I really like your x-men evolution redraw art But why is Pietro white? Even in the original screenshot he's brown

I used their official coloring, shading them a little more:

A little darker for Lance

A little greener for Todd

A little lighter for Fred to add tan marks

A little lighter for Pietro Because his father is white, his sister is white and I didn't go for originality X) If he looks darker skinned in the screen it's because of the subdued light, this scene takes place at night if I'm not mistaken. Although I admit he'd look cool with a darker skin tone now that you've suggested it, but I didn't think of that when I drew him. I've always seen him as a very light-skinned character with a dull yellow tint

There were also at least two times where a single bullet was enough to give Quicksilver pause, which foreshadowed how he was going to die

So I know the series finale of X-Men Evolution has a lot going on, but I don’t think we talk nearly enough about how the Brotherhood boys, a bunch of teenagers who never finished high school, managed to:

1) steal a plane

2) OPERATE a plane

3) successfully fly to a different continent, the only issue being they got lost before reaching their destination and therefore arrived late

4) land the plane in raw jungle with enough deftness that the plane was still operational for takeoff afterwards

every time the Brotherhood did something "evil" without Mystique or Magneto pulling the strings, it was because they wanted money for food or for stable living conditions. just saying

Going back to my roots with a Platonic Soulmate AU, this time for Dadneto in the @house-of-dadneto event! I hope you all enjoy! I'm super excited about this one, and would love to hear what you thought!

Summary:

“What was your name again?” Peter, the boy went to reply, only for “Pietro,” to come tumbling out instead without warning. It caught the speedster off guard so much so that he slipped into superspeed on accident, blinking rapidly as if it would somehow explain his slip up. Only his family called him Pietro, and even then, Wanda was the only one who still called him it on a regular basis. Why would he have told this stranger -this criminal no less- his real name? ~~~ Or, The one thing soulmates can't do is lie to each other, something Peter quickly learns on his unexpected trip to the Pentagon.

There were pros and cons to staying at Charles’s school, Erik had discovered. For starters, there always seemed to be some kind of virus or cold going around, sick little kids running everywhere. It didn’t bother Erik too much but he did think they could do a little more to keep from getting sick and spreading their germs. On the plus side though, when his son inevitably caught whatever was going around that week, Erik got to be there for him and care for him the way a father should. Even when the thing going around is a stomach virus. - Peter catches the stomach virus going around the school and Erik takes care of his son.

Okay so maybe Erik had made a mistake somewhere in his life. The problem was, that he had made many more than just one mistake that had led him here. He could’ve simply not left Charles on the beach, for starters, he could’ve not sent a bullet into his spine. I love dadneto (as we all do) but I think it's unrealistic that Magda (Peter's mum) would just willingly let Erik be around Peter and let him be a parent after abandoning her for 20 years.

I just need more fics where Magda confronts Erik and stands her ground on the fact that Peter is HER SON and Erik just happens to biologically be his father

Here comes the long awaited dadneto fic:

"This day couldn't get any worse. Except for the fact it keeps repeating. When will this stop?"

Peter is stuck in a time loop and the only thing that will get him out is telling Erik he is his son.
