were still single. They hadn’t anticipated hero life would get in the way of having a love life. They knew it would get in the way due to the scheduling conflicts, but there was a list of issues that would arise. The extent of it could them off guard.
Izuku was strolling down the street. He had grabbed some lunch and bought Inko a birthday gift. Now he was on his way back to his studio to wrap up some hero costumes. He spotted the hero trio and got a little excited. Pulling out his phone, Izuku pulled up the contacts app and pulled up the phone number option.
Izuku approached the three with a pokerface. The three had been talking so it took a moment for Izuku’s presence to be noticed. Eijiro was the one to first see Izuku and brightly smiled.
“Oh! Hey Midoriya,” greeted the hero. Mina had been the one to introduce Eijiro to Midoriya.
Izuku turned his phone around to show Shoto his screen, remaining silent. His screen had the number pad on display. Katsuki was staring at Izuku in shock. Izuku was stunning.
Izuku was wearing a white button-up. The sleeves were rolled up to his elbows to reveal his muscular arms. The top two buttons were left undone to reveal his fair, freckled skin. He was sporting a long skirt that rested at his ankles. The skirt was recognized as a very pricy piece from one of the most expensive clothing brands. His ears were littered with piercings. He also had a nose piercing. His skin glowed and his lips were a beautiful rosy pink. His eyes were still wide and beautiful, full of emotion despite his poker face. If it wasn’t for his natural beauty, the enchanting jewelry that glimmered in the sunlight would’ve made Katsuki evaporate.
Shoto slowly took the phone, his cheeks heating up and his eyes ever so slightly widening. “Are you asking me for my number?”
Midoriya responded with a single nod and pointed towards the phone.
Eijiro was loving this, covering his mouth to hide his huge smile. The Izuku Midoriya was asking the number two hero Shoto for his number. What an insane couple they’d make. He was so excited for his bro. Katsuki finally let reality settle in his stomach, Izuku was here for one thing and one thing only: Shoto Todoroki.
Shoto put in his number with a small smile. He was clearly flattered and flustered that someone so beautiful would approach him. He typed in his name quickly before handing the phone back to Izuku.
Izuku took the phone, took a good look at the contact information, and then looked directly at Shoto. “Thanks, Shoto-kun,” chirped Izuku, flashing a bashful smile after holding a poker face through the whole interaction.
“Kay, bye guys,” said Izuku sweetly, before pocketing his phone and adjusting his bags. Turning on his heel, Izuku walked off, flawlessly slipping on sunglasses. The three watched him leave, still in a state of disbelief at what they just saw.
Shoto glowed bright red, covering his face as he melted into his seat. Eijiro clapped his hands, laughing. “No way man! You have Midoriya chasing after you! Imagine being the one to give him the hots!”
Katsuki raised a brow, shaking his head. “Wait. Back up. How the hell do you know who he is?”
Eijiro paused momentarily before waving his hand. “Hold up! How do you not know about him? Midoriya is a well-established hero support gear engineer. Mina actually told me to start having my gear made by him. He’s super popular. All the top heroes go to him.”
Katsuki smiled a bit, happy to hear Midoriya didn’t completely give up on the hero world. “Well, that’s good to hear. I guess I should switch to him as well.”
“Totally! You’ll immediately notice a difference in the quality of your costume,” laughed Eijiro, loving how even Katsuki was infatuated with Izuku.
Shoto was still in disbelief. He couldn't comprehend he was approached, remaining happily quiet for a bit.
Shoto spent a lot of time with Izuku. Katsuki tagged along occasionally, trying to rebuild his broken relationship with Izuku. Izuku was apprehensive in the beginning, giving the blond a cold shoulder. Despite his shortness, Izuku accepted Katsuki’s request and would manufacture his costumes.
Eventually, Shoto and Izuku started dating. The two became a popular couple.
Shoto was a serious and mysterious hero, but genuinely a sweetheart. Izuku was smart and known for his sassy attitude, but was also a sweetheart. They were like putty in each other's hands, in love with being in love.
When they eventually did tie the knot, Eijiro revealed he had taken a video of Izuku asking Shoto for his number. Katsuki had displayed it during his speech at their wedding reception. Izuku was bright red, embarrassed that was how he acted.
Izuku hadn't realized Katsuki had been there. He felt a bit stupid for acting so indifferent. After all, that was the first time Katsuki had seen him in years. Still, even if he hadn’t become a hero, he had a wonderful husband and his childhood best friend. He couldn’t have been more grateful.
The end!
For kids, turning four was the year that would make or break them. In a hero-based society, quirks dictated worth.
Izuku’s life was considered over the moment he was confirmed to be quirkless. After losing everyone who cared for him and being bullied by those he was close with for everything he said or did, Izuku shut down.
Izuku developed symptoms of a severe social phobia at the ripe age of six. Inko was shattered, watching as her brilliant and bright child faded away. Not only did she start getting reports from the school that Izuku wasn’t speaking at all, he no longer talked with her.
Midoriya pointed and shook his head to speak. With the silence, Izuku started to cry a lot more. Despite all of that, Izuku did technically speak every day. It was only one phrase. Inko could barely hear it with Izuku's face buried in her shoulder.
“I love you, Mom.”
Izuku never left the house and strayed far away from the playground after he returned home with bruises one eventful day. Inko didn’t want him to leave anyways. Inko felt better knowing he was safe at home. Even after Izuku went completely mute at six, he still had aspirations to become a hero. He continued his hobby of writing in his notebooks and buying All Might merchandise.
Izuku's shut-in habits carried on for the rest of elementary all the way through middle school. Izuku had no friends and he didn’t bother trying to pursue having a social life. Having no distractions allowed him to focus on school. He had the highest score in his class for a reason. He often tied with Katsuki for first place in terms of intelligence. Katsuki didn’t like that.
Even if Izuku admired Katsuki from afar, he never let his biggest bully notice. Izuku avoided Katsuki to the best of his ability. Even if Izuku made effort to stay away, Katsuki chased. He'd never admit it, but he stalked Izuku.
Katsuki hadn't planned on spying on Izuku in the beginning. He assumed Izuku was ignoring him to act higher than him. Then it turned into spying. It was a shock to Katsuki after following Izuku, to find seeing that he refused to speak to anyone. If necessary, he’d use sign language to convey a message or write it down.
Once it became clear to Katsuki that Izuku was mute and not ignoring him, the situation shifted a bit. Suddenly he waited for the moment when he'd hear Midoriya's voice again. He wanted to know if it deepened or if it was still high-pitched and girly. Soon it sank in that he'd most likely never hear Midoriya's voice again.
In most of their classes, when you were called on, you answered the question on the board. You didn’t have to really say it out loud unless it was necessary for the subject matter. Izuku was able to get through school with close to no problems. He endured the bullying and pushed forward.
Inko had done her best to help. She tried everything in the book: speech therapy and child psychologists, and she sought out a pediatrician. Not much could be done. She tried all the tricks they offered her: shaping, self-modeling, and the list goes on.
It became clear the trigger of it was bullying and the traumatizing experience he endured at the ripe age of four. His dreams were shattered and everyone turned their back on him at a time when he needed support the most.
Izuku did see a therapist to open up about his bullying, but still only ever used sign language. When Izuku was being confronted by his bullies (classmates and teachers) he never once spoke. He had no desire to be a part of the world that surrounded him. He enjoyed submerging himself in the quiet.
Despite the odds, Izuku managed to save Katsuki from the sludge villain and impress Toshinori. Izuku had spoken to Toshinori, feeling safe and excited enough to use his words. Just like that, Izuku was on his way to obtaining the most power quirk to currently exist.
Izuku built a really strong bond with Toshinori, discussing his life and how he was selectively mute. Toshinori was grateful Izuku opened up about his life. While Izuku dedicated ten months to training from U.A. Toshinori dedicated ten months to learning sign language. While he didn’t have to use it to speak to Izuku, he wanted to make it easy for Izuku to talk to him.
Izuku probably had no one in his life that he could easily talk to by using sign. Izuku most likely had to write everything out for people to understand. It wasn’t ideal when he was Izuku’s mentor.
Izuku makes it into U.A. High and kept to himself. On the first day Uraraka thanked Midoriya for saving her. Iida greeted Izuku, beyond impressed with Izuku’s bravery. Izuku made it known he was mute, but he could hear. While it didn’t make them hate him, it kinda created a barrier in terms of communication. Everyone was beyond nice, but Izuku didn’t really click with anyone.
Being the current wielder of One for All, Izuku took control of how to handle his quirk development. As a result, Izuku was more open with Aizawa. He explained that he didn’t have a lot of experience with his quirk. His body had to become strong enough to withstand the tole his quirk would have on him. Aizawa recognized that Izuku had spent his time preparing for his quirk since he couldn’t train something he legitimately couldn’t use.
Aizawa was the second person to earn Izuku’s trust. Izuku still didn’t say more than a few words and he didn't speak to Aizawa if others were present. No other teachers or students had heard Midoriya’s voice.
Kirishima and Todoroki were the first two to hear Midoriya’s voice out of the class. Katsuki was also there, but it was the first time he’d heard Izuku speak since he was six.
It was during the USJ attack. Izuku leaped into action to save Toshinori.
“You stupid villain!”
If it hadn’t been in the heat of the moment, the three would’ve been more surprised by him speaking rather than the fact Izuku was about to die. Katsuki was undeniably unnerved. He was so used to the idea of Izuku’s voice still being exactly how it was nine years ago. It really got to him when Izuku’s voice was significantly deeper and he sounded so angry you could hear the words ripping through his vocal cords.
Then the sports festival came around, it went smoothly at the start. Izuku won the first event, had a great group during the second event, and was now in the final event. Izuku was against Shinso first. Ojiro was very aware Izuku was mute, but he was now aware Izuku could speak if he chose to. After filling in Izuku about Shinso’s ability to brainwash a person once they speak, Izuku thanked Ojiro. It meant a lot to him for Ojiro to seek Midoriya out to help him.
When the round started, Shinso went on a tangent. Izuku listened but ignored the anger that brewed in his gut. Shinso may have been saying those things simply to provoke Izuku, but it was extremely disrespectful for his life story to be assumed by someone he never met before.
Izuku had to fight quirkless considering he could really hurt Shinso if he used his quirk. He couldn't control his output so there was a slim chance he could kill Shinso. So they duked it out. It didn’t take too long for Izuku to knock Shinso out of bounds.
When going against Todoroki, Izuku knew what he was dealing with. Todoroki had told Izuku about his reasons for not using his second quirk: fire.
Midoriya understood what Todoroki was feeling. The effects of how he was treated by being quirkless resulted in a long list of problems. Izuku couldn’t begin to imagine the effects abuse had on him, not to mention the dysfunctional family not providing any help.
Izuku saw past all of that and knew Todoroki needed help. While he wasn’t going to throw away the competition, he wasn’t going to let Todoroki struggle either.
Izuku found himself yelling at Todoroki. Izuku wanted to test the waters, but ultimately just had to push Todoroki’s buttons. Despite the pain both Todoroki and Izuku were enduring from their battle. This match was a lot more than just winning the sports festival.
Then came workplace internships to gain experience. Hosu was under attack and the Stain incident occurred. Izuku managed to become a “true hero” alongside All Might. It was impressive considering Izuku is the second person Stain has claimed to be a true hero. The situation brought Izuku, Todoroki, and Iida closer together.
When final exams rolled around, working with Katsuki to go against Toshinori was a strange situation. Katsuki was still beyond temperamental. Everyone knew the two didn’t along and Katsuki was still hostile towards Izuku. The fight was brutal and the two teens had their air knocked out of their lungs more times than they could count.
Izuku still had yet to speak directly to Katsuki. Katsuki overheard Izuku talking, but Izuku still hadn’t spoken to Katsuki. Imagine his surprise when he is punched in his puke-covered face by Izuku to hear his yelling.
“Don’t you dare say you’d rather lose!”
The final exams ended and summer arrived. Summer would've gone great yet their "summer vacation: went horribly wrong. The league of villains decided to ambush the teens.
Izuku hadn't spoken the entire trip until he was alone with Kota. He hated seeing Kota give up on the world just like he did. After all the child was only five. In hopes to change Kota’s fate, he spoke up.
“If you reject it that harshly, the only person getting hurt is yourself,” explained Izuku, patient with the kid who had an explosive personality like Katsuki.
While Kota didn’t react well to Izuku’s advice, he was enraptured by Izuku’s voice. When he kicked Midoriya in the balls, Mandalay shunned him but also revealed Midoriya was mute.
Muscular appears and he is out for blood. Muscular tried to kill Kota and Izuku was not going to let it happen. In a fit of panic and rage, Izuku screamed out. Seeing Kota use his quirk in desperation ignited a fire in him.
“As if… I’d let you kill him!”
Not even moments later, Katsuki was kidnapped and in the midst of despair, Izuku couldn’t stop the scream that echoed through the forest. That also didn’t stop his scream that conjoined with the crowds in the final battle between All Might and All for One. It seemed as if the world was coming back together just to fall apart again.
During the provisional hero license exam, Izuku once again had to scream. It was targeted at Todoroki and Yoarashi for almost getting Shindo killed.
“Dammit! What are you two doing!”
Izuku’s blunt choice of words helped the two get their asses back into order and focus on the mission at hand. Soon enough the provisional hero license exam ended and the results were in.
While Todoroki and Katsuki were away for their required remedial course, Izuku would face his biggest battle yet. Alongside the big three, a handful of his classmates, and some pro heroes, Izuku was to rescue a wonderful girl name Eri and help defeat the villain Overhaul.
Izuku was a lot more vocal in this fight for Eri’s sake. Despite his mind holding him back at the thought of others hearing, he shut it down and kept his focus on Eri. Nothing matter except saving Eri. Calling out to Eri was the most freeing and horribly exhilarating thing.
After recovery and returning back to school, it was time to prepare for the school festival. For a bit, things were perfect. Izuku could fall back into the shadows and relax. He didn’t have to speak and could enjoy time with Mirio and Eri.
Eri was amazed that Izuku was selectively mute. That meant she was super special for Izuku to have spoken to her. Izuku was fond of her reaction, flashing her a bright smile.
One weekend class 1-A wanted to go to the mall. Aizawa decided it was also the perfect time to show Eri the outside world. Eri stuck with Izuku, missing him from not seeing him much after the school festival.
Todoroki and Katsuki for some odd reason were the two that wandered around Izuku. You could blame their curiosity on Eri. She was stuck on his hip yet they had no idea how she knew Izuku. The mission Izuku was a part of was confidential.
Things never went smoothly with class 1-A. Aizawa had taken Eri for a bit while Izuku went to the bathroom. Despite his keen eye, Aizawa lost Eri. Izuku knew something fishy was happening. The last time he was in the mall, he was attacked by Shigaraki.
Half of the class stayed inside the mall while the other half was to observe the outside in case she wandered off far. Izuku, Todoroki, and Katsuki are stationed outside. Izuku was on the top floor of the mall, running around on the catwalk.
Izuku has no clue where to look or what to do. The panic settled in and people were everywhere. While everything in his head is screaming at him to return to the quiet and retreat, Izuku talked a deep breath and calls out into the world.
“Eri-chan!”
Izuku was turning around in circles, his mind reeling at the fact she could be anywhere. Todoroki and Katsuki heard Izuku call out and started head over. While they were trying to get to Izuku, Izuku spotted something out of the ordinary.
A car was approaching. Whoever was at the wheel drove sporadically. Taking a look at the diver, he immediately recognized the man as a villain. Seeing no one was in the car, Izuku went to work.
Stepping onto the railing, Izuku jumped off and down a level. Izuku ran forward, launching himself down the building. Once reaching the ground, Izuku landed right before the speeding car. Katsuki was blasting his way over, screaming for Izuku to get out of the way. From his view, the driver was now trying to swerve out of the way, but they weren’t going to make it.
Todoroki was sending out ice, trying to build an ice barrier between Izuku and the car. Despite their worries, Izuku had it under control. Izuku turned away from the car, drew back his leg, and t-boned the car with a single kick.
Katsuki and Todoroki stilled, seeing Izuku demolish the car with ease. When the two caught up to Izuku, they soon realized this was going to be the getaway driver. Moments later Aizawa alerts everyone Eri was found and the villain was arrested. Todoroki informs Aizawa about what happened and another police officer was sent their way.
Izuku and Eri were reunited. Eri jumped into Izuku’s arms and Izuku rested her on his hip. When the police came for a statement, Izuku grabbed a pen and wrote it down. He was not in the mood to talk.
Todoroki had no problem with Izuku’s silence and sighed to himself. “I thought you were going to die back there.”
“Yeah! What the hell was that nerd! Trying to get yourself killed?” shouted Katsuki.
Izuku smirked at the two before shrugging and walking away with Eri. While Katsuki was left standing there with a pissed frown, Todoroki mindlessly followed after his friend with a smile.
Silence was a bitch.
The end!
Many students in Midoriya’s class took an interest in music. Jiro knew how to play more than one instrument, not including her singing. Bakugo played the drums. Kaminari and Tokoyami played guitar. Momo was familiar with the keyboard. Midoriya found it awesome so many people had a little hobby on the side.
Midoriya had a point in his life where he had an endless list of hobbies. When he was at his lowest in middle school, he filled the void with countless activities. Midoriya did martial arts, wrote his own stories (mainly All Might fanfiction), hero analysis (quirk analysis), skateboarding, ice shaking, ran a hero blog, at-home yoga, and the list continued. Inko watched her son purse many different activities fondly, letting him figure out what he wanted to do with his life.
Even though Midoriya was seen as weak and pathetic, he was incredible at everything he did. Midoriya won ice skating competitions. Midoriya learned difficult skateboarding tricks. His hero blog blew up and was extremely popular. His hero analysis spanned over 13 books. Midoriya trained his body to handle more complex and taunting positions and poses in his yoga programs. Midoriya bumped up levels steadily in his martial art classes. Midoriya’s writing because popular as well, often being seen on accounts that recommended fan fiction.
Midoriya put one hundred and ten percent into everything he did. He wanted to prove to himself he wasn’t worthless. He wanted to prove that he was just as capable as anyone else to do any basic hobby. While being physical was always a good way for him to produce endorphins and boost his mood, Midoriya found one specific hobby capturing his attention the most.
Guitar.
There was something so exhilarating about it all. The freedom to play anything and everything. The sensation of memorizing which hand positions made which chords. The callous that grew on his fingers from constant playing. It was addictive. Midoriya would often head to a studio to mess around and get most of his practice in. Living in an apartment with thin walls meant playing instruments was forbidden.
Midoriya learned most things on his own and gained enough revenue from his competition winnings to buy his own guitar. It was a sexy instrument. As much as Midoriya hated to admit it, everything about the guitar reminded him of Bakugo. He remained in denial even as he paid for it in cash. Despite the sight of the guitar, Midoriya was in love with it for many other reasons.
Now with Midoriya being in U.A. and having all his time dedicated to hero work, he dropped almost all of his hobbies. He applied his ice skating training to his hero training, but didn’t skate and didn’t complete. Midoriya didn’t keep up with martial arts, focusing more on gymnastic-type moves in his fighting style. Midoriya stopped writing fan fiction, focusing mainly on his hero analysis. Midoriya stopped skateboarding, replacing that time with running and extra training.
Whenever class 1-A split up into the two groups for the school festival, Midoriya was dying to reveal he played guitar. Besides, he wasn’t coordinated when it came to dancing. It feel awkward to him unlike how he felt with executing fighting moves. Despite his desire to be a part of the band, he was thrown into the larger crowd of dancers. Thankfully, he was able to learn a dance routine very well because of his experience as an ice skater. It was still two completely different things, but using prior knowledge never failed to give him a push.
Time flew by and the war was over, the world was healing, and life somewhat went back to normal. Midoriya finally had the biggest weight fall off his shoulders and he could think about the little things again. They were in their second year with new dorm building and new room arrangements. It was no surprise Midoriya was on the same floor as Todoroki and Katsuki. He wasn’t complaining, he didn’t have to worry about Aoyama’s stalking or Mineta’s advances.
Midoriya also changed a lot because of the war. His room still had the big All Might poster from Sir Nighteye and couple figures, but almost everything else was packed away. He’d have a room dedicated to merchandise whenever he buys a house or rents and apartment, but keeping it in a safe place was the best for him.
One thing he did bring to the dorms from his room back at his mom’s apartment was his guitar. He did want to pick it back up. He had found himself longing for the callouses on his fingers to be caused by excessive guitar playing. The only awkward thing is he would probably disturb the people sleeping above him, below him, and beside him.
Midoriya looked at his guitar at a loss on how to play it in the dorm. He wasn’t about to rent out a studio so he could play it. Suddenly he realized he could just use headphones and felt like slapping himself in the face. Grabbing his amp and connecting it to his guitar, Midoriya then took his headphones and connected them to the amp. He could practice in peace.
As time passed, Midoriya found he finally felt more connected to his hobby. He purchased a customized Eraserhead guitar strap. Midoriya also had a Dynamite sticker, a Shoto sticker and an All Might sticker. Accessorizing is always fun. Finally the guitar was spunked-up a bit.
It was the weekend, more specifically the one day a week they got off at U.A. High. No one had any plans and it was supposed to be a relaxing day. Midoriya looked at his guitar and knew he was going to perfect the one cover he was working on. Midoriya moved out onto the small balcony they had with his guitar. The sun was warm and the breeze was chilling.
Midoriya had his amp on the lowest setting. Loud enough for him to hear, but still quiet enough to not disturb anyone. It was a different experience to not have his playing blast out his ear drums. Midoriya took a deep breath and started playing, enjoying himself.
The song she chose to play was fairly popular, but not in Japan. He heard the tune on social media. He followed a lot of heroes outside of Japan, since he was a fanboy. It was an edit of an American hero. The beautiful melody captured Midoriya’s attention. The song was Midoriya’s new obsession. It didn’t take long for him to master the song so he could play it without even looking at his finger placement.
Midoriya was able to play the bass part on his phone so he’d have the complete sound. He was no singer and he was far from good at English, but he could hum to his heart’s content. He swayed, letting the cords vibrate in his chest.
Todoroki and Bakugo were planning on doing some studying since exams were coming up. They decided inviting Midoriya would make sense as he was incredibly smart. They all had their own weak points and strong points. One persons strength could make up for the others weakness. They all equaled each other out.
They were used to walking right into his room unannounced so when Todoroki opened the door the two stilled at the sound of music. They made their way into the room and saw Midoriya out of his balcony with the guitar. He was humming, gently dancing to the music with closed eyes. He was clearly lost in the music, by the way he was acting.
Suddenly he stopped humming and started playing the best part of the song. His head bounced as he played, a joyful smile on his lips as he played. Midoriya mindlessly bounced to the beat with closed eyes. The sun glowed against his skin, mesmerizing, Bakugo and Todoroki.
The two had seen everything that Midoriya had gone through. Watching him dance and play the guitar with a real smile made their hearts pound in their chests.
Bakugo and Todoroki were knocked out of their daze with a shout. Midoriya had turned around and spotted the two, eyes wide. Initially his eyes had been filled with fear, but settled into relief. Danger sense hadn’t gone off so he didn’t expect anyone to magically be in the room.
“Kacchan. Shoto. Did I disturb you?” questioned Midoriya, worried he had been too loud.
Todoroki shook his head, still speechless. Bakugo was able to get over his shock and approached Midoriya. “Hell no. Where did you learn to play?”
Midoriya smiled, setting his guitar down and turning off the amp. “I mean I could play since I was in middle school, but I didn’t start playing seriously until lately.”
“Well you’re really good. You should’ve played for the school festival,” complimented Todoroki, sitting down on Midoriya’s bed.
Midoriya blushed, putting his equipment away. “Thank you. I’m still a bit rusty, but I hope to improve.”
Bakugo nodded, crossing his arms with an evil smirk. “Good, because I wanna see if you can keep up with my drumming.”
“Really!” gasped Midoriya, his jaw falling with excited eyes.
Todoroki stepped in before Bakugo barked out some nonsensical nonsense. “I’d like to listen to you play a lot more.”
Midoriya crashed onto the bed beside Todoroki, turning his head to his best friend. “Feel free to just come in and listen. I usually have my headphones on, but I can start playing out loud if you like it enough.”
Todoroki nodded, closing his eyes as he felt comfortable enough to nap. Midoriya smiled at the quiet confirmation and turned to Bakugo. “Kacchan, what did you need?”
“Studying,” stated Bakugo shortly, crushing Midoriya with his weight.
Midoriya sighed happily, snuggling into his side. “Okay. Exams are coming up pretty soon.”
The three all remained cuddled together, now enjoying the breeze coming in from Midoriya’s balcony. It was in moments like these that solidified the trio’s bond. They had already been inseparable, but in moments like these, nothing could break the unconditional love they had for one another.
Izuku Midoriya was familiar with grief. Throughout his life, his precious heart loved too much. So when tragedy struck, the pain oftentimes felt unbearable. His generosity was taken advantage of far too many times. His compassion was abused. He lost people faster than he gained. Izuku Midoriya was very familiar with grief.
His father disappeared for a job across the world. Hisashi was too busy to send a text. He was too busy to say happy birthday. He was never there. All he was, was an idea. Only the thought of him existed to Izuku. The grief he felt from losing someone he never knew hurt the worst.
The people Izuku considered friends left him at the drop of a hat. No one stuck around. No one defended him. They changed faster than Izuku could comprehend. One second they played in the sand and in the next they were throwing sand at him. They were no longer people Izuku knew.
Izuku lost the one person he desired the most. Katsuki Bakugo became a star. Something so far away he’d never dream of being able to touch. Katsuki glowed and shined brilliantly. He was perfect in Izuku’s eyes. Izuku would chase Katsuki, refusing to give up. While the new version of his friend wasn’t tasteful, Izuku still knew how amazing Katsuki was deep down.
As Izuku grew up so did his list of losses. Quirkless people that he would meet on social media died. Once he got into U.A. he gained a lot of friends and strong adult figures, but just like in the past, people still left. His teachers died, many heroes died, villains died, and innocent civilians died. Midoriya at one point ran away, having to lose everyone he cared about to keep them safe. He watched the world crumble around him. Some of the people he held closest almost became memories.
Through all of it, Izuku persevered. He dealt with grief in many different ways. His method always changed and alternated depending on what and how.
Izuku was now in the middle of his third year at U.A. and couldn’t have been happier. His friends were alive, his teachers were alive, and villains were at an all-time low since the rise of quirks decades ago. Heroes were still needed by all means, but the League of Villains no longer existed and no war was about to break out.
Izuku had time to visit Eri and Kota more often as his workload was not nearly as big as it was in his first year attending U.A. The kids grew so much within two years. One day Aizawa informed Izuku he would need a babysitter for Eri. Izuku dropped everything to do so. Izuku took her out to the school’s garden, finding it a beautiful day to go outside.
Katsuki and Shoto got asked by Hatsume to go get Izuku quickly. She needed his opinion on some gear she was making for a first-year. They wanted recommendations and Hatsume knew asking the quirk analyst would help shorten down her list of ideas. The duo tracked him down to the garden with Eri after asking around.
Eri was currently weaving some flowers together, mimicking Izuku’s instructions. Izuku had asked about Aizawa and how she enjoyed living with him. Eri was more than happy to talk about her father, but suddenly she went quiet.
“Eri-chan? Is something wrong?” asked Izuku, worried that the chattering girl suddenly went silent.
Eri seemed to be contemplating something before looking up at Izuku. “Mister Deku, I have a question.”
“Go ahead,” encouraged Izuku, knowing Eri would ask no matter what. She knew she could ask Izuku anything.
Eri sat down the half-weaved flowers on the ground and focused on Izuku. “What is your Dad like? I can’t remember you ever telling me about him.”
“Oh, that’s because I never met him Eri. He went away for work before I got a chance to remember him,” revealed Midoriya, speaking to her in a soft tone.
“Why was he away for work for so long?” questioned Eri, not understanding why Izuku’s dad just wouldn’t be around.
Izuku shrugged, weaving Eri’s flowers for her. “I don’t know. His work was too important I suppose.”
Eri frowned, sad Izuku’s dad wasn’t around. “What about others?”
“Others?” repeated Izuku back to Eri, confused about what she meant.
“Yeah. The grandpas and grandmas and stuff. All of those people!” revealed Eri, a chipper grin on her face.
“Well, when I was young… they seemed to leave,” chuckled Izuku, unable to bring himself to tell her why.
Eri’s eyes widened, shocked Izuku was a lot like her. “Why did they all leave?”
Katsuki and Shoto arrived at the garden, spotting the two. They approached and saw the two talking. The expressions on Eri and Izuku’s faces signaled they were having a serious conversation. Katsuki walked right over, shamelessly snooping. Shoto went right alongside Katsuki. He wanted to know what Izuku was talking about.
Izuku was quick to come up with something, anything to keep Eri from getting too upset. He raised his head to see the sky peek through the leaves of the tree they were under.
“Sometimes special people come into our lives, stay for a bit, and then they have to go.”
Eri frowned, scooting closer to Izuku. “But that’s sad.”
“It is,” agreed Izuku solemnly. Izuku returned his gaze to Eri, resting his hands on the cloth of his slacks, smoothing out the wrinkles. He remembers how it felt to lose Toshinori. The news that Toshinori wouldn’t be around for much longer struck him in the gut so hard he couldn’t move. He couldn’t lie and say that it wasn’t hard. He smiled softly at her, tilting his head to the side. “But the bit where they were here was happy wasn’t it? Like Lemillion. When he was around, those were happy times.”
Eri’s eyes lit up, seeing the point Izuku was making. She giggled, a bright smile appearing as she nodded. “Yes! I brought his quirk back!”
Izuku hummed, nodding his head in acknowledgment. He recalled how monumental of a moment that was for everyone. Still, the thought reminded him of the war where no one walked away a winner. He pushed those feelings down, finding unconditional love for the girl he saw as his little sister.
“Maybe that makes it all worth it,” chuckled Midoriya, looking down at the flowers before putting one in her hair.
Eri smiled, touching the flower happily. She could understand what Izuku was saying. She missed Mirio always being around, but the time when he was around was a happy time. It made the time he was away bearable.
Shoto stood there, gripping the fabric of his shirt. He could feel his heart pound beneath his knuckles. The expression on Izuku’s face gnawed at him. The way Izuku said everything so mindlessly made Shoto realize Izuku thought of loss, a lot. Shoto lost a lot in his life, yet he couldn’t begin to deal with the grief in healthy ways. It took outside help to get to the point he was currently at. Even with the help he got, he couldn’t say there was anything that made it worth it. Not losing Toya, Rei, and the list of others he lost.
Katsuki watched with a blank expression. No matter what Izuku did, he couldn’t hide anything from Katsuki. Katsuki could see the strain in that smile. He could see the exhaustion replace the hope that was once in Izuku’s eyes. It made his palms sweaty. The way he felt was similar to the way a person would get when they had an itch they couldn’t scratch.
Katsuki loved Izuku. Izuku was like a porcelain sculpture, handcrafted by the heavens. Izuku's heart was made out of gold and he had the strength that could rival Gods and Goddesses. Katsuki looked at Izuku and drowned in hills of green. Izuku was the human embodiment of green: symbolic of life. His eyes, his hair, his everything.
Katsuki fell hard and Izuku had no clue. He watched Izuku tend to Eri with the maternal instincts he knew mimicked Inko. He knew deep down what Izuku was thinking the whole time. He knew what Izuku went through and how he dealt with losing people. Katsuki knew he had scared Izuku on numerous occasions when it came to “going away”.
Katsuki was about to step up and ruin the special moment, but Eri stopped him in his tracks. “Mister Deku… I don’t want you to go. You’re special.”
Izuku looked at Eri and his eyes widened. “Eri, I’m not going anywhere.”
“But you’re going to be a hero next year.”
“I am, but that doesn’t mean I’m leaving you,” reassured Izuku, giving her an earnest smile.
“You’re not?” sniffled Eri.
Izuku scooped her into a gentle embrace. “Nope. Never ever.”
Eri cried into Izuku’s shoulder, hugging him tightly. Izuku rubbed circles on her back as tears made their way down his cheeks. His smile cracked as he listened to the relieved cries of Eri. Izuku pulled back and tucked her fly-away hair behind her ear before wiping away her tears. “You won’t be going anywhere either. You’re just as special.”
Eri smiled, patting Izuku’s tears as well. “Never! I’d never leave!”
Izuku laughed, rising to his feet and extending a hand out to her. “Good, because who else would I have tea parties with?”
“Yeah, and you can’t leave because no one else can make me candy apples,” threatened Eri adorably, taking Izuku’s hand and jumping up.
Izuku patted her head, smiling fondly. “Speaking of food, it’s about time we get you some lunch. What are you hungry for today?”
Katsuki revealed himself to Izuku and Eri. Todoroki magically appeared beside Katsuki and waved at the two. “Hi.”
Izuku’s face lit up. “Kacchan! Shoto!”
Katsuki crossed his arms. “Hatsume needs your help when you get the chance. Also, I’m making us lunch today. You’ll burn down the kitchen.”
“I’m completely capable of cooking Kacchan,” sassed Izuku, raising a brow. Izuku had cooked before Katsuki on numerous occasions.
Shoto lowered his head in shame. “I can’t cook.”
Eri smiled up at Shoto. “Me neither! We are the same!”
Shoto perked up, nodding at the small child. “We are.”
Izuku was distracted by the two’s little scene and smirked. “Well, neither of you has to worry about that. It seems that Kacchan has you covered since he won’t let me cook.”
“Ha! Don’t try and do that guilt-tripping bullshit Izuku,” roared Katsuki, all bark no bite.
Izuku smiled, shrugging his shoulders. “Just saying the truth Kacchan. Let’s go then, me and Eri are hungry.”
As the four made their way into the main building, Katsuki wrapped an arm around Izuku’s shoulder and bit his chubby cheek. Izuku, used to the violent forms loving Katsuki showed, lightly bonked his head against Katsuki’s.
“Nothing makes it worth it if I can’t have you by my side,” murmured Katsuki into Izuku’s ear.
Izuku’s heart melted at Katsuki’s voice and his words of affirmation. Izuku leaned his head on Katsuki’s shoulder, using his free hand to wrap around his bicep. “You know I can’t live without you either,” whispered Izuku.
Izuku may be used to grief… but he will never be prepared when the time comes he loses the ones he holds the closest for good. But for now, Izuku has everything he could ever want. Eri, Shoto, and Katsuki had everything they could ever want. As cheesy as it sounded, it was because they had each other. They had love to keep the grief at bay or they made themselves believe so.
The End!
(also ignore the fact I referenced a scene from the kid's show Bluey in the episode “Camping” 😭 and ignore the fact that I thought about making a fan fiction because of it 💔 it was emotional okay?)

Recently, I've started writing a MHA (a few years after the final battle) AU, Based on a girl studying abroad (from America) with her other 4 friends, at UA. And I've been struggling with the outfit ideas for their hero costumes, not exactly the best when it comes to ideas, so I used Gacha Life 2 to get ideas for the future drawings! Here are the characters I have so far, the 5 girls and 3 of the UA students. :)
Information Key:
LN - Legal Name | Q - Quirk | HN - Hero Name
LN; Alia Allium Spade-Q; Fierce Wings-HN; Humming
(^My main OC, also portrayed by a few of my online accounts)
LN; Renity Spiritual Spiral-Q; Kitsune, AKA Trickster Fox-HN; Tranquility
LN; Meraki Vivid Dale-Q; Archer-HN; LongShot
LN; Rylee Hope Storm-Q; Elemental-HN; Hurricane
Edit: LN; Rory Rile Vine-Q; Seamstress-HN; Evergrove
I've started on the drawings for the main 4, here's the information and pictures... P.S. this (the drafts) is all being drawn on Roblox
The other characters, the not so important I guess you could say. (Side) Will be put into progress after I finish up the secondary drawing to Hurricane (Rylee) and both drawings of Tranquility (Renity) :)
Edit: a huge change has been made to the story due to IRL drama, Rory and Renity have been switched out, Evergrove (Rory) is now a Foreign Exchange student alongside Humming, Hurricane and Longshot instead of Tranquil.
Tranquil has now been changed to be a villain part of the UOC (Union of Convict) and left from America to Japan to get revenge on her former friends. (This obviously, has put her family in a LARGE amount of debt and flagged her parents on her whereabouts... Meaning said parents contacted Meraki's family, leading to the on edge eerie feeling from the friend group.)
A while ago, I posted my headcanons, and this person drew Model Todo and Kats, I love them and their work deserves love
@hawkssecretlovechild posted a list of headcanons including both kacchan and todoroki being models and okay well i know model!kacchan is popular but i got possessed by the idea so anyway here’s part one of a series of kacchan todoroki and Uraraka (bc i love her) modelling deku’s “be a hero” collection (in collaboration with a charity he set up to support social care/reform & encourage everyone to be heroes to the people around them)
pulled out my alcohol markers for this one and promptly discovered i have very limited colours so his hair is TOTALLY the wrong colour 👍 also the little plastic sheet i had underneath to stop bleed through (which i only remembered after starting so was probably a waste of time anyway) had some green pen on it from a previous drawing,, and the green managed to transfer from the sheet underneath and up onto his skin?? I think cos i used the colourless blender so much to adjust the skin tone. But yep no we’re going with it. Pls also ignore the bandages i inked them wrong so the wrapping doesn’t make sense shhhh
I might also do digital versions of these but i enjoyed using the markers too so. And honestly u can see me learning even just in this piece which is wild.
I haven’t decided who I’ll do next but it will probably be kacchan again cos he’s my fav. But i have solo shots for todoroki & Uraraka planned and a group one and a backstage one and a bkdk one and maybe one of deku like 🧍♂️ cos u know that boy hates the camera
todoroki
i’m imagining shoto todoroki and a very oblivious parter and it’s making me giggle.
Since both Shoto and the reader are unable to take a hint, both of them spent months as friends trying to ask each other out.
“I really like you.” you said one night as they walked home from training together holding hands.
“I like you too y/n. It’s nice to be able to train alongside a strong and capable friend like you. You’ll make a great pro.” He said. The compliment was nice, but you got a bit hung up on the word ‘friend’.
a couple weeks later Shoto approached you after class.
“Hi y/n. If you’re not busy friday night, would you like to go get dinner with me?”
“yeah sure! Oh wait can we go to that new ramen place, Jiro’s been dying to go. Oh, and Uraraka should come too because she doesn’t get to eat at restaurants very often and-“
“I kind of intended for this to be just the two of us.” Shoto said, cutting you off.
“Oh, uh okay.” you replied, finding it odd that he didn’t want to bring the others. Was he having drama with the rest of the friend group but you were left in the dark?
Nonetheless, you went to dinner with shoto, and chatted and joked, and it didn’t hit you until you were walking back to the dorms.
“Y/n.” Shoto spoke, causing you to slow down your pace.
“mhm?” you replied, giving him a small smile.
“May I kiss you?” he asked, taking a step closer to you.
“Wait, why would you want to do that?” You asked. You were definitely excited by the idea of kissing shoto, but confused as to why. Shoto only saw you as a friend.
“Because I just took you on a date and I like you.” Shoto stated simply. Then it clicked in your mind.
you leaned in to kiss him and it was short but sweet before Shoto broke the kiss to talk again.
“Would you like to be my girlfriend, y/n?” he asked, looking into your eyes, his expression so sincere.
“yes.” you tried to hide your excitement until you finally walked back to your dorm and facetimed all the girls to update them.
might make this a series if people like it

Charters are a little OOC but hey, it’s my version sooo yeah! Hope you enjoy!!!
"it means... we have some time.." She mutters, glancing back to the TV before continuing... "He doesn't want to frame his boy as a criminal... specifically his perfect creation," gesturing to the duel-haired boy... "And none of us are particularly sneaky... we need... someone skilled at this," She muttered, Knowing full well that at most they had 7 days... but realistically only about 2 days until the media and the school started looking into the sudden disappearance of the Todoroki boy... not to mention the USJ preparations where still necessary... and getting Izuku his quirk... 'so much... this had to go perfectly' she was planning... but she knew nobody in this room was far skilled enough to pull this off. "If we wanna pull this off without triggering the media... then we need a pro," Fazed into the background... the news reports of a mysterious killer, rumored to have burned over 100 people in a week, with video of a mysterious man walking into blue flames... unknown, unseen... a complete mystery... Looking at the TV... she smiled... 'perfect' as the blue flames illuminated the room, it gave her this sick and twisted aura.... turning to the others, the color perfectly reflecting off her form... she smirked... "And I think I know just.. the Guy,"
(Alright, trying to keep it going!! LETS CONTIUNE.)
"No... You don't mean..."
"Yep! The mysterious blue fire villain!" She smirked at them, "Who's better than someone the media can't even get a look at?!" She nodded as if agreeing with herself,
"Dabi..." Everyone let out a soft huh as Izuku spoke up, "his name is Touya…. Or Dabi now.” He muttered softly, “He's unstable, but he’s wanting revenge on Endeavor," hand on his chin, weighing the risks.
"babe? how do you..." She was so confused, where did he pull this information out?
"medical records show that the Todoroki family had an eldest son... he was reported dead but no body was found, or even remains" He stood, flipping through a notebook, titled 'Threats' "And based on his past history of attacks, everyone has either been an Endeavor side kick or the property belonged to the pro,"
“When did he steal medical records??” Shigiraki whispered to Y/n, who could only shrug, also unaware of her boyfriend's intel. Both waiting for him to continue…
"Touya..." Shoto muttered, staring at the flames on the screen, eyes reflecting the deep color, like an ocean on land. "I... yes... I remember him," Y/n frowned, watching as his face dropped ever so slightly, eyes brimming with tears at the realization of what his brother had become. "A murder..." but… he was still a little relieved he was alive.
"He... He can be quite useful to us, his skill, quirk, and goals align with ours decently close," Izuku was hesitant to continue, fearful of potentially triggering Shoto. "But... if we need someone with that caliber of skill... it has to be him,"
Shoto only nodded, "I agree, if that's what we need... then we have to find him," he muttered, looking between Y/n and Izuku. “Plus... it'll be nice to rejoin with my big bro... I hope." There was an autoable gulp that followed the statement. Shoto was heavily aware of the effect his birth had on his older brother.
"Okay, YES! I love the ideas, guys," Shigirakis's voice was overly enthusiastic. "HOW THE HELL DO WE FIND HIM!? " he screamed, dramatically throwing his arms in the air, enhancing his statement. Feeling like he was the only one with an ounce of comen sense at that moment.
"Chill the fuck out!" Y/n huffed, hands on her hips while she thought... 'Can't leave our lair unattended...' She huffed, 'And Shoto has to stay hidden...' Now pacing around the room, she was glancing from one person to another, the plan calculating while she did so, each piece finding its position. "Okay, here's the plan," Clapping her hands as everything fell into place, "Shigiraki, you will stay here with Shoto and protect our home, just in case the heroes suddenly get smart," She watched as Shoto nodded in agreement and Shigi only shrugged in response. "Good enough, then I and Izuku will go Dabi hunting, with the help of Kurogiris portals of course,"
"Alright!"
"Good Enough,"
"Consider it Done Y/n,"
"We have to ensure we're cautious, we can start with the least populated areas and move inward towards the city as night falls," Izuku spoke, a completely different notebook in hand, this one having a sketch of the city already drawn. "I... drew this... a while ago... just in case something happened to you," He muttered, looking up at Y/n's confused face as to why the hell he already had a map drawn.
"God, you're so smart... it's literally unfair," Huffing she gently took his face into her hands, squeezing his cheeks causing his lips to pucker. She stared into his green eyes for a moment, just admiring the beautiful color... Knowing full well that she was interrupting such an important point of planning but…' God... this boy' Gently moving to kiss his lips, she giggled when his notebook fell to the floor, plummeting and making a clattering sound, which was soon followed by his pen. His hands frozen at his sides…
"T-Thanks Love," His face was flushed as she pulled away, his eyes following her, "But... we're a team, r-remember? We have our strengths and weaknesses... it just happens that you're both of mine," He was love-struck indeed, anyone knew how to bring out the best in him... and the worst, and the ticket stood right there with her beautiful y/s/t. He practically had hearts floating around his head, simply admiring her... 'Lovesick'
(Mini Time skip)
“Okay, you two please be careful, I’d hate to… lose a loved one,” Kurogiri, sighed, opening up to a dark and dingy alley. Still unsure if he was truly using the terminology properly. He watched as Y/n took the lead, using her magic to light the alley.
"Damn... It's dark even in the day," She muttered, reaching for Izuku's hand as he soon followed through the portal. With a quick and subtle goodbye, Kurogiri left, waiting for them nearby.
"Okay... Let's hope we actually find him... or we're fucked," As quietly as they could... they took slow and cautious steps into the alley, unsure of any potential hidden dangers.
"DABI?" The abandoned building echoed with the silence of their footsteps... going room to room, each darker and duster than the one before. They continued searching, calling periodically after getting more comfortable with their surroundings. Each call was only responded to with the soft, repetitive drip of a leaky water pipe or the creak of an old wood plank.
"I don't think he's here," Y/n groaned softly, pulling her head back out of the room she was just in. Izuku who was just down the hall nodded in agreement, before realizing she couldn't see him.
"Yeah, looks like this place was a bust," He huffed in disappointment, linking hands with her once again before calling Kurogiri.
(mini skip)
Time and time went by, and they had moved to 5 different locations, each more recent to a crime he had committed. Izuku was so methodical with his research... He was almost certain that he'd be able to track him... but currently... nothing.
"This... is the last place I have a record of him being at," Izuku whimpered, his notebook being crumbled in his hand from his harsh grip. "Damn it... I was so certain..."
"Hey! babe, it's fine... the media doesn't even know his name! so we're already better," She could see the frustration growing in his mind... “PLUS! They have no idea he’s a Todoroki! so maybe Shoto would be fine if we can't get to Endeavor!” …but he had one track….the need to be helpful...
How long was he going to be a quickless boy? How long was he gonna be worthless? How long till this found family got tired of him... realized he wasn't useful... realized he was better off in the grave, *SLAP* "I-I"
"I'M SORRY! But... you were thinking bad about..." He had a sizable handprint on his cheek, his freckles red and small tears titering on the need to fall... it stung... but man did it help... he was shocked, she had never…. done that, "You were thinking bad about my boyfriend... and I can't allow that," She huffed, staring at his surprised face... and red cheek... "Izuku, I swear to god if you fall down that damn rabbit hole again," He watched as her fist clenched tightly at her sides, her hair floating with the soft waves of magic she released...She had thought they were passed this… that he could live with only being needed for his existence… nothing else… “I'll drag you out by the tip of your dick!" He wanted to laugh... but she wasn't joking... not one bit... she was dead serious... and that made him straighten up the slightest bit.
“I’m… sorry, I just want to be,”
“SHUT IT! You are helpful! You are needed! Where do these thoughts keep coming from love?” She gently cupped his face, using her magic to soothe the burn of her earlier slap. “We need you… And even if the others didn’t…. I need you,” She watched as his eyes teared again, the look of realization washing over him. It’s the same look his mother had when she got the news of his dad’s death… it was the same look he imagined when he saw her again as he fell to his death… It was the look of want, need, helpless…
“Y-Y/N, I’m sorry… I won’t leave you, I’ll stop with the useless talk,” He was so stupid… so many years together… and he’s just now promising this to her. “I promise,” He muttered, holding her hand softly and simply staring into her eyes. “I happy being alive,”
“How… Romantic,”
“DABI!” Both jumped at the sudden voice, interrupting their soft moment.
“Oh no, don’t stop on my account…. I was just waiting for the show to start,” He chuckled, his hands resting on his thighs as he leaned against the ruble. They watched as his turquoise eyes narrowed the slightest bit, trying to gauge why exactly they were there. He looked unkempt and tired… the true look of a man on the run.
“Look, we need to talk!” Y/N released Izukus's face and moved so she was facing the scared man straight on, her tone soft and enduring.
“Talk?” He lit his hand up in the signature blue flame…. “Who the hell are you?” His voice was raspy and dangerous… telling the two that he was in no mood to play…
“L-Look! I’m Izuku Midoriya and this is,”
“My name is Grace, now cool the fire because we have a proposition for you,” Her friendly tone was gone, matching Dabi’s hostile vibe. She watched as his eyebrow arched in question.
“Yeah? And what might that be sweet cheeks?” Oh, she wanted to choke him… but she needed him alive…
“Watch the nicknames… but, We know you have a thing for Endeavor…” She giggled at her own word phrasing.
“If by thing, you mean death sentence then sure,” He huffed, not playing into her rage bait…. “What do you want with Endeavor?”
“See, we have a family forming, and… he knows a little too much about one of our members for comfort,” She hummed, watching as his fire gently moved in the breeze… deciding it was too little light, “Here,” She huffed, snapping her fingers and engulfing the area in a soft blue light. “Better?” He was now completely visible… Izuku almost giggled at the soft squint of Dabi’s eyes from the sudden light change.
“How the Fuck?” He flinched at the sudden brightness, having been sat in the dark for so long. The sudden power display did not go unnoticed by him… He recognized her strength. “Okay… You have my attention,” He hummed, adjusting his position to a more relaxed seat.
“Great! We need to get close to number 2… and we think you’d be able to help,” Y/N hummed, moving closer to the villain… Dabi studied them for a moment longer, weighing his chances of beating the both of them in a fight. He knew she was strong, and the knowledge of the boy's quirk left him hesitant.
“What do you have to offer?” He questioned, making a move to stand so he was at no more of a disadvantage…. They knew too much about him to be simply nobody… not even the media knew his name, but they came in calling it.
“Another, better, loyal family,” Y/N smirked as his eyes widened slightly, happy he was smart enough to get what she was hinting at. “so, what do you say? Two Todorokis could be useful,”
“Two? Who else?” He was now down to her level, standing a looking down at her, “Who the fuck else did that old man drive mad?”
“Hehe, the perfect creation,” Izuku chuckled nervously, knowing Dabi would know exactly who he was referring to.
“HAHA NO?!” Dabi cackled, “That bitch ass drove his perfect creation to villainy….” Oh the irony he saw in it, to think that the very thing that drove himself away, ran away itself.
“Yes, Shoto has joined us,” Y/N sighed, “your old man’s a real dick,” Dabi was surprised at the casual way she spoke his name. Shoto, his brother who he assumed was very sheltered, could actually get a girlfriend or get his dick wet.
“Oh, a first named base? What a girlfriend? Or sneaky link?” Izuku couldn’t help the narrowing of his eyes, he had been slightly jealous of Shoto from back at U.A.… hearing someone say such a thing didn’t exactly sit right with him.
“Watch it! She’s mine. Not his,” Dabi was slightly taken aback by the greenets sudden possessiveness,
“Oh, tough guy,” Dabi chuckled, having just wanted to mess with the man. “that makes sense, especially after that little display earlier,”
“CAN WE FOCUS?” Y/N was getting more and more impatient, “We need your help and you’ll eventually need ours,” She held out her hand for a shake, “So what do you say?” She watched as he glanced down at her hand, then at Izuku, then back to Y/N. “Dabi, please… let’s help each other,” Dabi didn’t know… was it okay to agree? Was he ready to trust again? How serious was this girl about being a family? “Look, we are here to make our voices heard!” She was done waiting for him, she snatched his hand in hers. Holding it close to her chest, “Join us! Together, we can be unstoppable!”
He was so confused… how was this girl so daring? Who the hell was she to touch him like this?… but yet, her hands are so soft… warm… “I can feel?” He didn’t mean to question that out loud, but this was the first time in years his fingertips had ever felt something. He didn't know what to do, what to think… he was revenge-driven, why and how are there two villains requesting him to join a family?
“Dabi, look…” Izuku stepped forward now, lumming over Y/N’s shoulder and looking down at Dabi. “You lost everything… we are offering you something…” Izuku gently set his hands on Y/Ns shoulders… looking down at the two connected hands, “It’s not very villainous, we are aware but…”
“Fine… You’ve convinced me,” He gently pulled his hands away from her, putting them in his coat pockets…to avoid further touching. “I’ll join you… Okay?” He sighed looking at her wide smile and Izukus soft one… ‘No way these two are villains’ He groaned already knowing he would regret this later. “If I’m betrayed I’ll murder everyone apart of this so-called family,”
Y/N giggled happily, moving to hug Dabi. Catching the man by surprise, he gasped at her touch. Her grip was tight, keeping his arm stuck in his pockets, he struggled for her to release him. Heating his body to try and scorch her off, but she refused to move. “I knew a guy whose quirk was explosion… burns don't hurt me,”
“Of course…”
“just accept it, you’ll learn to love it,” Izuku had a sweat drop as he watched the scarred man give in to her.
“I…” He only sighed, knowing full well he was right.
(mini time skip!)
Y/N was yapping the whole time walking out of the building, holding Izuku's hand while dragging Dabi by his sleeve. “And I make homemade pancakes! And,”
“Does she ever stop?” He whispered to Izuku, who only chuckled softly and shook his head.
“Nope, and that's the best part,”
“ah! Finally the exit!” Y/N let go of Dabis's sleeve, reaching into her pocket to snag her phone and call Kurogiri.
“Grace? Good news I’m hopping?”
“We got him! And he’s docile!” She giggled, gently swinging her and Izuku's hands.
“ready for me to come get you?” Kurogiri was already preparing,
“Yes Please!”
“Okay, I’ll be there in a second,” He wasn’t lying within seconds of hanging up the Purple mist was already swirling in front of the three. Walking through, proper as ever. “Ah Grace, Midoryia… and Dabi,” He sighed, slightly adjusting his tie. “let’s get going, the others are eager to hear the results of your search,” With a small head tilt, he made his way back through the portal, expecting the others to follow suit.
“Dabi, after you!” Y/N waved her hand, gesturing for him to walk through.
“This isn’t a trap or?”
“JUST GO!”
“All alright, alright,”. He raised his hands in defeat before cautiously walking through the unknown passage.
“Quick Kiss for a successful mission?” Izuku offered puppy dog eyes, refusing to let her go just yet, “Please?”
“You don’t have to ask,” She huffed, standing on her toes to gently kiss his lips, giggling at the way he still turned red. “How is it that after all this time, I still make you nervous?”
“I-I’m just that in love with you… Sorry,” He avoided her eyes, cheeks now more resembling strawberries…
“hm, well I’m glad to know the feeling is mutual,” She hummed, squeezing his hand twice before pulling him through the portal. “Come on love, let’s go,”
“R-right!”
Dabi stood still, taking in every aspect of the unfamiliar surroundings. From the bar and its multiple chairs… to the TV that had multiple controllers lying around… even to the kitchen table that had mismatched chairs, obviously added so everyone could fit. ‘It’s so… cozy’ He subconsciously winced at that… “so homey,” His tone held the slightest tone of disgust…
“Indeed, never believed in the women touch theory till recently myself,” An unfamiliar spoke from the hallway, it was scratchy and pitch… “She got you too huh?”
Dabi looked confused at the sudden appearance of the Ash-blue-haired man, his guard going up to 100% at the unknown being… “Who the hell!?”
“Shigi! It’s not nice to scare the guest!” Dabi never thought he’d be happy to hear her voice… but the somewhat familiar thing in the unknown home… eased him the slightest bit. “and get Shoto! Our newest member has arrived!” She giggled, gently patting Dabi’s back while she walked to the couch, Izuku did the same but instead separated to head to the bar.
Dabi stood still, watching as each member fell into place… Shigiraki took a seat on the recliner chair, Kurogir remained at the bar but was still engaging with the others… Izuku had returned with a glass of water and took his seat next to Y/N… giggling at his words and Shigirakis complained about how long they took. So lost in watching… trying to figure out what the hell he was looking at. Who were these people? Were they simply going to accept him? Was this… worth protecting?
“Touya…” His voice was so hesitant, so quiet that Dabi’s burned ears barely picked it up…
“Shoto?” Dabi turned, watching as the dueled-haired man took a single step, halting when Dabi’s shoulders were facing him… hesitant on whether or not he had the strength to continue towards his older brother. He took another step… and Suddenly Dabi was 8 watching Shoto take his first steps again. His mind flashed back and forth… each step getting stronger… more confident…
“Touya!” Forget the past, forget the pain, in this moment… it was pure siblings….Dabi had hatted him… all his life but seeing him there, no hatred, no rage behind his eyes… just relief to see his older brother alive. Dabi hated himself at that moment.. he blamed him for so many years… when Shoto was tortured just as much if not more… To see his face, another victim of his father's plan… no longer two sides of the same coin, one head and one tail. No winner or loser. No, both now had the same goal, the same drive… the same scars.
“Shoto,” He wasn’t expecting this, not the tight hold of his arms, not the instinct to protect, care… He was a villain, killed dozens… left his feelings in the past… anything other than rage was forgotten… but these stupid people… this stupid family raising new feelings… or rather… old ones reappearing. He watched as tears fell from Shoto cheeks… “Damn Crybaby…”
“Dabi,” Her voice was soft and cautious, ensuring to maintain the soft environment that had been created. She watched as his teal eyes met her, before glancing around the room, seeing everyone looking at him. Some with smiles, smirks, and girns….
He could feel it… and understood Shigirakis's words from early… ‘She got you two’ the words echoed for a moment… ‘She sure damn did’
“Welcome Home!” She smiled brightly, and at that moment… he realized he just met the most dangerous woman in the world… “so happy to have ya!”

"Y/L/N…. M-Midoriya" He panted softly, hand pressing against what looked like a barn mark. He heaved, before falling to his knees, leaning his body against the door, just staring at Y/n…"I… I found you…" He smiled… his face contracting into pain pain-stricken smile… "Finally!"
Continue:
Y/n quickly used her magic to ensure no one was following him. "He's alone" She spoke, reassuring the others "… Come on Shoto…" She gently took his arm and dragged him to his feet, being cautious of his cradled arm. "come sit on the couch," She ushered him quickly, nodding to the others as she passed them. Once he was sat, wincing from the pain but leaning against the couch with a soft smile. He just stared at her… her hair, her face, her eyes… He had never felt so safe with someone before… so cared for… even when he showed up at her door unannounced, interrupting whatever life she had going on… just to tent to him. They had been gone… just vanished yesterday… And the way Bakugo screamed about a traitor… magic and portal… He knew he had to come hunting for her… them.
"Thank you" He huffed, taking a moment to take in his surroundings, making note of the two new faces and how the one in blue had his arm slung around Izukus's shoulder. A scary but confused expression on his face, relaying his unspoken threats to this unknown man. While Y/n watched his eyes wander, she took the opportunity to truly take in his disheveled appearance. He had blood smeared on his clothing and the burn looked fresh… really fresh… It was shaped like a hand… and a large one at that.
'I'll kill him' Izuku's eyes also zeroed in on the burn mark… knowing a little of Shotos passed… he could guess where it came from.
"A friend of yours?" Shigaraki asked, still hanging off Izuku, being cautious of his fingers. He glanced at the greenet, slightly taken aback by the murder glare he was sending the man being coddled by Y/n… 'oh, jealous?' he silently questioned, before glancing at the new fella… 'No… he glaring at something…' scanning the man, his own eyes widened slightly when he saw the cooked skin on the boy's arm… it was blistering and oozing blood.
"Yes… a good friend of ours…" Izuku muttered, before tapping Shigaraki's arm softly for him to move it. With a soft nod of thanks, he moved towards the couch, where Kurogiri was now standing with a pan of water and a washcloth. "Shoto… what?" Izuku was baffled… how, who, why? Y/n was making quick work… softly healing his other small wounds, but the burn would take the most time… and the pain wouldn't stop.
"Shoto shirt off now," She instructed, getting up to move to the kitchen, the boys were confused by her command. "NOW!" She called the sound of her rummaging through the fridge, soft curses leaving her lips as she struggled to find what she was looking for.
"Alright… uh. Shigarkai! Can you disintegrate it?" Izuku was trying to find the best source of action to avoid hurting Shoto further.
"I… yeah, easy," Moving forward, he knelt next to the man. "Uh… Names Shigaraki… Imma get rid of your shirt now," He muttered the last part, not wanting the duel-colored man to be confused… or just have some random stranger undressing him. As the shirt slowly disintegrated… the entirety of the burn was revealed… "holy fuck!" It was gruesome… not just the hand-printed burn… but it looked as if an iron had been ran across the upper part of his arm… the skin was a cherry red and steam could still be seen… or maybe it was his ice attempting to soothe the burn.
"Bad… a very bad one," Y/n muttered, finally returning from her hunt in the kitchen… it was far worse than anything she's healed before… yes burns on Izuku from Bakugo… but those were smaller and less severe due to heat expanding due to do the explosion… but this… this looked as if Shoto himself was set on a grill to cook. "Drink… It's Kava tea… will make you sluggish but will help numb the pain," Handing him a hot cup, steam radiating out the top. "It's gross but it's a natural depressant… and I'm not qualified to give you real shit… nor do we have any,"
"Thank you… Y/L/N" With gentle hands he took the cup, using his good hand he took a cautious sip of it… griminess at the flavor… before going in for another.
"Just Y/n… we're friends Shoto… no need for formality," She had this sad… almost pitiful look on her face. Standing there… staring at a friend who had somehow managed to find them… was severely burned… in the core of a villain institution…. and yet… he looked so relaxed. "Shoto… while the tea kicks in… what happened? Who did this? and Why?"
"My Father," He gritted out, the pain very forward in his voice. "I… wanted to come looking for you… he disagreed," He muttered, simply staring down at the now-empty cup of tea… "It… got out of hand," His eyes wandered to those around him, Y/n who was now kneeling in front of him, Izuku who was standing next to her… Shigarkai was in the chair adjacent to the couch… and Kurogiri was behind him… all eyes were on him. Unknown and dangerous ones… but he's never felt more safe than right there. "I… didn't know where else to go… I tracked you down… a-and," Y/n smirked as his face seemed to become more lazed… his arm softly falling to his side on the couch, only wincing softly at it…
"it's kicking in… good… and your adrenaline is wearing off," She muttered, standing and glancing at Izuku, silently asking for his assistance. "Here Sho… let us lay you down so you're comfortable," Moving to grasp his good hand, she helped him lay down on the base of the couch, Izuku pulled over a table so his arm could hand off but still rest conformably… "Shhh Sho… Rest now yeah? I'll have yeah fixed by morning," reaching down, still her hand held tightly in his, her free one moving to gently stroke his hair.
"I-I won't turn you in…" He muttered, his hooded eyes moving to find her and Izuku… "I promise… I just.." fighting against the tea and his own exhaustion… "I can't go back… what the heroes are doing… isn't right," Shoto chuckled softly at his own words… "You and I both know that first hand," He spoke motioning to him and Izuku. "I just want to feel safe for once… just for once…" Y/n could only watch as sleep consumed the boy…. his eyes falling shut and his breathing evening out.
"Don't worry Sho… I got you," She muttered, kissing his hand before removing her own… Turning to go find a chair, but of course, her lovely boyfriend was already ready. A comfy chair, a snack, and a drink… waiting for the long night he knew was ahead… "Why are you so perfect?" She chuckled, kissing Izukus's lips softly before taking her seat. "You wanted new members… well now you got one…"
(mini time skip)
The night was long and exhausting… she was struggling to get rid of the burn completely… as if it was emotional and not physical any longer. "Babe… you okay?" Izuku asked, yawning softly before setting down another cup of water for her.
"I'm okay… it's just… It won't go away…" She muttered… holding Shotos arm delicately… "It's healed.. shouldn't hurt anymore… but the scar won't shrink…" Huffing, she tried again, allowing the magic to engulf his arm. Typically, she could make it so only a small remembrance was left… but this scar was taking up the entirety of where the wound was. "I… I don't…GAH!" tears fell in frustration… a quiet sob leaving her lips… she was mad… Mad at Endeavor, Mad at Herself for being unable to save another loved one… "I'M SUPPOSED TO BE GOOD AT THIS!" her voice was broken… desperate for a solution that was hidden from her.
"Relax, Relax… love… It's okay," He gently lifted her from her seat, cradling her in his arms. Quickly moving to replace her in the seat, setting her gently on his lap. "You are good at this love…" gently caressing her hair, "this is just… something you've never done…"
"B-but… UGH!"
"Shh Shh… you're just tired love…" laying gentle kisses on her hairline he tried to calm her, "You have done amazing… His wound is healed… sure it's a scar… it's still there but he not hurting anymore," With gentle hands, he used one to rub up and down his back, soothing her tense form… "He's here… He's safe… and he knows that," Izuku whispered, softly glancing at Shoto's sleeping form he sighed, "We'll make him pay… Right?…. Y/n?" He felt her breath even out on his neck… as her soft snores followed… He only softly smiled at her, knowing she must be exhausted. She had been up since Shoto walked through the door, while the other, although refusing to leave the room. Took naps or just fell asleep right there. "Huff… it's…" He groaned, reaching for his phone, unable to extend his arm enough… fearful of waking his girl on his lap, knowing if he did, she'd be back to work.
"4:00 am," A deep and proper voice softly spoke… followed by the sound of glass being set down. "You two are truly remarkable… You have a pro hero son laying… peacefully on our couch… two villains, one still awake… and the other," He glanced down at Shigaraki who was snoring on the recliner… "the other… who refused to leave… for god knows why… and then there's you two," Kurogiri chuckled softly… "I had brought her a snack… but seems she's getting the rest she deserves…" Moving slowly towards Y/n's sleeping figure in Izuku's arms… "It's reassuring to know such a power… uh Witch… yes, a powerful witch is on our side," He sighed… smiling at the two… seeing the exhaustion behind Izuku's eyes… "Rest… You need to… I'll take care of breakfast in the morning…" With a soft and uncharacteristic hand, he gently rubbed Izukus's head, as if he was a father praising his son.
"Thank you…" Izuku spoke softly, a yawn following shortly after. As he began to slowly nod off, he smiled before the subcommittee to the sandman. "Night.. Kurogiri,"
"Good Night… Midoriya,"
(Time Skip)
The next afternoon, when Y/n finally woke up… there was a much… loser air? In an odd way. Shigaraki was still on the recliner, now scrolling through the channels on the T.V. "Hm? Bout damn time you woke up," He watched a Y/n slowly sat up. Her hair was wild and her eyes held crust on them. She groaned, running a hand through her hair, before huffing and moving to take out the hair clip she had fallen asleep with. However, when she went searching for it, she found it was gone. Glancing around, from the floor, to the side table, finally finding it safely on the coffee table, letting out the softest sigh, she reached for it. "Lover boy took it out for ya last night… didn't want ya to be uncomfortable,"
"Where's… Where's Shoto?"
"Ah, you mean candy cane?" He couldn't help but chuckle to himself, thinking the name was very clever but the unamused face Y/n offered him had him clearing his throat. "heme sorry, he's in the kitchen, Kurogiri made breakfast.." He nodded towards the kitchen, "He feels no pain… good job nurse," He smiled at her, not an annoying or teasing one but one that showed true sincerity.
"Thank you… I'm gonna go get some food," As if on cue her stomach growled, making both chuckle. "Right…" Y/n shook her head before moving to stand completely. A satisfying ring of pops from her back caused her to sigh, stretching up towards the sky. She held that position for a few moments before dropping down into a squat, her knees cracking at the motion.
"Sound like a damn old woman"
"Feel like one," Now at a full stand, she slowly made her way to the Kitchen, where she could hear soft conversation. Smiling at the sight of Izuku with a spoon sticking out his mouth mid-bite, Shoto taking a drink of the milk that was chilled with ice, and Kurogiri standing there… in her baby teal apron and a spatula in hand. 'So this is family… been a while since I've had this' She smiled softly to herself, the memories of her own family and Inko running through her mind. 'This is nice… Yeah, this is nice… "Morning guys," She muttered making her presence known to the trio.
"Y/n!" Shoto quickly stood, moving to hug her… "Thank you…" He muttered holding her closely, his face tucked into her shoulder. "I… was so worried when you two had disappeared… and" Pulling away, he looked glancing up at the two, looking from Y/n to Izuku… "And… listening to how quickly… they gave up searching," Shoto gritted his teeth, anger evident on his face… "Called heroes… but.. they never came to save you guys!"
"It's okay… It's okay!" She muttered, gently petting his hair, "We are happy here! right?!" She moved him to face Izuku and Kurogiri. Izuku smiled brightly, while Kurogiri simply nodded. Their look of joy… not forced, not fake, just… happy. He felt relief like a small weight was lifted off his chest… Knowing that they've been okay… not scared, not hurt, not dead… in a short amount of time, they created a whole new life… one that brought a true smile to their face… one that he wanted to be a part of.
"Very…" Izuku sighed… taking a deep breath… "yeah, very in a strange way," Now moving to stand as well, walking towards Shoto and Y/n. "In a strange way… We… I feel safer here with near complete strangers… than I ever did with those kids," He muttered the last bit, "That we called classmates,"
"That's all I needed to hear," Shoto smiled, nodding at the two. "I wish to have that too… so I'm excited to join you… no matter what," He reached his arm out, clasping hands with Izuku…An audible smack rang through the lair, "I'm here for you… all of you," He nodded towards Kurogiri and the newly appeared Shigaraki who was stuffing his face with a cheese stick.
"YEAHH!" Y/n giggled and cheered, bouncing around, moving from Izuku and Shoto to Shigaraki, "HEAR THAT!! WE'RE GROWING OUR FAMILYY!" She jumped on him, hugging him tightly…Just breathing… basking in the excitement of it all..but she couldn't help the sudden rush of calmness that flooded her body. "We're gonna be okay," Her mood shifted quickly. A somber look on her face, no one quite knew why, not even herself… but they all just smiled at her.
"Well, with our new member… we gotta get his shit," Shigaraki huffed, gently patting Y/n's back, cautions of his fingers.
"Oh yeah! we can get it easy, with Kurogiris portals and my magic, be done in a jiffy!" She giggled, pulling away from Shigaraki, "Let's go now! Right? It's mid-day?" She asked, looking to Kurogiri for a response, "So Endeavor should be out working!?"
"Yeah, now would be a good time…" Shoto agreed.
Kurogiri nodded, "Indeed, he should be away," Moving away from the kitchen into the living room. The others followed close behind him, ready to make quick work of this move. Shoto gasped softly, watching as the misty vortex began to swirl in the center of the room.
"Okay Y/n," He spoke her name, still getting used to the informal speech. "You're good to go," nodding towards the portal. Y/n softly thanked the man before poking her head through the mist.
"Okay! We're clear, let's get this shit moving!" She stepped back through, waving her hand for them to follow. "Shoto… a lot of your stuff is gonna be… uh sprayed around the living room," She muttered, glancing around the room, engaging what needed to be moved by her and what could be taken by the boys. "Cause we gotta move fast… Really fast," With the two close behind her, they nodded before quickly moving to grab the most basic essentials, Izuku quickly grabbed an arm full of his clothes, while Shoto quickly ran to the family safe. "Sho!?" Y/n watched as he ran quickly out into the main lobby of the home.
"Leave him, let's get the rest!" Izuku insisted, already on another run of clothes.
"Right!" Using her magic, Y/n quickly picked up his bookshelf, being cautious to not spill any of its contents. Chuckling softly she offered a warning before moving through the portal. "… Imma takes everything… fuck Endeavor…" She growled… scrapping the idea of only essential items… "I'll leave him with nothing to mourn over," Now focused on picking up his entire bed.
(on the lair side)
"GOD DAMN IT Y/N CAREFUL!" Quickly moving to avoid being crushed by the bed that had just sailed through the portal Shigaraki called. "I THOUGHT YOU WERE ONLY GRABBING ESSENTIALS!"
(back in Shotos room)
"Okay… Y/n, it's bare," Izuku muttered wiping his sweat with the back of his hand, slightly out of breath from the constant running back and forth, Y/n also took a deep breath, happy that they could leave.
"Okay… now where's Shoto?"
"GO BACK THROUGH!" The sound of glass shattering and a door slamming was heard, before two sets of footsteps where heads sprinting down the hall… TWO!!?
"SHOTO?" Y/n called, running to his bedroom door, leaning out to see… Shoto… arms full of a duffel bag… and an angry Endeavor… "FUCK!! IZUKU GO THROUGH THE PORTAL!!" She screamed, waving a violent hand to get the greenet moving "NOW!!" She screamed, before moving back into the room completely.
"Why?"
"JUST GO!" Without questioning her again, he was back through the portal. "SHOTO FASTER!!" She screamed, standing on the cusp of the portal, refusing to leave without him. With panted breath, Shoto skidded into the room, not stopping his strides until he was diving through the portal, not even looking back.
"CLOSE IT!" He screamed, still petrified from just having to outrun his father.
"WHERE IS Y/N!??" Shigaraki had no idea what was going on.. but he knew he didn't see Y/n and that was concerning enough. "CLOSE IT!" Y/n screeched, diving into the portal, a smile painted on her face and a wild look in her eyes.
"Consider it done," As a blast of fire was sent through the portal, Kurogiri quickly closed it, cutting off the danger. As the room fell into an eerily silent state, only the pants of Shoto and Y/n heard…
"Holy Shit…" She mumbled, glancing at those around her, her smile never faltering.
"That was… too close," Shoto was pale, his expression was one of fear and relief. His voice was hoarse and broken.
"But… we got all the shit!" Y/n cackled, looking behind at the array of items that were once in Shoto's bedroom now in the living room.
"Thank you, guys… truly," He sighed, moving the duffel bag off his lap to stand… "and… to prove I'm not just… uh a new roommate," He muttered, before heaving the bag onto the couch, allowing the other to surround it, slowly unzipping the bag. Revealing… a lot of Yen… "I cleaned out our safe… so we have some funds…"
"HOLY SHIT!" Shigaraki chuckled, he'd never seen so much Yen before. "Fuck yeah! I was just gonna accept that with these two," He gestured over to Izuku and Y/n. "We'd pick off strays… but this… this is useful!" He nodded, mindfully picking up a bundle of bills… "haha"
"This is Great Shoto!" Izuku smiled, leaning over the Shigaraki's shoulder to count the amount in a single bundle… trying to gauge the amount they had. Nodding, Kurogiri followed suit, being he was the main guy for financial stuff.
"I'll let the master know that,"
"Actually… don't," Shigaraki interrupted him… "Let's keep this," He mentally groaned at the word he was about to say… "Our Family's little secret.." With a shiver in his spine, he was about to gag.
"Yes… this is all very… nice and all…" Y/n spoke, she had been frantic in the corner… flipping through the TV channels… "but we have a situation…"
The others looked at her, not quite understanding what was wrong… "Why? We got the money… his shit… and you weren't seen, or at least your face right?" Shigaraki was nonchalant about it all, until her lack of response… caused the realization to flood over them… "fuck… he saw you?" Dragging his hands down his face, he literately felt like dusting the entire span of Japan when she shook her head… "Fuck… Fuck… This can't get out! not before we attack the USJ!" Now pacing and scratching, he was muttering… Izuku was soon to follow him, muttering about all the potential possibilities… which wasn't helping anyone. "We could kill him," "NO!"
"OKAY SORRY!…" With a huff, Y/n knew why they couldn't… not yet at least… "I.. could try and erase his memories…" now muttered to herself, formulating how exactly she'd have to do it. "I'd need to be able to touch his head," She watched as Shigaraki stopped, considering her suggestion… glancing up to Izuku who shrugged.
"I don't like it… making us deal with two pros in like a span of a week," Further frustrated, he reluctantly nodded. "Fine… fine… It's worth a shot," "Shoto where is your dad most of the day?"
"At his agency…" Shoto contemplated the question a moment longer. He's there seven days a week, usually from 7 am to 9am. Then he leaves for patrol. Then he's back again from 6 pm to 8pm. Then he's home after." He tried his best to remember his father's full schedule, not wanting to risk getting them killed or, worse, captured.
"one issue…" Y/n spoke, "I'm sure he'll be on edge for a while… but I don't think he'll report Shoto missing… especially because he stole from him." Kurogiri knew where she was going, but the others… were quite lost,
"What's that go to do with anything love?"
"it means… we have some time.." She mutters, glancing back to the TV before continuing… "He doesn't want to frame his boy as a criminal… specifically his perfect creation," gesturing to the duel-haired boy… "And none of us are particularly sneaky… we need… someone skilled at this," She muttered, Knowing full well that at most they had 7 days… but realistically only about 2 days until the media and the school started looking into the sudden disappearance of the Todoroki boy… not to mention the USJ preparations where still necessary… and getting Izuku his quirk… 'so much… this had to go perfectly' she was planning… but she knew nobody in this room was far skilled enough to pull this off. "If we wanna pull this off without triggering the media… then we need a pro," Fazed into the background… the news reports of a mysterious killer, rumored to have burned over 100 people in a week, with video of a mysterious man walking into blue flames… unknown, unseen… a complete mystery… Looking at the TV… she smiled… 'perfect' as the blue flames illuminated the room, it gave her this sick and twisted aura…. turning to the others, the color perfectly reflecting off her form… she smirked… "And I think I know just.. the Guy,"
(OMG THAT WAS FOREVER!! Kept rewriting how I wanted to introduce our next man!! Anyways… I'm working on another part for the Shooting Star fic!! Thank you all for the support and love!!! HAVE A GREAT DAY AND REMEMBER TO EAT, DRINK, AND LOVE YOURSELF BYEEEEEE LOVE YOU ALL)

-A new member already??!??!!? How exciting, I guess you can get a ride or die without even knowing it! Not even a day later… mentions of abuse and injury-
The morning came fast, much faster than either would have preferred. As the alarm blared, neither attempted to shut it off. "mmm!" Y/n groaned, rolling over to try and silence the annoying sound. "Nooo…" she huffed, continuing to sit there for a few minutes more until the sound got a little too annoying. "Fine!" with a sigh, she sat up violently, taking the blankets with her, making Izuku groan in protest. With the warmth gone and Y/n making her way out of the bed, Izuku had no choice but to follow. Stretching his arms above his head, allowing his muscles to flex and release satisfying pops.
"ngh… morning already?" he murmured, his voice groggy and heavy with sleep. He sat back on his elbows, running a hand through his messy bedhead. Looking over to Y/n, who now sat on the edge of the bed making futile attempts to calm her hair without a brush. "Morning sweetheart." He chuckled, watching as she released a frustrated huff before giving up completely.
"Okay… screw that, I'll fix it later," sighing, she was quick to make her way towards the door.
"ah? Y/n w-where are you…" He didn't want her to leave yet… this was his first time waking up next to her… in the same bed.
"Imma go start breakfast," giggling at his pout face, "You're welcome to join me!" with a soft wave, she left out the door and made her way down the hall.
"H-hey! w-wait!" Stumbling quickly to follow, Izuku hustled to grab a shirt before practically running down the hall after her. "I can make breakfast!" He felt guilty for how much he seemed to be leaning on her recently…. and he wanted to show his appreciation for her following him here.
"You've been doing so much for me recently… please let me return the favor" He corned her against the kitchen counter, using his large frame to block all her possible exits. "please?" He watched as her smile brightened, lifting her hand to gently cup his face. 'was she actually going to?' he smiled at the fact that she'd let herself be spoiled for the morning.
"hmm zuku… not a chance," with a gentle pat on his cheek, his face dropped, stunned at how she had fooled him. "I'm making my signature banana pancakes for our first morning!" lifting her arm, she moved the large man out of her way, "You can help tho." Y/n hummed, making her way around the kitchen, still clouded in her P.J.'s and hair pulled back with a random headband she had found lying around.
Watching as Y/n made her way around the kitchen, leaning against the wall, Izuku only watched, with love and slight disappointment, her messy hair, mismatched P.Js and bright smile, made him feel so domestic. As if they weren't trying to scare people, hurt them… Kill them. 'what a woman' he leaned against the counter, practically melting. Watching her brought back so many memories… and altered them just the same. Waiting for Mrs.Bakugo to cook breakfast after a sleepover… 'man… what a time' he shifted…his gaze shifting from her to the knife on the counter… 'why… did he go and ruin it?' Kacchan… he ran through his thoughts… Memories of the river… went from saving him… to Kacchan drowning him in the fountain at school. Waking up in matching P.J.'s and arguing over who was the bigger All Might fan… turned into Kacchan telling him to take a swan dive…
"Izu? Will you wake them?" Her soft voice called him out of his thoughts, bringing him back to his safe haven. As long as she was there… he was happy. She glanced over her shoulder, slight concern crossing her face at the dazed look Izuku gave the knife.
"Of course!" He replaced his scowl with a bright smile, pushing off the wall and making his way out of the kitchen and through the halls. Glancing over his shoulder, he watched as she took care. Plating each plate with a neat pile before moving them over to the table. Watched as she moved to the cabinets, removing four glasses. He hummed, knocking on Kurogiri's door first. He wasn't surprised when the man opened it immediately, only glancing down at him. "b-breakfast is ready." he spoke, still shy of the new men. Often in new places, he found himself reverting back to old habits… 'no more of that Izuku… be confident'. With a soft nod of acknowledgment, he continued on to the next.
Humming to herself, Y/n topped off the final glass of milk before returning the jug to the fridge. "you got your passion…" The lyrics of Vienna left her mouth softly, a song her father would often play. Reminiscing about how her mother would always make her breakfast, banana pancakes specifically…she couldn't help the soft smile that graced her face… nor the feeling of tears that began to weld in her eyes. 'Man… I've gone soft' It wasn't often that she thought about her parents… but the memories were always fawn. From their time spent together… to simple stories she could remember seeing about her dad on T.V. Moving to set the pan and spatula into the sink "But, don't you know, only fools are satisfied EKK!" She squeaked when two arms made their way around her waist, and a head resting on her shoulder. She had been that lost in the music… the peace. With a soft exhale, she ruffled the green locks that were tickling her face.
"Okay… they're awake." Izuku hummed softly, blushing at how open he was being with his affection. He was interested in how they would react… would they be happy? Upset?… this was all completely uncharted territory… and he couldn't wait to research it.
"Good, let's go take our seats and wait," She turned, still in his arms. Lifting her head she pressed a gentle kiss to his lips, humming at the heat she could feel radiating off his face….'After so many years, you'd think he'd get over it' she giggled to herself, pulling away slowly. Watched as his lips were still puckered and his eyes were still closed. She hummed, gently pushing his chest back so she could maneuver around him. Running to pull her seat back for her, before gently pushing her back in, Izuku took his own seat right next to her.
They heard the soft creek of the bedroom doors, signaling that both had awakened. Shigaraki made small steps, shuffling out his room still clad in sleepwear. His hair was sticking in different directions and the mismatched tank top and sweatpants were wrinkled heavily. Kurogiri on the other hand was dressed in his usual formal attire. Y/n could see his yellow eyes widen slightly at the view of a home-cooked meal… sitting hot and ready on their table. "I made Banana Pancakes!" Y/n smiled softly, watching the two closely to gauge their reaction.
"Banana Pancakes?" Shigaraki softly asked his voice horse with sleep… with his still shuffle, he slowly made his way over to the table taking the seat across from Izuku. "They, uh any good?" He glanced at Izuku for confirmation. Once he received a soft nod of approval from the greenet, he picked up his own fork to test it. He was hesitant… never had someone cooked a meal for him… no… not for Shigaraki. Eyes locked onto the bit he had sitting on his fork, he set it gently onto his tongue, allowing the flavor to truly soak in. "Wow…" with his pupils dilating ever so slightly, for the first time in years… he… he didn't feel like Shigaraki… for the first time in years… he was Tenko. Sitting there, waiting for his mother to bring him a meal, giggling softly as she pinched his cheek on her way back to the kitchen, his glass of milk filled to the top. 'How did she…' He glanced back to Y/n who was smiling softly at him. 'It's like she's in my mind'
"I love cooking… so … Shigaraki… and Kurogiri, expect a lot of homemade meals!" She watched as his eyes softened ever so slightly… he would never admit it out loud, but… for the first time in his life… Shigaraki was content… with just sitting down and eating… No need for planning or brooding, just him, his pancakes, Kurogiri… and these strange two teens that have somehow already… made him feel more accomplished. Y/n hummed softly, slowly making her way to stand, seeing that they were running low on drinks.
"Thank you again Mrs. Y/n," Kurogiri nodded in acknowledgment, gently setting his now empty glass down.
"Just Y/n please, we're friends! not co-workers!" She smiled gently at him, before disappearing into the kitchen.
(Mini Time skip)
As the conversation flowed and the morning turned into the afternoon, the small band of misfits was found lounging on the couch, watching an anime that Y/n had stared at not too long ago. "Okay wait… so he has the same name as the guy she loves?" Shigaraki asked, moving the pillow he was lying on to fit more comfortably on the chair.
"Yeah, and she gave him a nickname so she's not constantly reminded of that" Y/n answered, picking up the controller to click to the next episode. As the intro began to play, Y/n removed herself from Izuku's arms to go get a snack. "Anyone want…" A loud pounding on the door caught everyone's attention. Kurogiri froze from his position behind the bar, gently setting the book he was reading down. Shigaraki sat up from the chair, tossing the pillow as he moved. And Izuku had rushed to pause the show, allowing the home to fall into silence.
"Who the hell…" Shigaraki muttered, his breath low and eyes locked on the door. Y/n and Kurogiri were not both by the couch, watching as Izuku and Shigaraki slowly moved to answer the door. With caution, Izukus's footsteps were quiet and deliberate, close behind him Shigaraki followed.
"I… should I answer?" Izuku questioned, hand reaching for the door. However, he jumped slightly when the pounding continued.
"Just do it, we can kill them if necessary" Shigaraki nodded, encouraging him to do so. With quick hands, Izuku opened the door, and with a shuttered breath…
"T-Todoroki?!" Y/n squeaked, making a quick move towards him.
"Y/L/N…. M-Midoriya" He panted softly, hand pressing against what looked like a barn mark. He heaved, before falling to his knees, leaning his body against the door, just staring at Y/n…"I… I found you…" He smiled… his face contracting into pain pain-stricken smile… "Finally!"

Summary:^
Quirk: Not specified
Warnings/Genre: fluff, cursing
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
God, this boy is deeply in love with you
Even when you cry so easily
He lowkey loves comforting you lol
You being sensitive can be seen as annoying but not to him
To him it just means that you can understand feelings more than others
It helps when conversations go to being about his past
Being a crybaby sensitive means you’re super understanding
Cuddles all the time
Calms both of you down all the time
Tea?
Yes
Shoto has feelings too
And you’re the best person to understand him
You know what being sad feels like
And angry
And happy
Cuz you cry while feeling those all the time
This also means you know when people are feeling this
So when Shoto feels down
You will notice
He can never hide
You’re super fast to acknowledge
And super fast to pick him up from his sad feelings
So yeah, you’re a pretty damn awesome girlfriend
P.S He will never make you cry unless it happy tears
P.P.S if you do, it’s most definitely a mistake that he will fix right away
Annoyed at first
But then learns to love you
You cried all the time when he yelled at you
But then you learned he never meant anything bad when he yelled at you
So you stopped crying at everything he said
But when he cries
About being the one ending All Might
You’re there to the rescue
When he has to bottle up feelings, you’re there to let him have an outlet
He loves you for that
Like, seriously you’re amazing
Will beat someone up if they made you cry
And will beat himself up if he accidentally said something that hurt you
You will stop him and he will apologize
And he won’t say it out loud but you’re the best thing to happen to him and he loves you
Yeah
yeah
Dabi: thats right. (Holds up full carton of milk.) I came back with the milk.
Shoto: hooray! Finally, we can-
Dabi, furiously drinking the milk.
Shoto: wat
Dabi, holding up now empty bottle of milk: aw, man. Outta milk. See ya, shoto. (Leaves)
Shoto: NOO
Warnings; cursing, making out, Shouto is a champ at eating pussy (he has a tongue ring in this), ass eating, vaginal fingering, small bit of spanking, Shouto is a little bit subby in this (his moans & some of the things he says), dirty talk, Shouto has a bit of a praise kink, Shouto holds your hands behind your back when you ride him😮💨
Authors Note; sorry if this is too long- I had to complete the headcannons for my favorite three MHA boys sooner rather than later. I love Shouto, he deserves all the good things and a lot of hugs. Hope you all enjoy these headcannons as much as I enjoyed writing them- if anyone would like a specific MHA character or someone from a different anime, feel free to DM me💕
Shouto who comes off as cold, uninterested, maybe a bit of a dick, but who is actually so sweet & so loving, who is actually the kind of person that writes down facts about you so he doesn’t forget them (you found the list in his notes app—you definitely cried), who always buys extra of what he’s eating —so you can have some too (even if you said you weren’t hungry)
Shouto who doesn’t get social cues very well, who tilts his head when he’s confused, who wears a blank, spaced out expression on his face often, who lets you teach him how to read the room a bit easier, whose smile could actually melt ice with its warmth (Shouto makes the most facial expressions when he’s with you— you take that as a win)
Shouto who you met in high school, but weren’t really friends with— or dated until after you all graduated, who you crossed paths with while battling a villain, who you caught mid air when he was falling from the top of a building, on the verge of passing out (he says he swears he saw you with a halo, because he fell in love with an Angel that day)
Shouto who loves to drink strawberry milk, who has so many cartons cluttering the fridge in your home, who also brings you a glass when he’s drinking some, because he’s learned he can also show you he loves you by sharing what he likes with you (you think it’s so motherfucking cute when you are handed a glass of milk out of the blue)
Shouto who decides to be a bit rebellious after he gets out of high school, who wants to try new things, who decides to cut his hair shorter, who gets a nose ring, who pierces his ears (not to mention his tongue ring— you almost fainted when you noticed it the first time🥵) who goes with you when you get your own tattoos & piercings—he often wears jewelry that reminds him of you
Shouto who says his absolute favorite thing in the world is to snuggle up with you on the couch, when it’s raining, when the two of you are wrapped up in a fluffy blanket burrito, watching movies & napping (if it gets a little X rated, who can judge you😮💨)
Shouto who is a fucking dry texter, but who sends you pictures of things he knows you love while he’s out on patrol, especially pics of dogs that he encounters (he even ends up bringing one home for you), who gets so happy when you respond with pictures of things you know he enjoys—sort of making your own language with one another
Shouto who likes to wear more of a streetwear style when he’s not working (to your never ending delight), who likes to wear matching clothes with you (shoes, shirts, even matching colors, etc.), who even bought you both a pair of matching underwear (because it makes him feel like a part of you is with him—you did feel a bit smug, knowing you were technically sitting on his face all day)
Shouto who sucks ass at almost every video game, but who can annihilate anyone at Mario Kart, bitter because you don’t think you’ve ever beaten him, (although whenever you and your friends gather at your home, the highlight of the night is watching Bakugou lose to Sho over & over)
Shouto who has stayed close to Midoriya, considering the man as his brother by extension (you love the green haired man & see him often), who goes to the #1 hero for help planning you a surprise party by sending Midoriya a series of increasingly concerning emojis until he agrees (he was nervous he would mess it up—he didn’t)
Shouto who loves to eat peach gummy rings?? (not the only peach he likes to eat👀), who you have woken up to eating the candy at 2:00 am (you just take one and go back to sleep), who memorizes your favorite candy and leaves it for you to find everywhere— even your car (you love Shouto so goddamn much)
This is part of the reason that I don't like when people characterize him as being this really stoic emotionally unavailable character, because he is super emotionally available, but he just isn't emotionally intelligent if that makes sense.
He's just a really sweet guy who happens to be rather dense, not dense in that he doesn't recognise peoples emotion but rather in that he isn't super good at social cues in working out why people tend to feel those emotions.
But I really do love how he puts away all of his pride, which honestly Shoto doesn't seem to have a lot of to instantly give her the motivation, I know canonically it was because they were both heavily reliant on their quirks but I think it was also because of Shoto's self confidence, well less so confidence just he lacked the care for what other thought of him in a sense, he get's over himself without question because.
A. That get's them the win
B. Put's her back in the game
He knows she's competent, massively so as can be seen by her dissection of the Training Fight in which she broke down why everyone got their scores, and she out maneuvered him in the sports fest, I think he was in a way rather distraught that she was feeling so bad for herself, because to him, why would she have to feel so put out, it was one bad match up.
But to get back on topic in some way, I think it's cute that he tries really hard to help her through out the exam and even afterwards with Kamino and the Hood attack.
We don't talk enough about how Todoroki goes out of his way to see Momo happy in that final exam arc. He:
Notices Momo is nervous about the practical and comes up with an idea for the both of them
Reassures her when the exam starts and listens to her concerns
Tries to protect her the moment he knows Aizawa is nearby
Immediately fucking shelves his ego and plans when his teacher tells him to believe in his partner
Tells Momo about his confidential vote for class president, because he knows it will give her the confidence she needs to have someone she admires, admire her back
Fucking basically offers to massage her foot when he sees her starts crying?! This boy, I swear...
Todoroki himself is sleeping on it but this man has game
Why have I not reblogged this?
I love it so much.
I'm probably going to do something with this in Piezo.
I remembered a pick up line I read from Tumblr years ago~ So I decided to make this! XD This is so corny hahaha anyway this was not how I planned this at first. I planned to go on Todoroki bluntly delivering the pick up line leaving Momo a blushing mess.. I don't know how it turned into this... Well, I hope you'll enjoy this short comic ^^ ♥
