Remembering the first time you picked up your favorite series is such a surreal feeling. You never would have known in that moment how much each character and scene would mean to you, and how many hours you would spend reading and feeling and crying with the words on every page until the early hours of the morning.

I think the most painful moment as a fangirl/fanboy is when you realise that a show/book you'd just dedicate your life to and obsess over 24/7 is getting less and less interesting.

I got into Maze runner from the movies and I honestly forgot he was a character! Until I read the books hahaha

I feel like frypan is SO underexplained in the movies, like him and Thomas were so close and im reading the death cure, he is actually a complex character and the movies just brushed over that :/

I love newtmas so much genuinely one of my favourite ships and their relationship has LAYERS and I wish Newt could've went with Thomas to safe haven and spent their future together

BUT

If I had the power to somehow change Newts ending I'd keep it the same Wait! Wait! Put the pitchforks and torches down

Now hear me out Newts death was IMPORTANT and honestly to ME atleast what makes Newtmas so much more tragic is the fact that they were frankly doomed from the start (ESPECIALLY in the books) Newt was never gonna be happy he was never gonna be truly "free" something he'd always wanted.. and the fact that Thomas went to the maze after Newts attempt only for Newt to die by HIS OWN hands later on!

Newtmas is good because their ending was written in stone no matter what lengths thomas went for Newt... although they should've kissed 🙈hhehe

Zombie AU heavily inspired by @kobrafangs ‘s post here I put kind of a spin on things, now they’re in a video game >:)

So I'm a huge tmnt fan but I'm also going through maze runner brain rott at the moment and I've been thinking abt what animals newtmas (and other characters) would be if they got mutated.

I think

-Thomas would be a racoon. Why you may ask?

Raccoons are surprisingly intelligent and they also happen to be extremely curious and persistent creatures, features I think that fit Thomas pretty well

-Newt would be hmm let's see... a wolf. Again why?

It has to do with how wolves are devoted to family and are usually caring and playful :)

Additional:

-Minho is probably and eagle.

Eagles are known for being fearless and never giving up no matter the size of their prey, they're also a symbol of leadership!

Honestly I was planning on drawing some sonya X Harriet when I realised "yeah nah I'm 2 tired for this" so I ended up quickly putting this harriet drawing together l! I honestly didn't know whether I wanted to draw her movie or book design so I just ended up bailing and drawing her how I envisioned her during like 90% of my stay in the fandom lol

-Maze runner plot where- an Alt Wicked has figured out the multi verse and is doing smth very risky!? (Maybe like merge their universe with a universe that doesn't have the flare?)

And basically

The Canon verse finds out and has to stop them and they team up with an Alt universe where instead of Newt dying it was Thomas (Thomas died for newt in that universe for more angst hehe)

And maybe also in that universe Thomas sacrificed himself and went to the glade and it was actually Newt who started all the events that led to them escaping the glade?? I hope you're getting what I'm going on about rn haha.But it was still Thomas who helped build the mazes and stuff in this universe!

And for even MORE angst potentially it was Minho who got stung and died in that universe and alby was the "leader"

Imagine newtmas trauma dumping about each others deaths lol!
