Oh my goodness! I had no idea that this was actually happening! Some people are truly terrible! I am a person of color and have felt racially discriminated multiple times
sorry but it’s actually so horrific how little of a sense of community people have, how little regard they extend towards the other humans around them. killing people for being loud on the subway or turning around in your driveway. loading your gun and waiting at the door because a child ran your doorbell unexpectedly. ring cameras, neighborhoodapp, community watch group Facebook pages. you’ve assigned yourself the role of the one true peacekeeper and casted everyone else around you as a threat to be controlled. there’s no connection or love or compassion. just a deep distrust and hatred.
and the people who face the most significant consequences from this are the ones who are already deemed as outsiders. people of color, especially Black people, disabled people, people with mental illnesses, homeless people.

Sometimes communities and fandoms online can be... toxic with their comments and opinions.
It can be hard to enjoy something when you see so much hated/negativity around it.
I'm having a hard time trying to type my thoughts out, but what I'm trying to say is;
As long as the things you are enjoying aren't hurting anybody, then continue to enjoy those things. Don't let other people's negatively ruin your view of the thing and bring you down.
SIDE NOTE: Just try to be aware of things like racism, homophobia, transphobia, ableism, sexism, etc. Those are examples of what I meant by "as the things you are enjoying aren't hurting anybody..."

This woman and her family are STARVING, they are in a situation that has been THREATENING their lives. Robbie Lee aka @diehardblm feels like she has no hope and she feels HELPLESS. What if you were in her situation right now? It would be so horrible for anybody to be going through this right now but these people are going through this RIGHT NOW. I first started talking to her in January when she messaged me and she thanked me for sharing her post. But while we talked in February. She talked to me again on March 11th. Things only have gotten worse for these people.

Hello I just realized that I never really introduced myself! So hello, My name is Tyler and I go by He/they pronouns. I am transgender and gay and I am also a minor. Some things I like are Greek Mythology, General history, floriography, FNaF, Hazbin Hotel/Helluva Boss, DnD, and Marvel/DC. Some of my skills include sewing (sometimes), writing, baking, making soap, and cooking. I probably will only be putting things about Floriography, Greek Mythology, history, baking, eventually some of my soaps, and maybe some of my sewing projects. I enjoy fictional books mostly but I also will sometimes read nonfiction books, they just don’t typically grab my attention as much. ok...in the span of like three months another black man’s cruel death has gone viral after Ahmaud Arbery’s shooting back in February. The pattern is that both Arbery and George Floyd were killed by racist white men. More and more black people are suffering the horrors of police brutality, and it needs to stop. Will this make me hate cops? No, I watch too many cop shows. Anyway, I just wanted to spread awareness of these harmless black men being ruthlessly killed. The more it happens, the more it seems like genocide to me. White people are KILLING black people once again. We need to stop this cycle. I don’t know any donation sites to help the fight against racist killings, but you guys can reblog this and post some charities to donate to since I’m broke and the only thing I can do is speak out.

y'know people getting mad about Pride Month is the same as people getting mad about BLM. There's no straight pride for the same reason white lives matter isn't a thing. You're complaining about a non issue. Straight Pride is literally every day due to heteronormativity and white lives matter is a dumb statement for similar reasons. Pride and BLM exist because LGBT+ people and POC are marginalized groups who have to fight for their rights. A cis/het white guy yelling on Twitter hasn't had to fight for shit.
Black lives matter, what happened with this idea. The whole point was to stop racism and make race equality.
BUT What we see now??? Broken statues, vandalism and more... People from BLM, What happened with you??!! From peaceful protest half of you became killers and robbers. People are scared of you, if you hate Police why are you attack random people? Because of your actions racism will only grow and it will bad. YES, some Policemans are bad, but not all of them.

We shouldn't only get involved in fights that directly affect us -we should fight for everything we believe in. I know it can sometimes be a lot. Not all communities even want help from 'outsiders'. But we have to stick together. 'Cause for everything that's different about us, there's something in common for everyone.
How can we expect ALL people to make changes for our closest causes, if we're not ready to step up out of our lane even a little bit for theirs? So today I speak for everything I see is wrong in this world. And you should too.
